John Stewart story: 1⭐
Teen Lantern Story: 2⭐
Hal Jordan Story: 5⭐
So the John and Teen stories are pretty meh. The John one especially is pretty horrendous story and art-wise.
The Teen Lantern story was alright but I just don't care for that character in the slightest. It's the worst of a Bendis’ism'd character and I just can't get behind it. It would make a GREAT Young Adult graphic novel but it's just straight up dumb in this context. Also she's the exact same age as she was in Young Justice so I don't get how this is "Future State" related.
The Hal Jordan Story was probably the best Green Lantern story of Future State — and DC in general — of the last 2 years. Venditti just gets the character and it's a joy to read anything he writes. Dexter Soy is also a favourite of mine, and I'd love to see these two team up again in the future with a full story arc.

Not great. Art's pretty poor on the main story.

Seemed like the stories got better as they went along. Hal’s at the end was especially well done. I’m not going to even talk about the art for the John Stewart story though

The John Stewart story felt like it was out of the 90's and not in the good way. Everything from the art to the story just felt generic and boring. The Teen Lantern and Hal stories were good and the best part of this two issue series. It was disappointing to read a Green Lantern series and not get any "real" Green Lantern action.

All three stories were great, and the cliffhanger really got me. The only Green Lantern book I've ever subscribed to was Far Sector. I might have to change that.

not great
This didn’t tell a two part story. This used two issues to set up storylines. In these issues there are a total of five different plots presented and exactly zero wrap up in a satisfactory way. Furthermore, this doesn’t take any time establishing the story so far so it’s also a terrible jumping on point. Just all around not recommended.
