Get swept off your feet in the small town of Lucky Harbor with two second chance love stories from the fan-favorite series by New York Times bestselling author Jill Shalvis.
At Last Amy Michaels loves her new life in Lucky Harbor. A waitress in the local diner, she's looking forward to her first weekend hike through the mountains. But when a wrong turn takes her off the trail, she finds herself up close and personal with forest ranger Matt Bowers. And even though she's tempted to kiss that sexy smile right off his face, she won't make the mistake of getting involved with the town heartthrob. But after a hot night under a starry sky, neither can deny their attraction—nor the fact that for the first time in a long time, they feel the stirrings of something more. Bu as a man who doesn't let anyone get too close, will Matt be able to help Amy see past their pasts and to a future they can build together?
Forever and a Day With so many people depending on him, ER Doctor Josh Scott has no time for anything outside of his clinic and family—until Grace arrives in town looking to start a new life. What started as her working as his dog walker, Grace goes from caring for Josh’s loveable mutt to caring for his rambunctious kids after the day his nanny fails to show up. Soon Grace is playing house and turning his life inside out—giving a whole new meaning to the phrase “good bedside manner.” Josh and Grace don’t know if what they have can last. But in a town like Lucky Harbor, a lifetime of love starts with just one day…
Jill Shalvis is a NYT, USA Today, and Amazon Top 100 bestselling author of small-town romance and romcoms, known for big feels, found family, and plenty of shenanigans.
If you love small-town chaos, meddling friends and neighbors, sizzling chemistry, and heroes who fall hard for the one woman they absolutely did not plan on, you’re in the right place. Jill’s books blend laugh-out-loud moments with emotional gut punches, slow-burn tension, and deeply earned happily ever afters.
She writes the stories she loves to read: small-town romance and romantic comedies packed with heart, heat, second chances, grumpy/sunshine sparks, and the kind of found-family vibes that make you want to move right into the pages. Many of her series are perfect for binge-reading, and a number of her books are available in Kindle Unlimited and at major retailers.
When she’s not writing, she’s probably plotting new ways to torture her characters, avoiding laundry, or daydreaming about fictional men and the strong, complicated women who bring them to their knees—and then making them work for it.

This is a reprint of two books from her Lucky Harbor small town series: At Last and Forever and a Day. Thank you so much to @readforeverpub for sending me an early copy! Both books are definitely steamy with lots of tropey situations to please romance readers. There are several mentions of characters from previous books in the series, but I had no trouble following along. Here’s some highlights from the books:
-At Last offers a talented artist with a troubled past, a handsome park ranger haunted by his past career in law enforcement, lots of descriptions of gorgeous Pacific Northwest scenery, and a subplot of the two characters trying to help a teenage runaway and deal with shady people causing trouble in the forest.
-Forever and a Day features my favorite character, Grace, an unemployed accountant who ends up working as a nanny and dogwalker for Josh, an overworked doctor who is trying to balance doctoring, parenting, and keeping track of his troubled sister. I loved how Grace helped everyone in Josh’s family. Also, there is an adorably naughty pug!!!!
I would have liked more of a sense of the overall community beyond all the gorgeous 20-somethings that live there. Also, besides the forest and hiking trails, I didn’t get a good sense of what the town looked like. But that might be just because I haven’t read previous books.
Two of my favorite Lucky Harbor novels in one. What can beat that?
Amy and Matt in At Last were meant to be and the build-up of their relationship Lone had me completely on board with this book. It was definitely a hit, and digging further into their backstories really made it the book it becamre. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ with 🌶🌶
Forever and a Day with Josh and Grave is an all time favorite. I love everything about Josh, the single father, has to protect his sister, fix the world type of man. And man, did he need Grace. Grace with wanting to meet every expectation set by her family and trying to find herself, Grace with the heart of gold who juat can't say no to helping anyone out. They were the couple to beat. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ with 🌶🌶
