Original Satan’s member Peg and his Old Lady Darcy’s son Noah is all grown up and officially a patched member himself in fact he’s actually the clubs enforcer and goes by the road name Throttle, he’s a rough around the edges ladies man with a ‘one and done’ attitude, one memorable night with him is all a woman will get, he’s not the settling down type, he doesn't want a woman to call his own and has no intention of becoming a husband, certainly not for a good few years, if at all. However fate has other plans when Gwen appears back in his life, she was his younger sister’s high school friend and unbeknown to him she had a huge crush on him. Throttle may not have taken much notice of Gwen back in high school, but he certainly notices her now she’s all grown up with curves in all the right places, he admires those curves from a distance as he watches her work, she’s a new waitress at the Wheel Inn restaurant and bar which the club owns, Throttle is often there taking on the role of being a bouncer and the pair reconnect, in a purely platonic way, yet there’s nothing platonic about the thoughts they’re having when it comes to one another, the chemistry’s there and sparks are ready to fly, if only Throttle would change his way of thinking when it comes to the opposite sex.
When one of Throttle’s one night stands comes back to haunt him there’s danger in store not only for himself but Gwen too, things take an ominous turn ranging from assault to an near death experience, it would appear that someone doesn't like the renewed friendship between the pair. With them both being targeted, Throttle along with his brothers by his side takes it upon himself to become Gwen’s protector, he initially he ignores his growing feelings towards her but when things really start getting out of control and he can no longer resist those feelings, he mans up and claims her as his Old Lady, however that one night stand has another trick up her sleeve and this time she really puts a wedge between the newly formed couple. Will Throttle and Gwen be able to overcome the ‘situation’ as well as any further difficulties which may be thrown their way? Or will it all prove too much, resulting in them going their separate ways for good?
I drove into this, the third book in the Satan’s Devils MC Second Generation series full throttle, and what a wild ride it was. An action packed, suspense filled read with many twists and turns which keep us readers on the edge of our seats throughout the storyline, and there’s a particularly big twist at the end, that one might even have you not only sitting but actually falling off the edge of said seat. The book has everything and more readers have come to expect from Manda Mellett and in my opinion it’s the best book she’s written so far. Now the wait is on to see what’s in-store next for the brothers of the Satan’s Devils MC and the significant others who bring them to their knees.

Twisted Throttle is the third book in the Satan’s Devils MC Second Generation series by Manda Mellett. Over the years, I have read all the Satan’s Devils books from the original series, right through to this second generation- and have loved and enjoyed them all. As the tittle would suggest, second generation, this series follows the children of the characters we’ve come to know and love in the original series. This could be read as a standalone, but having said that, I highly recommend reading the original series before embarking on this one- as I think there is a lot of background information, character details, and relationship insights that are revealed in those books- which would definitely give you a better understanding and appreciation of the characters, and the story.
This is a contemporary MC romance story, and is full of sexy bikers, danger, mystery, suspense, comradery, action, drama, emotion, and more.
This is Noah (Throttle) and Gwen’s story. Noah is the son of Peg and Darcy, who we know and love from the original Satan’s Devils series- their story was told in “Peg’s Stand (Satan’s Devils MC #6) – which was a favourite of mine. Twisted Throttle is book three in the Satan's Devils MC Second Generation series by Manda Mellett. This is an action packed story about the kids of the original Satan's Devils bikers and their dramatic lives. The MC genre has always drawn me. I love reading how others live, their traditions, their rules, their hierarchy etc. Sometimes these laws infuriate me, nut the sense of loyalty and family is enviable and gives a reader never ending thrills, wows and no ways!!! The leading man sees his life going one way, and he is totally blindsided when it unfolds a different way.
Manda Mellett details larger than life characters, the continuation of her exciting biker life, and everything a reader comes to expect from this author. Twisted Throttle is a dangerous, intense exciting, enthralling, impressive, stimulating and salacious. A cast of many personalities who blend to make a spellbinding family. 4 stars.

Twisted Throttle is the third book in the Satan’s Devils MC Second Generation series. It can be read as a standalone. If you want more backstory on the characters outside of the main ones in this book, I recommend reading the other Satan’s Devils series by this author.
This story starts out with intensity and keeps the pace throughout. Even though I had figured out most of the mystery by the first quarter of the book, it was interesting to see how it played out. Toward the end I suspected which way the final twist was going. Interesting choice for motive.
Good action, danger, a twisted stalker, unexpected love…it’ll keep you turning the pages.

Twisted Throttle by Manda Mellett a five-star read that will twist you in all the right ways. This is number three in the Satan’s Devils MC second generation series and it can be read as stand-alone, but I have read them all and love the world building, the little hints you pick up on and the backstories. Throttle was not what I was expecting, I really didn’t like him at first but soon I started to change my tune. Gwen was such a strong character, and this story will hook you. I really enjoyed the spin of the story; it wasn’t the way you normally see it and that was so well done. As always great writing from this author and I am so excited to see where we will go next.

Throttle is the Sergeant At Arms in the Satan’s Devils MC and he lives and breathes the club, the life and the women which he propositions and he wants nothing else, he is the happiest he has ever been and change is the last thing he wants, despite his parents best efforts at requesting it.
Today he is dealing with a slight to the club, someone has stolen a Prospects motorbike and that is something which is a sin, a mans bike is sacrosanct and nobody should touch it without their permission, but to let their bike be stolen is just as bad, even if they were only away from it for a few minutes, but as usual the clubs resident technical wizz has trawled through endless amounts of CCTV and actually found it, now they just have to pay a visit to the scrapyard when it has been traced to. Throttle is more than ready for this type of action, it has been to quiet for him as of late, so getting the opportunity to grab the guys who stole it, find out what they were planning to do with it and take them to task while telling them the mistake they have made and the consequences which go along with it, none of which is pleasant, for them at least. After the warning has been given and the people of interest have been returned to their workplace in a much worse state than when they left it, Throttle’s dad asks him for a word and they talk about what his parents wanted for him and how he only ever wanted to be in the MC when he didn’t sign up to the armed forces, much to his parents' relief, they also discuss the fellow member who has had mental health issues and making sure that Throttle isn’t heading the same way and whether his is happy, as well as says that he is not altogether appreciative of his lifestyle of one night stands and carousel of women he knows his son consorts with.
After the heated discussion, he is needing some space as his emotions are running high, Throttle heads to the bar/ restaurant the Devil's own where he can get something to eat and a drink, but he doesn’t expect to see a girl he knew as a kid and hasn’t seen for years working there. As they catch up, it is like those years disappear and she seems to have her life sorted out which makes Throttle happy to hear, but as she is working, the conversation peters out and he instead goes on the prowl and sees someone he thinks may be the next to ride his carousel, however, the chance disappears until the manager of the restaurant asks him to come back the next day to help manage a bachelorette party, to which he agrees. The next day he returns to help out, but ends up following the group to the next venue, which happens to be a strip club also owned by the Devils, much to his annoyance, but the same woman who caught his eye propositions him at the end of the night and he agrees to go back to her place, but when he sets out the rules, he assumes she will follow them, that is until the next day when she tries to get him to go out with her, he refuses and thinks no more of it.
When he returns to the clubhouse later that evening, he hears that one of the waitresses has been hurt and when he realises that it is his childhood friend, he rushes to her side at the hospital after stopping at the bar to see what happened. The next day he receives an expensive gift from a mystery person and as he tries to follow up on this, he is still checking in on his friend, but he is starting to think about her more and more and this has him worried, especially when he finds out that her house has also been ransacked. As time passes and his friend heals, he is tailed by a mystery car multiple times as he checks on her, followed by a further gift and silent phone calls, this mystery deepens and he gets involved with someone else,
but cannot see how they are all connected and neither can anyone else, is it a jilted lover, someone with it in for the MC, or something else entirely? This fast paced romp is a romance with a mysterious and dangerous twist as things out of Throttle’s control keep happening until he has no idea what is happening and you are pulled along on the journey with him you are just as mystified until the ending is revealed.

Twisted Throttle (Satan’s Devils MC Second Generation #3) by Manda Mellett

The mother chapter in Tuscan is and always will be my favorite of all of the Satan's Devils and this second generation addition is something I absolutely love. It gets confusing here and there with the “club kids” and reminding myself throughout who is who and who is whose. None of that matters though because our “FOG’s” are still front and center making this part of all the series my new favorite!
Peg’s book is actually where I met the Satan’s Devils. I have since gone back and read them all but Peg will always hold a special place with me. Now his son has grown up and become the enforcer of the club. At first I had a small problem with Throttle and the way he spoke to Peg out loud and in his thoughts. That was the “Peg was my first, you better be nice” thoughts LOL But as it went on I was at ease with all that.
I just can't go into this storyline, besides that I loved these two. I loved the hardness Throttle started out with, he had the softness he needed to make me fall in love with him pretty quick. I also loved Gwen from the first time I met her. I have said this in many reviews and I will say it again. I don't know how this author can write so many books that center in the same group of people (The Satan’s Devils) and make each one different than any of the others, you never know what will come next. They are always hard to put down and even when I walk away for things like “adulting” all I'm thinking about is picking it back up.
This one O.M.G.! The story itself was enough to have me a complete mess, then...The End happened…. I just can’t, but I will say.. BEST TWIST EVER!! I thought I had everything figured out and sorted...Yea, that was a big NOT! I won't anytime soon forget this book!
If you haven't read any of these books, what are you waiting for? Honestly the books and the author sit way at the top of my all time favorites!!

This is Throttle and Gwen's story.
Noah A.K.A. Throttle is Peg and his Old Lady's son who is now the Clubs Enforcer. He is a one and done kind of guy. He doesn't want any entanglements or responsibilities. He hooks up with the ladies and then leaves and never looks back.
Throttle runs into his sisters friend from high school at The Wheel Inn, a restaurant and bar owned and run by the Satan's Devils MC. Gwen is the new waitress there.
Gwen had a crush on Throttle in high school but Throttle only thought of her as his sisters friend. But now as they get to know each other, sparks fly. Gwen is a very strong woman. She has had to be as she grew up in the Foster Care System and has not had anyone to rely on or anyone to lover her. She has always been on her own. She has always wanted a family and for someone of her own.
Gwen realizes that she has a stalker. Someone who wants her gone and isn't afraid to hurt her to achieve this. Throttle feels responsible and wants to help her out. In the meantime, he is receiving gifts from a secret admirer.
This is another fantastic read by Manda Mellett. Throttle is someone you can count on. He is a strong guy who takes care of the people he loves. Gwen is a kick ass heroine who can take care of herself and can drop anyone who tries to hurt her or the ones she loves.
For most of the book I was hanging on the edge of my seat. The book has all the things in it that Manda's books are known for. There is humour, intrigue, hot, steamy love making and strong family ties. Also, we see some of the original Satan's Devils and get to catch up with their lives.
I have read all of Manda Mellett's books and love them. I have never read a book by her that I didn't love! I highly recommend this book to anyone that loves the MC genre. If you haven't read this series then I definitely suggest you do.

Again, I have loved this series from the beginning. Manda Mellett has a way of pulling me into the SD world and I enjoy every second of it. This book was no exception. I loved Noah and Gwen's story. To watch Gwen take control of her life and stand her ground was amazing! Hope to see more of them in future books!

Just simply, WOW! The more and more that I delve into this series, the more that I love it! Twisted Throttle is the third book in the Satan’s Devils MC Second Generation series by Manda Mellett. I was a bit surprised with Noah aka Throttle, who happens to be Peg and Darcy’s son. Throttle is now the Enforcer of the mother chapter of Satan’s Devils in Tucson. It’s so cool to see these men all grown up now! In this book, Throttle seems to have a stalker. As soon as he gains on this stalker, a curve ball smacks him right in the face. Her name is Gwen. Just like so many of the other brothers in the series, Throttle is not ready for a permanent “Old Lady.” So what do you think happens between the two of them? I love these two and can’t wait to see where they go in future books. There are so many twists and turns. The reason I love this series and this author is the fact that you really never know what will happen. There are so many twists and turns that there is just no way you can predict the outcome of ANYTHING! It’s simply brilliant. There are never the same twists from book to book. Every book is a new adventure! Just like all the other series, I recommend you read it from the beginning but you can definitely read this one on its own. I love this series and cannot wait to read the next book!

This is the third book in the Satan Devil's Second Generation series. I have read the original books and as the title suggests this follows on as this story is about one of the children of the original member of the MC. Even though it is part of a series it can be read as a standalone but personally I would read them in order as you then get the feel for the characters and you understand the background.
In this story we find Noah( Throttle). Now he is all grown up and a fully patched member of the Satan Devils as their enforcer. His life is his club. He doesn't want a relationship or to settle down. He's happen with random one night stands and he makes sure the women he's with know that.
However things change when someone seems to have a vendetta against him. After his old school friend is attached and her house trashed Throttle and the brothers set out to find out who is behind this.
Is someone hurting Gwen to get to him? Who would dare mess with a Satan Devil?
As they try to solve this the relationship between Throttle and Gwen grows stronger. Could there be something to having an old lady after all?
With danger, Romance, and mystery it will keep you hooked from beginning to end.

Manda Mellett has done it again! I didn't know what to expect from Peg and Darcy's son but king of the one-night stand wasn't it. Throttle has no interest in settling down. Why bother when he could have a different woman in his bed every night. Too bad his parents didn't get the memo. When he runs into his sister's best friend from high school, Gwen waitressing at the club owned restaurant he doesn't expect to feel attraction. He shoves it down, buries it as there is no way he is going to go there. When she is attacked in their parking lot one night after her shift, he is taken by surprise by his reaction. He fights it for a while which is understandable. He is a little busy dealing with a stalker and he is being followed. As more things keep happening, he can't fight his attraction any longer. At first these two wouldn't seem like a good match. That said Gwen is made of strong stuff, she kept surprising me. I love this couple, they go through so much but end up solid and strong. Ms Mellett is wickedly talented. She never writes the same book twice and her characters are vivid and unique. Her books are always top notch and worth every penny, ten stars for Throttle and Gwen!

This is one of my favorites for the second Generation kids. Throttle is Pegs boy. Grown up and now the enforcer for the club. I enjoyed getting to know him and his views. Watching him and Blade bounce ideas and such off each other was a delight. This also give a different look at Peg and Darcy....as parents. At times it threw me for a loop but I recovered as did they.
In here as in every book is one of the reasons I keep coming back to this group. Yeah they are bad...yeah they are tough...yeah they have sex..a lot. But my favorite thing is the family/friend camaraderie between these boys. Oh the girls have it too but those boys? They tease each other..pick on each other and goof around. Their age doesn’t matter when it come to have fun at someone else’s expense. The trip and the fun that Blade and Truck have together in here just reminds me of the good old days. Then that whole thing with Hawk and how that went down...I was sitting her smiling so so Big. Those FOG’s...you never know what they are up to when they are bunched together.
Overall this is quite an enjoyable book. Filled with fun, danger and all the Devils you can handle.

Noah is all grown up and is a big heathy strong man now. He’s capable of just about anything as the new enforcer of the Satan’s Devils. What happens when Throttle ( Noah ) goes to the Wheel Inn and runs into an old friend Gwen? Technically she was his sisters close friend from childhood. Now both Noah and Gwen are all grown up and mature.
Throttle likes to get around and ever see the same girl twice but one girl doesn’t seem to get the message.
Gwen is attacked badly one night walking to her car after leaving her shift at the Wheel Inn. Being the Wheel Inn belongs to the Satan’s Devils it is up to them to figure things out and try to find out who attacked Gwen.
The Dray twins Cedar and Oak are nothing more then a thorn in their side. Are they capable of what has been going on? The attack was only the beginning. So much more happens as days pass. There is so much going on in this book, you can’t blink or you may miss something.

This book took me on a wild ride of who did it, why and how the he&& is the club going to figure this out? Gwen and Throttle are perfect together. Throttle is rough around the edges and Gwen comes along and smooths out those edges, while using her sassy personality to keep Throttle on his toes. Throttle never thought he would settle down with one woman, Gwen never thought her high school crush would ever end up as more than a crush. When the two finally connect, sparks fly. Of course its not all puppies and unicorns for them, it wouldn't be a Manda book if it was. The suspense, the twists and turns and then the BIG twist at the end had me on the edge of my seat. I LOVED how she mixed in the FOG's in the book, it felt like I was reconnecting with old friends. This is one of Manda's best books to date. She gave us a story that not only introduces new characters in the Second Generation Series, but gave us glimpses of how the FOG's are doing and made them active characters. If only I could give it more than 5 stars!!

Another awesome MC read! I don’t know why I’m so addicted to MC books. Manda Mellett has written some of my favorite reads about MCs. These guys are big and bad but once that special person comes along you see a side of them you couldn’t even picture. This story definitely didn’t disappoint. We get to meet a child of one of the original MC members Peg. Noah aka Throttle is dark but sweet. He has his issues but he’s definitely a protector. He was made for the MC life. When his sisters childhood friend Gwen comes back around he feels nothing but a need to protect her. When someone seems to be stalking him he doubles his efforts to protect her. I definitely enjoyed his fall into love. When he definitely didn’t want it he found his other half. Gwen was extremely sweet and soft spoken. I found that they complemented each other well. I have enjoyed every book I have read by Manda Mellett let’s hope there are more to come.

Manda Mellett has done it again, making me fall in love with these characters over and over but in a unique way every time. I have been reading and following from the get go the Satan’s Devils MC series and they all are among one of my favorite MC series ever. Twisted Throttle is the third book in this branch, the second generation. We get to meet and love the kids of the originals we read before. I personally recommend that you start at the beginning so you can fall in love with this family and understand where they all come from. You won’t be disappointed you did I am sure.
Twisted Throttle brings us the story of Peg and Darcy’s, the OG Leader and his lady, son Throttle. Throttle is not a soft character. He is a rough around the edges leader and even rougher when it comes to matters of the heart. Usually he is the hit it and quit it guy until he meets Gwen. These two will have you on the edge of your seat waiting to see how the story will conclude. I loved every moment of it with these two and the family of side characters. I can’t wait to see what we will get next!

Pursuing a career in law she is working hard to pay off her debts. Then Throttle comes back into her life. The quote I chose for Gwen is: “You don’t need to do that. I can get a cab. Or…. Can you give me a lift back to my car?”
Noah, aka Throttle, is another kid who was born and raised in the MC. His dad being the ex-SAA of the club, but he's now a patched in member. When Gwen comes back into his life he starts seeing her differently. The quote I chose for Throttle is: “F no. She was Lisa’s best buddy for a while back in high school, but she never came to the compound so you wouldn’t remember her. I used to pull her pigtails. We caught up when I came in a week back. I hadn’t seen her for years before then.”
Highly recommended for MC Romantic lovers.

Noah aka Throttle is the enforcer of the club and he was the one Hawk went to when he wasn’t sure of who and what and what he had to do wasn’t easy , in any case Throttle is a rough diamond but he has heart ….
So big scary Throttle not only has to deal with a stalker , he also has to deal with a woman and matters of the heart and quite frankly I think the latter scares him more 😂
Now the Gwen he knew then and the Gwen he knows now has him on edge and she stirs feelings and things within him that he’s not ready for but wants if that makes sense …..
Throttle and Gwen have some serious chemistry going but that’s not all they have to deal with because add some crazy chick to the mix and we have a lot of action and when I tell you this bits is crazy I’m not joking , she really is a few beers short of a 6 pack !
I’ve enjoyed every book but Throttle had me on the edge of my seat , my heart palpitating and my nerves shattered ! A brilliant read !

I love Manda Mellett’s Satan’s Devils MC series and I was really looking forward to this book and I was definitely not disappointed. I was hooked from page one of ‘Twisted Throttle’ which focuses on Noah, who’s road name is Throttle and Gwen. Noah is in fact the son of Peg who was an original Satan’s Devils member and his Old Lady Darcy. Throttle is now a patched in member of the MC and the Clubs Enforcer, which is why it’s a surprise when someone starts stalking him. Then his sisters friend from high school Gwen starts working as a waitress at the clubs ‘Wheel Inn’ restaurant and bar, and although Throttle never noticed her before he definitely notices her now. He starts to rethink his ‘one night only’ rule but is not sure if he’s ready for an ‘Old Lady’ of his own. Meanwhile, things escalate with his stalker and go from gifts from an admirer to silent phone calls to something more dangerous, and when Gwen is put in danger Throttle knows he has to confront his crazy one night stand turned stalker. I could not put this book down and was gripped by the storyline and the plot twists kept me guessing until the last page. I loved Throttle and Gwen and their sizzling chemistry really came across in the narrative. The story was action packed and fast paced and as usual full of drama, suspense and or course romance. I am now impatiently waiting for the next Satan’s Devils MC book in the series.

Another great story from a wonderful author. This is Throttle and Gwen's story. Gwen is Throttle's sister's childhood friend. She has now started working at the restaurant that the club owns and that’s where she and throttle see each other for the first time in a while. Throttle finds himself attracted to Gwen but since he only does one night stands he will not be pursuing that attraction, or at least that's what he tells himself. There is some trouble that starts following Throttle and Gwen which means these two spending more time together. There were some twists and turns in this story that I didn't see coming. I could not put this book down once I started reading it. This author never disappoints and will always be at the top of my list. This is a must read as is all her books. I highly recommend this book.

Twisted Throttle (Satan’s Devils MC Second Generation #3) by Manda Mellett. This is one of my absolute favorite series ever and I love Manda Mellett. This book was no different. I loved it! Its Throttle's and Gwen's story. Throttle is Peg and his old lady's son and he's the club enforcer. Throttle runs into Gwen his sisters friend at The Wheel Inn a restaurant and bar run by the Satan's Devil's. Gwen is the new waitress there and Throttle had a crush on her in high school. He won't act on that attraction because he doesn't want to get all involved but when he learns Gwen has a stalker he realizes that he can't help but get involved. Soon after their feelings take over and neither can stay away from the other. Throttle has always been about one night stands and when one shows up with news it can destroy everything Gwen and he have built! Will the secret destroy their new relationship? This book will take you on a ride you don’t want to get off of!! This is Throttle and Gwen’s story.
Throttle is a manwhore and his parents are after him to settle down but he wants nothing to do with having an old lady. He is up front with all the ladies he is with and never goes back for more until Gwen then he wants it all.
Gwen is his sister best friend from high school who was is the foster system until she aged out and left for college. She comes back and is working in the legal field and she works part time at the clubs restaurant.
When one of he one night stands leads to her getting hurt, her home shot at and then a fire set to it. When they have a near death experience it brings them closer together.
There was one twist I didn’t see coming. Manda this is a great book can’t wait for more!!

I adored Gwen and Throttle, after everything they go through, they are a fab second chance couple, though they were never together to begin with.
They met as teens, Throttle, knowing he was going to stay in the MC, he never saw the quiet mouse like teen as someone to interest him. Years later Gwen takes on a second job, working for the MC restraunt and Throttle grows to see her sassy mouthy side, for those that knows her
I loved seeing the other couples and how they push in with opinions and jumped to help when Gwen needs them.
Gwens comment about Darcy being crafty and possibly her future mother in law, was spot on, (I wouldnt want to bet against her.)
I do wonder if those circumstances hadnt happened would they have gotten together, since Throttle was convinced he wanted to be single

Ok
I sometimes struggle with 2nd generation stories. I feel like the guys are often younger than the 1st generation. Throttle is not 24 , which is younger than I usually enjoy reading. I know he’s meant to be the forced and a “manwhore” but his age reads as young.
I do like his character and he shows a lot of growth. I love reading about the 1st generation and the world building around the club. I love stories that have a lot of club action and that take place in the clubhouse. The problem is that this is missing that partying vibe and missing the clubgirl drama because of all of the coupled up brothers. There were lots of new babies.
Also, I didn’t love the h. I didn’t dislike her, but she was blah. Their relationship was a slow burn, which can be hot, but this didn’t read that way.
So, I enjoyed a lot but it was slow in places.

Twisted Throttle is the third book in the Santa’s Devils MC Second Generation series by Manda Mellett. Manda Mellett is one of my go to authors. I have read all of the Satan’s Devils books and this one by far is my favorite. This book can be read as a standalone, or you could just read the Second Generation seiries, but I recommend you read all of the Satan’s Devils books because it will be well worth your time if you are a fan of MC’s. I am not going to give away any of this story. You have read the blurb, if that did grasp your attention, I don’t know what will. This story was filled with action, adventure, mystery, suspense and romance. It kept me up all night and I just had to write this review at 4:30 am. I have a feeling that this book and Throttle and Gwen will be on my mind through the week. Definitely a five star for me!!!
