All I Need

Right time. Right place. Perfect woman.

Can a leopard really change its spots?
Normally, I’d say there’s no way.
But then, she has been the exception to my rule from day one.

We weren’t supposed to see each other again.
We weren’t supposed to fan the spark into an inferno.

There’s no turning back now.

All I have to do is convince her of one thing: Right time. Right place. Right Man.

OH MY STARS! My heart! This book and duet broke me and put me back together. I adore Daisy so much! She just wants to help everyone and her heart is so pure. Rod, even for his jerkface ways in the first book, really stepped up to the plate in this one. To say there is a lot of heartache is an understatement but what I really adored is how they worked together in the long run because of their love. The fact that Rod was given such grief actually made it feel more real because after being hurt, that trust needs to rebuild and I think Justice nailed it perfectly.
There is a LOT that goes on in this book and there are some insane moments. But I think ultimately, this book is about love. Love for the one you want to spend your life with but also love for your family. My heart ached for Juliana so much but I adored how fierce she really is. How much Daisy wanted to help her even though there was a wait on it. How Rod protected everyone as much as he could. The second book in this duet really hits you hard with the feels and I couldn’t put it down once I started. I highly recommend this duet!

"They say love can change the world. in Rod's case, love did change his world. Rod, the self-proclaimed perennial bachelor now pines for everything that is Daisy. In book two, as secrets and unfolded and truths laid bare, we see the true coming together of a couple destined to be with each other. You can't help but cheer Juliana on with her fight for her life. Family is who you chose to be in that role, not necessarily who you were born to. I loved the whole of this story.

Rod and Daisy's story kept getting better in this book. Rod's sister Julianna has cancer. He is heartbroken to lose her like he did their mother. Daisy is a strong, compassionate woman with a heart of gold. She also has an impossible choice to make for her life. She is pregnant with Rod's baby and the perfect donor for Julianna. She will have to wait for the baby to be born. A heart wrenching story with wonderful characters.

All I Need is book 2 in The All Of Me Duet by A.D Justice. This is the conclusion of Daisy and Rod's story. This was such an emotional rollercoaster of feels and heat! Would they get their 2nd chance at romance, at love ? They both have scars/demons from their pasts that hamper them in the present and could prevent them from having a future , only if they let it. In book 2, we see how things changed and the journey was gone on - emotional and spiritual- after Rod(along with his sister and young niece)spent Christmas at Daisy's. Get ready for the intense emotions, hope, heartbreak, pain, feels, secrets, twists, chemistry, family, faith, friends, forgiveness , romance, love and a beautiful HEA. I hope that we get a story for Juliana. Overall, great ending on this duet.

My Rating: 4.5 stars *********

Rod wants a second chance, a chance to prove to Daisy he can be the man she and Landen deserve. But, is she willing to let him back into her heart, into their lives? She's understandably hesitant, but she's got such a caring heart that she can't help but invite Rod, Juliana and Isa to her parents' house for the holidays. Will this be where she gives him herself fully? When Daisy's faced with a horrible choice, will it bring her and Rod closer or be the final thing to sever what they've worked so hard for?

This conclusion was a rollercoaster! Daisy, Rod, Juliana, and co. went through so much, worked so hard to find the happiness everyone looks for. Rod worked hard at being the stable man Daisy and Landen needed. Daisy worked hard at opening herself up to Rod, and Juliana worked hard at keeping a positive outlook. I won't say if they all succeeded, but I will say I loved this conclusion. I loved how much both Rod and Daisy grew, and I loved the sweet epilogue.

Oh My Goodness! It’s Fantastic! All I Need is a perfect ending to Rod and Daisy’s beautiful love story! This is the second book in the All Of Me series; it's an intense and emotionally heartfelt story, that deals with true love, the power of forgiveness, hope, and the support of family and friends. You can't help to fall in love with these imperfect but very likable characters. You will laugh, cry, and pray, leaving you breathless, sometimes frustrated; but will also leave you happy and swooning. Oh, there are oops babies to spice things up.
A Happily-Ever-After is inevitable!

Rod is still fighting his demons, the loss of his mother, abandoned by his father, and raising his sister, Juliana (Little Bird). Later, he cares for his sister who has been diagnosed with cancer, and her young daughter, Isabelle. Family is always first but comes with a price of loneliness and stressful situations until Daisy finds a way to melt his heart.

Daisy carries the burden of what happened to her at a party eight years ago, resulting in the birth of her son, Landen. She hasn't told anyone the true story of what happened, not even her best friend, Tracy; until she confides in Rod. There is a twist you won't see coming that will solidify their relationship. Questions will finally be put in perspective regarding that awful night!

Daisy invites Rod, Juliana, Isa to spend Christmas with her parents, Landen, Marlee, her sister, and extended family in Florida. She's hoping to give them the love and acceptance of a large family since they’re a family of three. This will provide Rod time to take a well-needed break from the worry of Juliana's declining health. Nothing like family to bring love to those around you!
At Christmas, Daisy was given the results of being a bone marrow donor. She’s a match but won't be able to donate because she's pregnant. Will she able to choose between keeping her baby or saving Juliana's life? How will Rod take the news once he finds out Daisy is pregnant and could save his sister's life? Could there be something else that could save Juliana? There is so much more!
A love of my own, a home full of laughter, and our family: Rod, Daisy, Landen, and babies make five. Also, Juliana’s improving health and her reunion with her daughter, Isa! One big happy family!

AD Justice does such an incredible job of making you feel like a part of the story. You won't be disappointed!

Wow, the bigger they are the harder they do fall! All I Need is the second part of the All of Me duet by A.D. Justice. While Rod has always seems self-centered to those outside of his inner circle, deep in his heart he yearns for what he feels he can never have because he refuses to be like his father, the man who walked out on his family when his young daughter was ill. His playboy ways have served him well in the past, but when he met Daisy the game changed, though he tried his damnedest to drive her away. A tropical getaway was definitely a game changer but even Rod had no idea just how much the game would change.
So much happens in this book and the characters are alternately endearing and infuriating. Rod still has some issues with his communication skills, but his heart is firmly in love with Daisy, even if he doesn't understand concept well. Though he may not deserve anymore chances, Daisy invites Rod, his sister, and his niece to her parents' house for a big family Christmas, something none of them had ever experienced. Juliana's health being fragile, the holiday away gave them a sense of what having a big family is like. But bombshells are dropped and secrets are hidden to keep the holidays happy. Big decisions sit on Daisy's shoulder which could be life-altering on several fronts.
As in the first book, the love of family and the close-knit friends are central to the emotional well-being of the main characters. I love how Tracy and Kevin stand by their best friends and I hope there will be more of their story in a future book. Laden and Isabelle are scene and heart stealers and I loved Daisy's family and their welcoming of Rod's family into the fold.
Rod and Daisy still have the intense passion and chemistry from the first book but at least for Rod, it's maturing. He realizes that deep down he is nothing like his father and he longs to create a life with the woman he's fallen for. Daisy's past is revealed and the reader finds there is more to their relationship than even they know. Ms. Justice does an excellent job of dragging her readers through the emotional wringer and giving them a vested interest in the outcome of her characters. No matter how intense, heartbreaking, and emotional the story is, this author never fails to give the reader a satisfying HEA. The story is engaging, the characters intriguing and well defined, and the love story sexy and passionate. If you haven't met Rod and Daisy, grab this duet and hang on for the ride.

This is book two in The All Of Me Duet and it continues the story of Rod and Daisy and omg this book totally broke my heart and then put it back together. Rod's sister Juliana has cancer and he is devastated that he will loose his sister like he had his mother to his dreadful disease and when she asks him to be legal guardian to his niece Isabelle and Rod knew that he would do anything and everything for the both of them and it shows that money can't buy and make everything right. Daisy is shocked to find out that she is pregnant with Rod's baby but she is also a match for Juliana to have her home marrow transplant that could save her life but Daisy hasn't been able to tell anyone yet as she has now got to make a very difficult decision and how will Rod react when Daisy tells him. For and Daisy's chemistry and connection between them just gets stronger and stronger the more time that they spend together but will it be enough for them to get a chance of a happy ending when everything is revealed. Omg this story was absolutely amazing and so emotional that I couldn't stop crying with everything that they were all going through and I couldn't put it down as I had to see what would happen next for them all and it was a real page turner that had me on the edge of my seat throughout the whole story. Just remember that this is not a standalone book and you will need to read the first book so that you can get all the background history of this family. A. D. Justice is an amazing author and writer and I definitely recommend you read these books and you will not be disappointed as she certainly knows how to keep her reader's attention and her books are definitely worth reading.

Such a crazy ride getting to the end of Daisy and Rod’s story. It was incredibly emotional for a variety of reasons. When we last left Daisy and Rod, they had just headed off with Rod’s sister and niece, and Tracy and Kevin, to spend the holiday’s with Daisy’s family and Daisy had just gotten some shocking news that would have implications for more than just herself. Rod and her and at an impasse, and nothing was resolved with them. I enjoyed seeing how things turned out with all of them - it was emotional and came with quite a few twists and turns that I had not seen coming at all.

I struggled a bit with how to rate this one. I very much enjoyed it, but it almost had so much going on and so many interlinked things that were just too coincidental and it was a bit OTT for me, so it did give me a bit of a struggle when it came to rating the book. Definitely don’t want to spoil this - so I can’t be specific in those things that gave me pause, but suffice it to say that the first book is really about two people who have had experiences that cause them to be hesitant to open up and trust someone, and this second book was more about a multitude of other things.

But, if you like an emotional love story with angst that has a lot of depth, this is definitely for you and I highly recommend it!

Thank you to Booksprout for the advanced reader copy. I voluntarily left an honest review.

The second part of Daisy and Rod’ story begins right where the previous book left off, with Daisy finding out that she is the perfect donor for Jules, but that she will have to wait since she is pregnant with Rod’s baby.
Both characters will have to face their fears of the past and traumas, while falling more in love and coming together as one big happy family.
This duet has been a real 🎁, I ❤️ Daisy, she is sweet, caring, generous, but at the same time very strong and determined. I ❤️her backbone.

What will happen with Tracy and Kevin?
What will happen with Jules, Isabella and Gabriel?
I hope they get their own books so that I can read about them, and hopefully a little more about Rod and Daisy are doing as parents and their new charitable organization.

“Give me one more chance to prove myself to you. That’s all I need. You won’t regret it.”

“I want it all, Daisy—and you’re the only one who has ever made me feel this way. You make me want a life I’ve never dared to dream of having before now. I want to spend every day exploring the world with you, and the nights making love to every inch of your body. We’ll be best friends, lovers, and confidantes. We’ll share our most intimate secrets, our deepest desires, and our worst fears—so neither of us will have to face anything alone again. I’m not spouting empty words to trick you or feed you a line to get you back in my bed. If I can’t have this life with you, I won’t have it with anyone. You’re all I need.”

Since the first book left things up in the air, you know that you’re going to have to read this one in order to get answers as to how things turns out. The first chapter was hard to read because it hit close to home. It had me pondering my own mortality.

Rod has a lot going on in his life right now. Daisy tries to make light of her current situation. There’s the sense that our main characters are getting their happy. But at the back of my mind was that shoe thought.

Our author does a good job at showing that not everyone can be happy – even in a book that’s all fiction. She’s created something that tugs at the heart. That’s what had me turning the page – goes back to the connection I felt at the beginning. Add in that it revolves around a holiday and I’m stuck like glue.

The author doesn’t make a big deal of the holiday so you can read it at any time of year – or more than once. It’s just a great way to bring people together. It adds to that happy feeling I was having. There are just times when having a book that makes both you and the characters happy a good thing. She reminded me that the sad part of life is something that will not go away but love will always live on.

I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.

All I need is the conclusion of the Rod and Daisy duet and it can not be read without reading book 1. Rod has made mistakes and he just wants the chance to prove to Daisy that he can change. Daisy has a major decision to make that will change things drastically.
This book was a bit of a struggle for me in how I should rate it and I’ve had to take a few days to really think about it and digest this conclusion. The first part of the book, I felt moved rather slowly in time and then the second half of the book felt like it jumped too much in time too quickly, almost to where I felt it was rushed compared to the beginning. There was so much going on and it was a very emotional ride throughout the book as both Rod and Daisy deal with their pasts. A few surprises that helped with a better rating but a couple things that were rather predictable. One thing that started to work on my nerves was how often the author used the title in the story. Rod said it too much. The supporting characters of Tracy, Keith, and Juliana really added to the story and I do hope to see them in their own books. I felt like at times we had more focus on Isabella and that Landen wasn’t around, which didn’t make sense in several scenes. Overall, I enjoyed this conclusion of this emotional duet.

This is the 2nd and conclusion of the duet and Rod and Daisy’s story continues. These two are destined to be soulmates but they are both haunted by demons. Rod’s family comes first, and he cares for his sister Juliana who has cancer and her daughter Isabelle, but this leaves him lonely and vulnerable. Daisy has her own cross to bear, and has never told anyone about her horrific experience, and she invites Rod, Juliana, and Isabelle to spend Christmas with her and he extended family, hoping that they will give them the love and acceptance of a large family, as well as give Rod a much-needed break of carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders. No spoilers: this is a definite must-read duet you will not be disappointed! This is a beautifully written love story which is intense, emotionally charged, and with hope, family, friendships, twists, forgiveness, and love, which all leads to a humorous, witty, heartfelt, touching and moving story. I was completed enthralled throughout this tale and I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Oh my heart!

Finally! We get the rest of Rod and Daisy’s story. The first book left us with a HUGE cliffhanger. This final book nearly broke me, but AD Justice did an amazing job at putting me back together. Daisy is faced with one helluva dilemma. Keep her baby or save Julianna. It’s an impossible decision to make. Either way, someone is left heartbroken.

I loved everything about Daisy’s character. She’s got the biggest heart ever and just wants to help everyone. And Rod...well, Hot Rod has a huge heart hiding underneath all the pent up hurt and anger that he finally shows us in this story. To say the man steps up is the understatement of the year. Once he decides he’s all in, he takes to love like a duck to water. To see the growth this man goes through in this story just made me love him even more.

All I Need was one of my most anticipated stories this year so far. I couldn’t wait to find out what happened and AD Justice did not disappoint. This book is full of love, family, and so many emotions. Loved it!

What a beautiful and emotional ending to Rod and Daisy’s story. Have the tissues ready ladies, because A. D. Justice will take you on one emotional rollercoaster of a story! Rod is caring for his sister, who has been diagnosed with cancer and while also taking care of his niece. Daisy discovers she is a match, but she’s got a secret and a big decision to make. I loved learning more about Rod and Daisy, especially how their pasts shaped them into who they are today and how their pasts continue to affect them. From the start of the book until the end I was hooked and couldn’t put the book down until I was done. Their journey to HEA was truly a beautiful story with so much depth and emotion! I received an authors copy and I have left an honest review.

This was a 4.5⭐️ read
Book two of the duet and AD Justice did not disappoint.
This book picked up from when the last one ended. It was the perfect ending to Rod and Daisy’s love story.
This one showed the power of family and friends and how support from those you love can help overcome anything.
It also focussed on the need for forgiveness in order to move forward.
This was an emotionally and intense... but very heartfelt read.
It proved you don’t need to be perfect... just willing to stand by ad stick it out through good times and bad.
Well written, amazing characters.
A duet worth the read.
Definitely right time, right place... perfect couple.

Rod and Daisy have already been through a lot in book one so I was dying to see what would happen next and well buckle up as there is plenty more highs and lows as well as tough choices to go through. Learning more about their pasts will have you in tears as well as make you understand so much more about why both protect their hearts and why letting someone in means so much. This was just as emotional as the first first book in the duet, as well as left you wondering at times if these two could over come everything to be together even with the support of friends and family. Now that both books are out I can't wait to read them back to back!!

All I need is the perfect conclusion to Daisy and Rods story. But it was an emotional roller coaster of emotions to get there. Rod wants a second chance with Daisy, but she is reluctant at first because of his bachelor ways his whole life. Along with wanting a relationship with Daisy Rod is taking care of his sister who has cancer, and has taken temporary custody of his niece while her mom is sick. Daisy finds out the good news that she is a bone marrow match for Rods sister, and that she is also pregnant. But can’t do the bone marrow transplant while she is pregnant. Leaving her unsure of what the right decision is. This was a touching story that did have a hea!

All I Need is the second half of Rod & Daisys story. An all out emotional filled story. About two people getting a second chance at love, a whole family getting a second chance at life. A family who sticks by one another through all the bad and the good.

Rod is a protector and a fixer. But his world his upside down. Daisy, sweet wonderful Daisy. She’s probably one of the strongest characters I’ve read about in a long time. There story is full of emotions, I cried, I laughed, I even got ticked off. But in the end I was in love with these characters.

A.D. Justice continues to be an automatic one click author for me. Her talent fills these pages. Highly recommended.

If you adore when a couple that should be together and is not could have another go at it. Then you are in for a good one because this is for you. Rod knows what he wants and needs but now he has to get Daisy back on track. You also know there will have to be forgiveness and that can happen with love. Time is spent too with the answers coming to light. Oh and Daisy could be a factor if she wasn't pregnant to help Juliana. All the ups and downs and sideways this goes with this bringing forth different emotions. That is key to a fabulous read that will rip you and put you back together. So this one was a flipping the pages read.

Great love story. There is great loss, trauma, and serious heartbreak. Rod is very single-minded when it comes to his sister and nieces. They understandably take priority over all at the expense of everything else in his life. Daisy makes that a lot more complicated. I loved watching Rod learn to have a real relationship with Daisy. They both had to emotionally relive some traumas from the past. I really love his new perspective that he tells her after he talks to the homeless man. Daisy has some very tough choices to make along the way. They are so great together.

All I need is right in front of me and I got scared!!! All I need is for her to give us another chance. A chance to love each other and our family. This is book number two with Rid and Daisy after All I Want. A beautiful story of two hard headed people who fight tooth and nail for love. Along with some big surprises good and bad. Like a pregnancy, cancer , isolation and bone marrow from who? Once again Daisy and Rod thru A.D Justice words have a beautiful love story. Loving your family the way it is . To building it stronger everyday. Finding forgiveness to love your life. A love story of Rod and Daisy.

This story is the conclusion of Rod and Daisy love affair and what a story they have to tell! I was always told be kind to people because you never know what the future holds, and that is absolutely the way this story goes!

Rod was at the right place at the right time, he just didn't know how it would affect his future. Him and Daisy were perfect for each other, but they had quite the road to get to their happily ever after.

This was an emotional story (I'm not a fan of the illness that took place and normally I quit reading stories that have this in it, but I trusted that the author wouldn't make me heartbroken) with a happy ending.

OMG! Must read!

First things first. I'm a huge fan of A.D. Justice and her books. That being said I am not biased and if she wrote a book I didn't like I would say so. However, this story is NOT it! I was completely captivated by the story from the moment I read "All I Want." (Read that book first) Rod and Daisy's story comes with grief, struggles, but pure joy as well. The only thing I would say was wrong with the story is that it's a cordocentesis that determines whether or not the cord blood would match for Julianna, but amniocentesis is easier because more people know what an amnio is. Still LOVE this story. Mahoe....😂🤣😂🤣

Not Good

Worse than book 1. The story was bad and the dialogue was atrocious. Also, the MC’s BFF is black. How many times did this author unnecessarily throw in stupid aggressions another the family of the ONLY black people in her book? They are written as super aggressive and hateful towards white people and have cut off her daughter because she has a white friend???? And that had NOTHING to do with the story line. Then it’s added in the last 5 chapters that their daughter is an ADA (she was in PR in book 1 btw) because her black family doesn’t want her “prosecuting people”. 🤔 What in the hell is this!! Stay away from this author!

This second book and conclusion of Rod and Daisy's story. It is heartbreaking at times and at times it was heartwarming. He has suffered some terrible loses early in his life that has left him pushing everyone away but his sister Juliana and her daughter Isa. Daisy is a strong woman having suffered being beaten and raped in college which resulted in a pregnancy with her son Landen which she loves with all her heart. Loved how they worked through their struggles to find a loving relationship with each other that was so precious and perfect.

I enjoyed the story of Rod and Daisy from the very beginning. They have been through so
Much during this short period of time knowing eachother that it makes you wonder, is it even worth it for them to try to just to move on. This book brought a lot of answers to many questions myself as a reader was wondering. There’s a lot going on but the author did not overload the reader. She gave just enough. I’d love to go into detail however I cannot due to spoilers. Amazing book though. If you haven’t read book 1 or book 2, grab your copies today!!!
