Another great addition to the Legacy Systems series. I can't get enough of Zera and the many challenges that she faces. The twists that blindside me made this book interesting and a little unnerving too, but seeing Zera wing it all is pretty kickass.

The 'romance' between her and Shri is tastefully written as Zera is 17, and it doesn't distract from all the things I love about LitRPG. Their friendship is built on trust and affection that have both hoping for more in the future. I dig it!

I have my fingers crossed that there are more books to come!

Grrrr

It doesn’t really deserve 4 stars...but I did like some parts of it.

First, the proofreading is sub-par. This is your brand; do better.

Second, the MC continues to grow in power, but some of it was poorly explained.

Third, MC is told of how to get rid of parental controls and then fails to use the technique after using it once.

Lastly, there was just too much development and change. MC evolved, legacies evolved, new powers, new skills/abilities...and there was little that could actually stop her. It was uncontrolled and largely uncontrollable. Made for a bit of a boring narrative.

I will likely continue to read the series. It has an interesting concept in the parental controls.
