Chicago Blaze is Brenda Rothert's newest hockey series and it is so amazing! It just keeps getting better and better.
Book 1 & 2 of this series features fierce females and hero hockey studs whose hearts are as soft as their muscles are rock hard. The challenges they face are pretty big but the rewards are so worth it.
Having Anton & Mia and Luca & Abby all in one click is fabulous. Both books individually are 'un-put-downable' so having them both together in one book can be doubly dangerous. Just don't start reading too late into the evening because you'll be at war with yourself over how many hours of sleep you actually need.
After reading Anton and Luca I'm sure you'll definitely want to read on in the series. There is so much more to swoon and sweat - & shed a few tears - over!

Anton Petrov is captain of the Chicago Blaze hockey team. He is quiet, isn’t a party guy and his team mostly respects him. Mia is the only girl for him. Too bad she’s married to Anton’s teammate. Mia has left her husband because he’s abusive and she tries to stay under the wire. He won’t give Mia a divorce, demeans her any chance he gets. She lives with a girl and her son in their apartment and works tending bar at night.
Luca, Anton’s teammate, sees Abby and he is a goner. Sadly Abby only wants a one night stand. She is working hard building her furniture line across the states. Luca is raising his brother’s 3 children after Matt died in Afghanistan and his widow died from cancer almost a year ago. Abby isn’t looking for a commitment and neither is he. Both these books are good story telling. I gave it 5 stars.

I love hockey and I love this series and getting Anton and Luca in one box set is perfect for new readers to this wonderful series. Both of these books feature characters you will fall hard and fast for and their journeys are beautifully written.
I loved Anton and Luca and I have left more in-depth reviews on both of their individual stories. This box set is about two wonderful men who know what they want and are not afraid to go after it.
If you love sports romance or romance in general this box set should certainly be on your TBR list.

Get your tissues ladies
This is a great collection. Both books are sweet yet heartbreaking. I read Anton previously and its a good as it was several years ago.
Luca was a new to me read. He is trying his best raising his nieces and nephew when he meets Abby. She's build high walls around her heart but Luca and his family have a way of tearing them down. I would have liked to see Luca and Abby together as more of a couple though. It seemed they were more friends with benefits. This didn't stop me from crying at the epilogue.
Looking forward to reading the rest in the series

Good Strories
Both are good stories about two members of the Chicago Blaze hockey team. Each H meets their h under different circumstances and follows a different story line that way. Both are well written and edited. I knocked a star off because one thing they both had was each h felt she wasn't good enough for the H because of something in her past life she was hiding.

Great double story!
I love hockey stories. There is alway drama on and off the ice. The drama of this duo has you in tears, which is a good thing to me. Both stories pull your heart strings. I will be following Brenda Rothert and the Chicago Blaze players!

Teamwork
Both books in this collection are really good and well written. The first one, falling in love with your teammates wife and the 2nd one, a chance encounter turns into so much more. I highly recommend this series.

Meet cute
These two were a great way to kick off this series. Two easy reads, that aren't too heavy. Yes there's an emotional storyline in Luca, but nothing that gets too deep. All the characters stood out and these two hockey players we meet are what we all hope to have.

Hot hockey sticks
Anton and Lucas are hockey players for the blaze. Both of them meet their match and fall in love, With a few bumps in the road that will make you cry and laugh.. I can't wait to read the rest of series that Brenda has written.

Brenda has given us a world of hot hockey players from Anton to Luca you're going to fall in love with these stories. I personally keep wanting more stories from these fabulous characters.
