Falling in love was easy. Deciding what to do about it was a little more difficult. When Jack meets Helena at Tom’s party he knows straight away that she is the one for him, despite not being in a position to be thinking any such thing. Helena feels the same, he’s sure, but somehow things don’t go as planned. As a man of experience he knows he has to deal with it, but with colleagues Pete and Patricia becoming interested the situation gets complicated. Jack decides to turn things around, and a few months later they’re starting to improve. Then at another one of Tom’s parties, he meets up again with Helena and they start to look even better. But even though he knows exactly what he’s doing, Jack finds that getting to where he wants to be is more of a challenge than he had expected.
