Biased Summary
I have read and reviewed a number of summaries by this company, and I find them to be of variable quality. Unfortunately, I think this is one of the worst I've read. Not only are there errors of grammar, punctuation, and usage, the summarizer was not clear in distinguishing his voice from that of the original author, David Horowitz. As such, this book came across as very biased toward the right. I believe a summary should stay objective, but this one did not. The authors also added a new front section that didn't really do much for the book, and in fact, could have been easily combined with the next page as there really wasn't much content distinction between them aside from details. Despite these flaws, this book did assist in one function of a summary, namely helping me figure out whether I wanted to read the original book. The original seems to be a biased right-wing screed, and now, I have no intention of reading the original. If you've heard of this book and wanted to get the gist of it to help you make such a decision, this book might be helpful to you.
