The world was his for the taking. But it turns out all he wanted was me. Not that you’d know it by how he left all those years ago. He was my first love. My true love. But he turned his back on me. He never looked back. Now he’s here. Staring at me and the heart he left in pieces. Jack Miller. Seeing him used to excite me. Used to. I’m not happy he’s back. He destroyed me. Years might have passed but the anger I’ve lived with makes moving on difficult. I shouldn’t want to hear him out. I can’t allow him to hurt me a second time. But my heart and mind won’t come to terms. I don’t want to wonder if his kisses will make my pulse race again. We can’t go back in time to erase all that pain. And yet in all that anger, I can't get rid of an annoying little question in the back of my brain. Could we make it work this time? Author's This small town second chance romance is part of my Willa Creek series. All the books end in an HEA with no cliffhanger or cheating."
What started out as a sweetish small town second chance romance turned into a oddly unsettling tale for me. I love second Chance romances and I look forward to the reason the couple was parted in the first place, the ensuing groveling, and the forgiveness by the injured party. Jack’s reasons for ghosting Sam for four years were lame. He returned back for business and had no plans to even see her, but when he did, acted like nothing bad had passed between them. Sam had moved on making the best with what she had. Struggling with her little used bookstore, she seemed strong and smart. I was a little disappointed in the way she fell back into his arms almost immediately even though he barely said I’m sorry with very little explanation. Spoiler Alert: What sealed the deal for me and almost had me stop reading was when the author had Jack reveal that he knew the whole history with Curt and his discharge. This meant he allowed the woman he loved to be pursued and pestered by a sexual offender but didn’t tell her about it because he thought it was Curt’s right to privacy? What? When he revealed this tidbit AFTER rescuing Sam from assault and kidnapping complete with a high speed car chase. Sam wasn’t even phased, making excuses for him so he wouldn’t feel bad. In fact she thought better of him as though he was a man of integrity. There’s a big difference between confidentiality warning your loved ones to protect them from harm and from publicly outing someone to ruin them. The author created a pretty likeable and sweet couple who were sexually active before and after their reunion. Lots of steamy scenes that were written well. Too bad the Curt plot turned them into a couple I’d rather not have met.

There's no love like a second chance love and you'll love Jack and Sam's story. They were high school sweethearts and he left without a word but now he's back. The chemistry and love is still there but many questions remain. Why did he leave without a word? No shortage of family drama or twists, this is a cute story but we're left with a cliffhanger to be unveiled in the next book. Not sure what's up with this author, but the h in all her books are complete skanks. This is the second (third?) of these second chance books and the h clearly has reason to be angry, but still gives it up on the second meeting (not even a date). H says "I'm sorry" with no explanation, and the h, with absolutely no self-respect, just says "ok, let's have happy times" (I summarize). It gets 3 stars for proper grammar and punctuation and a storyline that's easy to follow. Plot is lacking and boring. DNF.
Four years! He left and she's been unable to move on. She was a grown woman, why not? That's what was on her mind when the object of her thoughts showed up next to her in the local diner.
They had been highschool lovers with plans to spend the rest of their lives together when he just left. She'd try to move on. She was angry no she was mad! How could he do that and then just show up?
He knew what he'd done and why. She just knew he'd left. Could he get her back? He'd never stopped loving her. The chemistry is still explosive. But is that enough? Things have changed in both of their lives. And...there is more keeping them apart.
I loved the two of them together, their hot chemistry hasn't changed except to get even hotter. The town is small-town nosy and match-making. Families are not silent. I loved the characters and their involvement. The intrigue and danger just pushed me on. You will need a fan and iced drink from the steam they create.
Although this is my first Reese Hart book it won't be the last.
This is an amazing book. Sam and Jack were high school sweethearts and were planning to spend the rest of their days together, then he just ups and leaves. She never left her town and never moved on, there was never another man like Jack. Then one day Jack is back and he has to see Sam. She does not want to give him any of her time. He explains what had happened. Jack is there to rescue her and the romance is rekindled. This is a wonderful book. I found the characters to be believable and very likable. I thought the book flowed really well. I really liked how even though many years past the feelings are still there.

This was such a great book! This is a new author for me and I will definitely be reading more! The storyline was very good and the characters were great! Jack and Sam really seemed like they were meant for each other! Such a sweet story but my heart broke for everything they went through! Plenty of action that really took you into the story! I loved this second chance romance about Jack and Samantha (or Sam). Jack left town four years ago and broke Sam’s heart in the process. Now he’s back and they have a chance to rekindle what was lost, but will Sam give him a chance? These characters are amazing, the writing is terrific, the storyline is awesome and throws in some surprises, and the steam is extra steamy. I LOVED this book!

What a wonderful beginning to what I hope is a new series!
A broken heart is hard to move on from, especially when you have no idea what happened to cause your love to leave without even a goodbye. When Jack comes back to town Sam is both happy and angry. Will they be able to overcome the past? Loved the story!
Finding You Again is as sweet as you would expect. This feel good second chance romance takes place in Willa Creek but stands alone just fine. Jack ghosted Samantha and left her with a broken heart and the determination to make it on her own. Now he’s back in town and has a lot of groveling to do. Delightfully sassy this book will leave you with a smile and a full heart.
Jack and Sam/Samantha were high school sweethearts until he up and left without explanation leaving Sam broken hearted. Four years he is back and she is not happy to see him again and wants nothing to do with him after the way he left her. This ends in a cliff hanger but the next book is on the way.
I LOVED, loved this novel. The plot, the characters, and setting it was a perfect read. So much so that I read it in one sitting. What did I love? Jack and Samantha and their perfectly woven, highly emotional, true to life, story. This is a new to me author and I cannot wait to read more from her.

An amazing well written second chance small town romance. This engaging storyline had me on the edge of my seat on an highly emotional rollercoaster. It includes danger, action, intrigue, forgiveness, and steam in a sweet heartwarming read. The characters are interesting and full of sizzling chemistry. I voluntarily read and reviewed this ARC.

But when he see Sam again he needs her to forgive him . Awesome story
This was my first read from this author. I absolutely loved the first person point of view-this is a deal breaker for me. The story about how one guy just up and went and now he's back. A good read and I will read more from this author.

This book had a pretty good storyline. The characters were well developed and I really liked Jack and Sam. The story moved a little fast for my taste though. There was not a whole lot of build up or anticipation between the characters that gets you really hard invested in a book. Overall though, it was a good book.
These characters are engaging and well developed with plenty of chemistry throughout the pages. The storyline is well written and developed. I was entertained throughout the pages.

I've read several books written by This author; she has done a great job at writing a good book; she is one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.
MMC left MFC (that he supposedly loved) without a goodbye or even a fuck you very much. MFC stays in home town wasting her life away. MMC returns . . and without an explanation, just an I'm sorry he has his hand up her skirt. The same day he sees her again, no less. NOPE!
3.5 stars Overall it’s a sweet small town about two high school sweethearts reunited after 4 years. Some drama with a villain from their pasts that is playing about about their present.
I enjoyed Jack & Sam's book. Good characters. It was a fun, entertaining second chance read. I received a free copy of the book. And am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.
