My father has kept me locked away in an ivory tower. I thought he wanted to protect me, but he only wanted to protect his asset. An untouched, sheltered mob princess is worth a lot of money to the right buyer.
My father's greed means Sicily is no longer big enough for him. I'm shipped across the Atlantic to Boston to marry a man I've never met, whose reputation for cruelty reaches as far as the shores of Sicily.
Milo Mazzeo is as dark as they come. He's a ruthless don with no morals, and he's about to become my husband. It's clear from the moment we meet that we have nothing in common.
Once we say I do, he tells me that I'm his possession. I must do whatever he says. I'm nothing more than a slave to tend to his every whim and need. If he thinks I'm going to accept my fate without a fight, he is mistaken.
I always expected to marry for love, but all I feel is hate toward this beautiful beast. They say there is a fine line between love and hate. Could the fire of hatred really twist into something more?
Cruel Daddy is the first book in the Boston Mafia Doms Series by Bianca Cole. This book has no cliffhangers and a happily ever after ending. This story has some dark themes, forced intimacy, hot scenes, violence, content some readers may find upsetting, and bad language. It features an over the top, twisted and possessive Italian crime boss.
Style: Dark Mafia Romance Story: 3/5 Enjoyment: 4/5 Dark Level: 3/5 Sexual Level: D.R.I.P(Don’t Read In Public)/Dark Triggers: Yes Violence: Yes Male: Sexy, Dominant & Controlling Series: Book 1 Pages: 227 Audio: N/A Kindle Unlimited: Yes
STORY: Soooooooooo...... this will not be for everyone. I’m new to this author with 3 books in. What to expect with her books, dirty sex, rough sex, dirty talk, dark intense alpha, vulnerable heroine mix with some mafia activity.
Cruel Daddy lived up to the title. Meeting Milo, I think he was an a**hole and jerk. He was cruel and his treatment of Aida was not the best in the beginning. I feel the focus on both Aida and Milo was very sexual,, but we got a bit of action in the beginning and towards the end. The climax of the story, the author gave us a bit more action. That was engaging because it was a rescue mission. Milo is dark, dominant and very intense. Aida seems sweet but very disobedient and is a spit fire. So you can just imagine the pull and tug between these two.
CHEMISTRY: The plot is not only dark but the sexual content as well. This was not your basic vanilla sex. Dark as in the way they were sexually, as dark for others could mean different things. Rough sex, dirty talk, force intimacy is included as this was in the realm of Dom/sub with controlling. I feel as though I have bruises on my body after reading this book. That’s how intense they get. This has BDSM adjacent content. So be warned and make sure you are ok with the sexual nature and content before diving in.
SECONDARY CHARACTERS Piero - I hope he is ok, didn’t know what happen to him after everything went down. He is Milo’s capo and right-hand man.
Malachy - I see he will be in book 2 Savage Daddy. After meeting him in book 1 and from the title of book 2, I’m nervous and worried for his female character. This should be interesting.
Gia - one of Aida’s best friend. To the author, are you going to do what I think you’re going to do with Gia? Smh, if you are, interesting to see how it will play out.
Overall, dark and could be sexually pleasing depending on the reader with a bit of action. Had a few raised eyebrow moments, but I was here for the ride and enjoyed it.
**Triggers: forced intimacy, dark sexual content, violence etc...
***I don’t equate these stories to real life. It’s about personal taste and what you would or want to tolerate with the books you read. I know we all have different opinions and preferences with what we read and hope this review was helpful.
I had to stop reading. It’s so badly written. Her pussy running down her thigh? Like really? That’s called prolapse girl!
Constantly repeating phrases. Sex scenes felt like they were written by a virgin guessing what it would be like. As for the attempt at mild bdsm...please research.
I don’t normally let loose on books but this just took the biscuit.
I actually hate kindle unlimited for providing me with this.
This was hilariously cringey. The whole daddy thing made me cringe. I honestly thought the daddy title was referring to her actual dad 😩 my mistake lol
But like all of these Mafia stories, once you start reading them you cannot stop!
Three stars for providing a tiny bit of depth that other lack. Real page turner
Honestly unimpressed with her writing style, and this is personal preference but enough to make me give it a 2.5 ⭐️. Very superficial writing, characters had no depth or storyline other than sex. No romance whatsoever. This really was just smut. And I’m disappointed because it’s not a novella either. Basically filler, smut, and Milo being a royal dick, I didn’t enjoy the dubious/non consent because of that.
I liked the story a lot. It is darkly delicious. Milo is absolutely easy to love to hate. He's a Grade-A something or other. After what happened with his mother and ex, he's definitely got some major walls built and a chip on his shoulders that's so big it makes the "Big Dig" that once plagued the city of Boston look like a minor mud puddle.
Aida has her heart destroyed by her father and his actions and inaction. It's hard to imagine anything more devastating long-term than that kind of betrayal and callousness. Add to where she lands and I found myself quickly hurting for her. I like that she acknowledges her own contradictions and her inability to deny her desires for long.
Things for Milo and Aida may be seriously steamy but they're also seriously messed up. He's fantastically dominating (which is also a turnoff on occasion) and loves to talk dirty. She yearns for things she shouldn't.
The wedding drama was quickly dropped in favor of chasing another rabbit down a different hole. Maybe it'll pop back up in a future book? Bianca Cole has been known to do that, even if it sparks a different series.
Speaking of a different series, did my imagination deceive me or is there a bestie knocking boots with a certain older man who's not to be discussed? Hmmm.... Another thing we'll have to see what comes of that nugget.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
This was an ok read. It isn’t really written the best. Somethings are inconsistent and one detail won’t match up a few pages later. Is it something I’ll remember or read again? Probably not. -mafia story -hot steamy bedroom scenes -daddy kink (without any type of aftercare or sweetness) -cold and cruel H -degradation and borderline abuse moments -being tied down -H often punished h for speaking out of turn, saying no, asking questions.
This H is really a jerk and it's truly hard to like him, honestly i don't think i ever liked him once in this whole book.. BUT from the title i already knew what i will find i just don't like how he treats her and how he thinks ... anyway all good after he falls for her.
2.75 ⭐️, I wanted to like this book but it didn’t just serve. No twists or plots, nothing interesting. Rating it that only because the smut was kinda good. Too plain for me
I don’t think I’ve read from this author before but I wanted to like this book. I am not one who likes to read about woman being treated with cruelty, who is dehumanized and demeaned for sport. I think if the author had given this male character any feelings or any redemption it would have made sense when his wife loves him even after nothing but cruelty. This story is about Milo and Aida. Aida is completely blindsided by her father (I use the word loosely) when he basically sells her off and tells her to move to Boston and marry Milo Mazzeo, a very cruel man. She refuses quietly but knowing it won’t matter. Milo is Don to the Boston Italian Mafia. He sees this marriage as a business deal and treats it as such. He treats her like a piece of meat. It’s heartbreaking to read how Milo treats Aida. His abuse is hard to read and his punishments for such ridiculous actions until Aida is almost broken. Her big heart, somehow, allows her to love this monster even though she is sure he will never love her in return. This part was hard to swallow. Finally, at the end of her rope, she decides to run but what a huge mistake that is. This book had cruelty for the sake of cruelty. I continued to read because I wanted the H to redeem himself. I admit to being too afraid to read the next book where the Savage Daddy likes to cut woman!

This book can contain triggers for some so beware! This was a really good book. Milo and Aida's story was filled with drama, hate, love, intrigue, action and suspense. Mila and Aida have a great connection and chemistry once the "hate" started to lessen and these two stop fighting their own feelings. I really enjoyed this book as it kept me hooked from the very beginning. I would recommend this book and I can't wait for the rest of the series.

It's a no from me (And also no rating) I don't understand how she fell in love with him? I don't get why he wants to be called daddy when he's anything but? The characters had zero chemistry. He was cruel just to be cruel. He wasn't given any significant amount of time to soften and give the heroine more than cruelty. It happened a little toward the end but I felt it was rushed.
The story about Aida and Milo starts as she is married off to Milo as a kind of business deal. She hates him, he wants to have a obedient and submissive wife. Their story is hot, dark, steamy as heck.😍😍 It made me feel all kind of things.... good bad and everything in between. Can't wait for the next story in this series 👍👍
This man is cruel. He's cold and unfeeling. The steamy scenes are rough. When Milo take her V card, it was savage. Afterall, he is only using her as hls little sl*t and to breed heirs.
Aida is the daughter of another powerfull mafia man in Sicilli. Sold as part of bussiness deal, this sheltered girl must face a monster who love to hurt her, both body and heart. But worse of all, he could break her to pieces if she let her self fall for his moment of tenderness. Run is the only option for Aida to survive.
Milo is dominant. He's a pushy and controlling. For me he is not a Dom. For the way he treat Aida, all the spankin may hot but the cold shoulder after it? He is living his title as cruel daddy. Not a Dom for me and i'm Glad Aida can see that too instead go bubbly eyes over him.
The rough steamy scenes definitly a turn on. İts good thing his back n forward with his feelings towars Aida doesn't goes too long cause he start to sound like a little girl with his feelings. For the plot, there's an ex that makes Milo worry at first. But then poof! She's gone with no story follow up? With the İrish, i need more than that. İ need more of the darkness from the mafia world. I like the fear Milo have for the suprise feelings he got from Aida. I like how uncapable Aida is to say no to HIM sexually yet she still have the head to know when to let go of HIM before her heart shatered. Although that dont end well. Milo needs frieds to trust. Cause mafia world and live as the Don is lonely and dangerous. He need more friend on his side.

It wasn't really my cup of tea. There were a ton of errors in her writing, missing text, repetitive issues, etc. I've read books in this genre before, and this one just missed the mark for me. The book was just all over the place, you think they will be in a war with one family, then they are literally forgotten, and they're in a war with someone else. Which is odd, cause I'm pretty sure the MOB wouldn't just forget that someone decided to shoot up your event.
There’s not a lot to like about this book. I tried, I really did. I even finished it so that I could say with a solid voice that yep, it was dumb. The plot is so flimsy and unbelievable that it was difficult to keep my eyes from rolling into the back of my head over and over. And really, I’m not sure there’s ever a reason to have someone call them daddy. That’s just gross.
Aida is told by her father that she will be moving to Boston and marrying Milo. Milo is a Don in the mafia and rumors are he is very cruel and Aida learns just how cruel he can be. What will happen when she falls for him. Fast-paced read with loads of drama, suspense and emotion. The chemistry is intense and dark and the story really draws you in. I loved it.
I’m sorry I hate dnfing but this is just I cannot, like I hate daddy kinks I think that they’re genuinely just nasty and this isn’t like a romance it’s just a bunch of abuse and rape combined with poor writing.
This is definitely a very intriguing dark mafia romance that has good world building with a well-written plot that is filled with suspenseful situations and/or events that are well-described. The characters are well developed and interesting with very unique personalities that are realistically flawed to a certain extent & are inclined to be devious with ulterior motives. It is about: a despicable father & Sicilian mob boss (Fabio Alteri) gives his daughter (a feisty young woman, Aida Alteri) in an arranged marriage to a cruel & brutal Italian mob boss (Milo Mazzeo) in Boston & he has devious plans in store for her. There is: various kinds of crime syndicates, action, twists & turns, intrigue, suspense, deceit, betrayal, secrets, threats, danger, enemies, abduction, violence, conflict, attacks, torture, brutality, defiance, discipline, punishments, humiliation, verbal abuse, hatred, anger, distrust, manipulations, jealousy, domination/submission, strange attractions, complications, emotional turmoil, compromises, explicit steamy scenes, love, happiness & a well-deserved satisfying epilogue. I enjoyed reading this mafia romance & would recommend it.
Sadly, this wasn't what I wanted. The setting was fine and I had high hopes for the dark tone of the romance between Aida and Milo. They were so boring. Milo was hot and cold in the most irritating way. His actions, including falling in love with Aida, made no sense to me. I cannot see how either of them fall for each other. Not even the sex scenes were doing it for me. It wasn't completely awful though, hence the two star rating.
I won't be continuing this series. I'll keep an open mind about reading more from this author but this series can go sleep with the fishes.
What a fantastic book Milo was such an alphamale jerk....but you cant help but love him!!! Aida is so tough and strong, yet she has a side that just wants to be loved!
This book had me in so many feels as i read it. Cant wait for book 2
I love this story. Milo and Aida are fantastic together. Their journey is dark, twisted, and spot on. The reason for four stars is the errors are a little annoying, and a few repetitive moments. Otherwise the story is five star worthy. I do recommend this book.
