Shiana and Rudra - two shells of the same sea traversing the shore of fate one wave at a time.
Two successful entrepreneurs set off on a journey to fulfill their dreams holding hands with ambition and each other. As they struggle to find their way to the paradise of success and soul, they realize the need to be together even more whilst being on a quest to find the individual greatness within.
Will Rudra’s abstract interior give flight to Shiana’s duality? Or will they never see the light at the end of the cave?
The story of two lovers entwined between desire, ambition, discovery, and kismet - will they find their way home to the corals at all?
It's a very short read but an interesting one worth the time. The story of an entrepreneur couple Rudra and Shiana who run a travel newspaper and very much in love with each other and their passion project.
Rudra loves to travel and Shiana wants nothing but to support him although she's afraid of flying. One final trip to African forest might be the end of their tunnel but will they survive to see what's ahead for them?
As I said, it's a very short read and I'm only guessing that the author will write more, because the end card doesn't actually work this way. Brownie points to the author for his detailed description of the journey from Bangalore to Botswana and the wildlife and adventure they experience. One can imagine through his words and it was captivating.
“Mo’orea is known for its picturesque sandy beaches, rainforest hiking trails, and volcanic mountains”.
The waves come calling is a 23 page read. It’s a story about Shiana and Rudra who are madly in love with each other and run a travel newspaper together. They leave to Mo’orea for a quick getaway before their marriage but something life changing happens to them. It’s a nerve chilling story which will make you want to know what happens next. It’s a short romantic thriller with good detailing about the couple’s relationship and adventures they undertake.
'The Waves Come Calling' is a short novella with dramatic twists and turns. It features the story of two young entrepreneurs with a passion for traveling, madly in love with each other. It's mostly set in the backdrop of Bangalore, Botswana and the scenic beauty of Mo'orea island.
Within a meagre space of 23 pages, a substantial part of their relationship was covered. Unavoidably, the story became crowded. Plain, insipid narration and predictable ending of the book didn't help either. But I liked the breathtaking account of the places they traveled together.
'The Waves Come Calling' is a romantic thriller with good plotline, excellent travel destinations and great potential. It's available on Kindle Unimited.
Will love find its way behind beaming screens? Or will success cost emotions and feelings?
The Waves come calling is a sentimental and mysterious short novel. It is the perfect example of hybridization in literature and works harmoniously with every aspect of human sentiments. An elegantly composed work by Nikhil Chandwani, it is a smooth drawing that leaves a mark for long.
The plot revolves between India (Banglore and Hyderbad), Africa (Botswana) and Mo'orea Island in French Polynesia. With the protagonist heroes being Shiana - an architect for a product organization and Rudra-an essayist for backwoods-based travel shows with a totally energetic spirit about adventure, travel and wander. The book itself sparks with a fresh beam, with such contrasting characters. The patriarchal pattern of gender inclinations has also been challenged here. Together, the two make a bloom on the web, with a sunrise news media stage all devoted to travel: TravelGramNow.
For all the wanderlust believers, what better than a novel that takes you places, so you can breathe in that air?
The Story is an extraordinary compilation of scenic imageries. Those of rich and captivating spots, described perfectly; from pleasant sandy sea shores, rainforest climbing trails to volcanic mountains and sea beds, to Opunohu Bay. The book, is a staggering and energizing work of adoration, expectation and experience. It touches upon exquisite language and sentiments of human life. It becomes more relevant, as and when the two protagonists struggle to find their way to success and understand the sayings of the soul. But, will our lovers realize the need to be together and embrace Interpersonal relationships?
The book makes readers, escape in the mystical inception of bonds, that help humans grow together, while being the best version of yourself. To elope with the beauty of nature, this, is a must pick and read. This book takes you on a quest to find the individual greatness within.
The work concludes while leaving the readers in an awe and in love with nature. It also stands as a romanticism between man, nature, and fate.
What shall this love cost? Success? Emotions? Sanity? Who knows? Read ahead and find out yourself!
The waves came calling is a short book about Rudra and Shiana , who are absolutely in love with each other and engaged.
When they both first met Shiana was an engineer for a software company and Rudra was a writer for forest-based travel shows. Rudra's character have been portrayed as someone who's ready to take risks, who love exploring new places whereas Shiana is someone who's really worried and wants to be extra cautious. The couple now runs a travel-based online platform called TravelGramNow , so that they can merge their interest and work together.
Before the couple gets married Rudra plans a trip for them to Mo'orre which is an island, who's beauty is perfectly described by the author. The author's description about the place really makes you feel like you're there enjoying the greenery and the beauty of the place which is commendable.
But will this story be complete without the twists and turns? Will the couple get their happy ending?
To know the answers to what really happens further in the story you should definitely pick up this book.
I personally found the storyline to be really very interesting and unique but the ending was something which really left me questioning as to what exactly happened. The writing style was lucid and easy to understand. All the places, incidents written in the book are well described and really makes you feel like you are living there in that moment yourself. The suspense factor of the book will definitely keep you hooked to itself. The book is a short read with just 25 pages to it which makes it a perfect in between work kind of a book. I absolutely love that cover which will make more sense when you read the book yourself.
Overall it was a great one time read for me. If you're a new reader or someone who's looking for a quick full of thrill kind of a book then this one is for you. And other than this the author also have more books which I would love to check out.

QOTD: Are you an adventurous person?
''The Waves Come Calling" by Nikhil Chandwani. This is a short yet book that I am so amazed to read. The reason is the story and the writing, which are so beautiful. This book is about Shiana and Rudra, who are in love with each other. They are going to get married in 2 months. Rudra is a very adventurous person whereas Shiana is a very non-adventurous person (just like me and I don't know who will be my Rudra 😂) So they went for a vacation before their wedding then on the third day of the trip something tragedic happens. That changes everything. So one day, Shiana wants to sell Rudra's and her company ''TravelGramNow." But why is she doing that? To know that, you need to read the book. . This is a concise read, and I liked the story, and the characters were so beautiful though this is a one-sitting read for me, I somehow connected to all the characters and loved reading this book because of the beautiful writing and the kind of theme that this book has been revolving around. The language is simple, so why wait? Just go for it.

Do you love romance with a dash of suspense and tension? Then this is a perfect quick read for you.
This book, The Waves Come Calling by Nikhil Chandwani is a great fusion between mystery and love story. It's a love story of Rudra and Shiana who went on a trip two months before their wedding and who owned a travel magazine named TravelGramNow. Rudra has planned to write a major article for their magazine through this trip- a trip which was going to be one of the greatest memories of their life. With a good constructive description, the excitement and the love were equally floating in the air, but there were some major bumps waiting for the couple along the journey. The book tends to combine more of a romantic plot line with all the intrigue and drama of suspense near the climax, however I wish it should have been a little justified near the end. But considering the short length of the novella, it's like a delightful short movie rendered on the page.
If you like a short romantic but, intriguing plot with a side of swoon, or would like to get out of the reading slump, this adventurous novella will be a good pick!
The Waves come calling is a romantic and mystical short novel, absolutely well written by Nikhil Chandwani with a smooth, engaging and exiting style. The story is set between India (Banglore and Hyderbad), Africa (Botswana) and Mo’orea Island in French Polynesia. The protagonists of the story are Shiana an engineer for a software company and Rudra a writer for forest-based travel shows and adventurer completely passionate about travel, exploration and adventure. Together they create a thriving online news media platform all dedicated to travel: TravelGramNow. The Story is rich of wonderful and enchanted places... impeccably described...from picturesque sandy beaches, rainforest hiking trails to volcanic mountains and seabeds until Opunohu Bay. The waves come calling is an incredible and exciting story of love, hope and adventure. Nikhil Chandwani use a smooth and elegant language full of descriptions of places and feelings. I strongly suggest reading this short but excited story very touching
The Waves Come Calling is a shortest story I have ever read. The book is just about 23 pages and when I started I didn't have many expectations from it. But the book is brimmed with thrill!! It is the story of Shiana and Rudra, two people who fell head over heels for each other and being travel enthusiasts they quit their jobs to create a news media platform all about travel. One fine day before the wedding they decided to go on a trip to Mo'orea Island. I'm so mesmerized by the beauty of that place because of the way author has described it. The thrill and the adventures were so enchanting. But life is not the same all the time and an unfortunate incident occurs at the place! Now to know what life has in store for them you definitely ought to read the book!! I recommend it to short story lovers and people who are in a slump because its definitely gonna get you out of it!! The writing style is uncomplicated hence recommended to everyone specially beginners and the cover is so apt! .
The Waves Came Calling - a short book based on Rudra and Shiana's love story. It is a romance thriller which makes the book quiet interesting.
The book is only 23 pages short book and is about Rudra and Shiana who are into each other and they left their jobs to start their own travel based online platform.
Rudra's character mind blowing, he's ready to face any situation and is always keen in exploring different places whilst Shiana is opposite to him.
Rudra plans a trip to Mo'orre which is an island before marriage. What happens next? What happens to their love life? Will the story be complete? Will they meet a happy ending? To know more, grab the book and read.
The story line was perfect, language was lucid. It was an open ending the author left us to imagine. It was a quick read and was fast paced and can be read in a single attempt. If you're looking for a short read you can definitely pick this book.
It's one of the best romance thriller. It's about a couple- shiana and Rudra who falls in love and just before their eve of marriage, they packed up for a excursion where a tradegy awaits.
The book is short and elegant - just 23 pages. It has been formatted well. The language is lucid and simple. What I liked was the beginning 2 pages and the ending para. That's where I really felt like being in that scene. The middle part was okay-okay. Not too good. Not too bad. The story was very predictable and the author gave clues to the ending climax in the middle part. And I think that's the point where readers may lose their interest as the climax is already known. So it's always better to make it a suspense.
The Waves Voming Calling is a very interesting romance thriller. The book tells the Story of two ambitious travel lovers Shiana and Rudra, who fell in love and left their jobs to open a news media start up that deals with travel. Before their wedding they decided to visit Mo'oera Island. But life had some shocking events in store of them. I loved how the author described the characters, the events and the places the protagonists visits. It was fun imagining those through the author's words. I was a bit disappointed as the climax was quite predictable but overall it was a great read. I really wished the book was longer. This book barely takes 45mins to read, so if you like a short refreshing read I would surely recommend you to pick this.
One of the Best Romantic Suspense Books Ever! Started the book thinking it was another normal boring book but after reading 10 pages the story really became really very interesting, even the places were real and I was lost in my world of imagination while reading this book. The suspense which was kept till the end of the book was really the game-changer, awesome! The author has really done a great job, would definitely love to read more books from the author.
