Over sixty years later, the CIA obtain details from a KBG archive making reference to the weapon, and an immediate search begins to identify and obtain it for the USA. David Osborne pensioned off from British Military intelligence having been diagnosed with terminal cancer, unknowingly stumbles across the secret while sailing in the Northern Aegean, as other intelligence agencies also learn of the existence of the weapon, and the race for its possession begins.

After graduating from Manchester University with a degree in politics and modern history, he worked as a newspaper and radio journalist before founding Milo Books.
