Cammie Parker is ready for a fresh start.

Just because she didn’t get her own happy ending, doesn’t mean she’s any less committed to helping other couples find theirs. And a new job with the event coordinator at a gorgeous mountain resort is the perfect way to do just that. It would be the perfect fresh start if not for her first assignment: helping her cheating jerk of an ex and his new fiancée plan their wedding.

Cade Taylor needs to shake things up.

There’s nothing wrong with loving what you do, but when your job becomes your whole life, something’s got to give. Cade knows he’s in a rut, but he just can’t seem to break out of it no matter what he does. When Cammie shows up in one of his equipment sheds looking like she needs a quick escape, Cade sees the perfect opportunity to put a little bit of excitement back in his life.

What starts out as a way to avoid her ex soon turns into a crazy—and sexy—game of hide and seek. But you can only hide for so long, especially if you want a real shot at your own happy ever after.

This was a relatively short book that was filled with fun. You have an event planner who is forced to start running and finding places to hide on the property when her ex-fiance and his new soon to be bride decide to have their wedding there. They keep showing up and Cammie keeps dashing in places to hide...and the groundskeeper keeps following her. Cade is a hunk from her past and has a thing for the current Cammie. Sweet romance!

The audio version of this was narrated by Kathryn Lynhurst. I'll admit that I had to speed it up in order to listen to it.

I was gifted a copy of this book via NetGalley. All thoughts are my own.

After catching her fiance cheating on her, Cammie Parker moves back to the town she grew up in, taking a job as an event coordinator at a mountain resort. It is just the fresh start she needs, except for one problem – her ex-fiance and the woman he cheated with are now engaged and planning a wedding at Cammie's resort. Not ready to see them, Cammie dashes off and hides in an equipment shed. Cade Taylor is drawn to the gorgeous woman who comes crashing into his equipment shed. Soon, Cammie hiding is as much about seeing Cade as it is hiding from her ex. Maybe Cammie and Cade can find their own happily ever after together.

Kathryn Lynhurst did an excellent job narrating this audiobook. This is the fifth book in Samantha Chase's Enchanted Bridal series but can easily be read as a standalone. This is a quick, fun read where the good guys are all good and the bad guys are all bad. I do wish the book had been a little longer so we could get to know the characters better. The resort Cammie and Cade work at sounds so beautiful; I wish it were real so I could visit!

Many thanks to NetGalley for providing me an audio ARC of this book.

Come out, come out, wherever you are! Bride & Seek will overheat your summer!

Posted on June 20, 2021 by michellelovatosbookreviews, world's first book color commentator, book reviews with a twist

Just what I needed. Another sappy summer love story. No. Really. It’s just what I needed.
Bride and Seek, Book 4 in the Enchanted Bridal series by Samantha Chase, is narrated by Kathryn Lynhurst, and for me, was the perfect companion for me to enjoy during this week’s Southern California heatwave. Though things between this couple were getting hot, hot, hotter, the mild cool resort air surrounding their gorgeous mountain workplace was enough to settle even the most overheated heart.
Our main character is Cammie, who is, as usual, is a jilted former bride who returns home to the mountains of the east coast to restart her life after she walks in on her former fiance having sex with the boss’ daughter in North Carolina. Now, six months later, after finally finding a new home, new lifestyle, and new place to use her college hospitality degree, Cammie is confronted with her former fiance and the tramp sex partner/girlfriend/new fiance, who insist on holding their upcoming wedding and reception at the resort where Cammie is on the event planning team.
Watch Cammie run. And curse like a sailor. But never fear. Cammie runs right into the hottest man she’s ever known and finds herself speechless by his sexy demeanor. And even better, this hotty, who has a name – Cade, is head-over-heels for Cammie as well. (Why is this NOT sexual harassment? I’m just saying.”
I must be getting old, but it seems like young people boil over awfully fast these days – and in public places. Where are the good ol’ fashioned values? Anyway, Bride and Seek is a fast, formulaic read that will hold any reader’s attention from start to finish.
Grab a very large glass of water, iced tea, or whatever imbibement you desire and hit ‘Play’ on this romantic audiobook story. Your vacation drive will fly by. Your work commute or your afternoon of daydreaming at the beach will force you to blast the air conditioning or dunk yourself underwater. Regardless of how you ingest this fun little fantasy, it will be well worthwhile.

Samantha Chase has delivered another wonderful romance with Bride and Seek, the fifth book in her Enchanted Bridal series. I think that Bride and Seek was my favorite book in the series.
Samantha Chase has once again provided her readers with amazing characters. I love that all the characters in Bride and Seek feel like best friends! Who doesn't love hot sexy men, strong, passionate females, and loving friends, who always support one another? Samantha Chase continues to deliver all that and so much more. I really enjoyed Bride and Seek and all the books in the Enchanted Bridal series. I have read other books by Samantha Chase and have always enjoyed her wonderfully written love stories. Samantha Chase has once again shown that she is an amazing storyteller. Bride and Seek did not disappoint, I could not put it down and loved every page. One of my favorite parts is how Samantha Chase incorporated the title of the book into the love story. I enjoy how Samantha Chase writes from the perspective of the main characters. That way you get to know what is going on in each of their minds. Bride and Seek is a wonderful love at first sight love story and is filled with heartbreaking and heartwarming moments. I love the lighter moments where I find myself smiling and laughing out loud and the bittersweet moments that cause me to sigh, say aww to myself with tears filling my eyes. Bride and Seek be filled with such moments, and with so much more. It is filled with all those things that we have come to love and expect in a Samantha Chase love story, especially the poignant and bittersweet moments that filled this page turner. Bride and Seek is the story of Cammie Parker, Hailey’s former assistant at Enchanted Bridal, and Cade Taylor, manager of the Emerald Grove Resort grounds. Cammie leaves Raleigh and Enchanted Bridal after she caught her fiancé, Preston Cameron cheating on her with the boss’s daughter, Whitney van Wilkinson. Cammie returns home to Emerald Grove and finds a job as an event coordinator at the Emerald Grove Resort. Cammie learns that Whitney and Preston decide to have their wedding at the Emerald Grove Resort. Cammie does everything in her power to avoid seeing Whitney and Preston with the help of her boss, Dixie and co-worker Anna May. Cammie leaves the office and runs into what appears to be an empty shed, except that it is not. Cade is in the shed, and Cammie has not seen her high school crush since she was a sophomore in high school and he was a senior. As Cammie continues to hide from Whitney and Preston, she keeps running into Cade, and they make a game of it. I love the flirty relationship between Cammie and Cade. While playing hide and seek together, and spending more time with one another, things change between them. I love when both Cammie and Cade get real with their true feelings for one another and open up to one another. I love that Cammie and Cade showed their vulnerable side. I love the plot twists and how that changes everything for Cammie and Cade. My favorite part of the story is when Cammie finally confronts Whitney and Preston, instead of running away, with Cade at her side and how the truth finally comes out about what really happened. My favorite part was the first epilogue and how it goes above and beyond the normal happily ever after. I especially love the proposal and everything that Cade did to make Cammie’s dreams come true. I love the second epilogue and how it introduces the new series Meet Me at the Altar, with the characters that were introduced during the bridal expo that Cammie coordinated at the Emerald Grove Resort. I also really enjoyed catching up with the characters in the Enchanted Bridal series, it felt like getting together with close friends. Bride and Seek contains all the things that I have come to love most in a Samantha Chace story, romance, great characters and setting, bittersweet moments and the plot twist that ties it all together. Amazing story. I could not put it down. Highly recommend this wonderful romance.

Bride & Seek is a charming romance about a couple who needs some laughter and romance! Samantha Chase writes an engaging, romantic story for Cammie Walker and Cade Taylor. Who wouldn’t want to read a novel about a couple that meets in a tool shed?
A broken engagement is a blessing in disguise for Cammie as she is able to pursue an opportunity of a lifetime. She’s just started her dream job as an event coordinator at the luxurious Emerald Grove resort. Everything seems to going her way until her ex -fiancé and his future wife show up and book their wedding at Emerald Grove! Grounds manager Cade Taylor is surprised to find Cammie hiding in his shed and sweetly offers to help her if she needed another hiding spot. I loved the immediate attraction between the couple and their teasing banter!
Samantha Chase employs the children’s game of hide and seek to draw the reader into the novel. I felt for Cammie; brokenhearted she left her friends and her job for a fresh start. Loved how she regained her self-confidence as the story unfolded. I could understand Cade--he’s put so much time and energy into his job that he’s has no social life. It was so much fun to read the couples hide and seek adventures and to watch their romance develop.
Bride and Seek is well written and engaging. The storyline is fun and the dialogue is fantastic. Loved how the couple’s flirty banter and sense of fun brought them together— this made it an enjoyable read for me.
If you are looking for a heartwarming, feel good romance—Bride & Seek is the perfect book for you!
I enjoyed Samantha Chase’s Enchanted Bridal series and am looking forward to The Engagement Embargo—part of her new Meet Me at the Alter series.

I like stories centered around wedding businesses. As a college student, I worked as a bridal consultant. I had never read this series before, but it apparently includes another installment that focuses on a bridal salon. I will read that one soon.
This was a fun romance. Yes, it was predictable, but it was also very sweet. I enjoyed the setting and the characters. The characters are in the late 20s to early 30s age group. The narrative includes limited adult language, and there are no erotic sex scenes. I also appreciate that, while this is a contemporary romance set in what appears to be present day, technology does not play a role in this story at all. The characters are not always on their phones, texting, or posting on social media. Thank you, Samantha Chase! That is worth at least a half a star. The author does not use pop culture references either. She effectively creates her own situation and atmosphere as well as natural dialogue that occurs face-to-face rather than through the ether.
At one point, the main character confronts her ex-fiance and his new bride-to-be. It was beautiful! Probably everybody had a special someone in their life at one time or another that they would have liked to confront like this. What an excellent scene.
I'm not fond of romantic couples having names that make them sound like fraternal twins, but that is a small complaint. Cammie and Cade. Is Cade short for Kincaid? I don't even know. Oh, well. It's an enjoyable romantic read.
Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Bride and Seek by Samantha Chase, book four in her Enchanted Bride series, is a story, bridging into her new and upcoming series.. Cammie Parker is in need of a major change, leaving Raleigh to return home to Emerald Grove and work as an event planner at the newly remodeled mountain resort. A fresh start is just what she needed until her first assignment was to help her cheating jerk ex and his new fiancée plan their wedding. Not if she could help it. Cade Taylor was in a rut; he loved his job but it had become his entire life. When Cammie appears in one of his equipment sheds, looking for a quick escape and an outlet to vent, Cade realizes the perfect opportunity for some excitement just dropped into his lap; so to speak. What began as a way to avoid her ex and his crazy fiancée turns into a crazy, sexy game of hide and seek with Cammie and Cade stealing kisses as they stayed out of site. These two shared some off the chart chemistry as their attraction became magnetic, drawing them together and together until they start reaching for their own happy ever after.

Ms. Chase wrote a wonderful and heartwarming story that is not to be missed. She provided a tale rich with sizzling chemistry, amusing banter, and endearing secondary characters giving Cammie and Cade a chance at time together, love and the possibility of a forever together. I highly recommend Bride and Seek to other readers.

I received an advanced audio copy Bride & Seek by Samantha Chase via the publisher Dreamscape Media via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

What It’s About: Cammie Parker needs a new start when her engagement is busted by her ex’s cheating. She moves home and starts a new job as an event coordinator at a mountain resort working on other weddings. Then her ex and his new fiancée (the girl he cheated on her with), have decided this is the place to have their wedding and Cammie is hiding, when she runs into Cade, the gardener, and he figures out what she’s doing, he decides to help her and so begins a v sexy game of hide and seek.

What I Loved: This book does perfectly what it is meant to do. It is a cute little escapist reading and perhaps a bit cheesy. It’s an easy read and the plot moves and there are definitely people to cheer for and people to hate. Taking place in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina, we get to enjoy a perfectly enjoyable tale about a girl falling for her former crush while escaping her ex-fiancee. The narration was pretty good.

What I Didn’t Like: This book isn’t ground breaking it’s meant to be light and fluffy. There’s no complex characters, but that’s okay. Still this kind of keeps it in the just find category.

Who Should Read It: People who love cute little stories where the stakes are minimal and you can escape to a beautiful locale.

Summary: Hiding from an ex-fiancee sparks new love.

Sweet, funny and sexy! This book has everything

Bride and Seek
Enchanted Bridal #5
Samantha Chase
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨

This would be my all time favourite in this series. I adored everything about Cammie and Cade, I couldn’t get enough of them and their story!

When Cammie ran from her old life in Raleigh, she walked into a events job at Emerald Grove. It’s perfect, she can finally start a fresh unto her ex fiancé shows up with his new bride to be and it begins a funny game of hide and seek. Poor Cammie left her life behind to be as far away as possible from him and his new floozy! She never imagined that hide and seek would have her meeting sexy gardener Cade! He’s sexy and fall an round good guy, and is the perfect friend to help with her embarrassing games.

What started as a simple hide out, turns sexy as demon spawn
What started as a simple hide out, turns sexy as demon spawn Preston and his awful fiancé Whitney continue to show up unannounced and having “drop ins” whenever they feel like it. As Cammie sees it as an attack she knows it can’t continue to impact her job. So with sexy Cade by her side she’s ready for a fight. It seems everything is not as it seems and lil Whitney is about to find out EVERYTHING! I LMAO, best comeback ever!

This was a fun lighthearted read to take you on an adventure in the mountains! You’ll love it guaranteed

Short, cute, and works as a stand-alone.

Cammie flees to her hometown after catching her fiancé cheating. She starts a new job at a great resort. Then, to her horror, he shows up with his NEW fiancée to book their wedding at the resort.
Over the next few months, the cheater and his fiancée show up repeatedly. Cammie keeps dodging them- basically playing a game of hide and seek without the couple realizing it. Her co-workers help her, especially Cade.

I listened to the audiobook and the narration is good. Well paced, easy to understand, not annoying (lol).

I requested an ARC after reading the description. When I downloaded the book, I was instantly disappointed for two reasons- I didn't realize it was part of a series and it was short (less than 4 hours for the audiobook). I hate starting a series in the middle and I hate novellas. However, despite starting with two strikes, I enjoyed it. This book totally works as a stand-alone, so the middle of the series thing was a non-issue. The reason for 3 stars instead of 4 is basically the length. I just don't feel like there is enough time to properly develop characters. But that is definitely my preference with books.

I received an advance copy of the audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

Listening to Samantha Chase's novel, Bride and Seek, was an unexpectedly delightful break from the real world.
This book centers on Cammie Parker, who returns to her hometown after a truly mortifying heartbreak. Cammie gets a job with the local resort as an event planner, and it really seems like the ideal position until she receives her first assignment; planning her ex's wedding with the woman he left her for. While trying to avoid her ex, Cammie finds herself consistently running into Cade Taylor, her hot coworker at the resort (and her crush from high school). Cammie and Cade's attraction is undeniable and as they continue to get to know each other, they have to face the potential inevitable, are they meant to be?

I wanted to keep getting to know the characters, but the epilogue really filled the gaps. The writing style flowed easily and I found myself grinning like crazy at the various ways that this book brought romance to life. I'm definitely going to be looking into the rest of the Enchanted Bridal series.

Overall Rating: 2/5

Bride and Seek will be available starting June 24th. Be sure to add it to your Goodreads shelf and see where it's available for purchase. Also, be sure to check out Samantha Chase's website!

I was lucky enough to be able to read this Advanced Reader's Copy through my partnership with NetGalley. All opinions are my own.

Cammie is working in a new job running events at Emerald Grove Resort. She is enjoying the fast pace work and her new co-workers. The only downside is that her ex fiancé and his future bride have selected this venue for their upcoming wedding. Cammie left Raleigh after catching her ex cheating on her. Cammie makes her self scarce hiding away when ever the couple show up at the resort. While hiding she meets Cade. The handsome, kind grounds keeper. She remembers him from her high school days.

This is a quick, cute and predictable romance. It is the kind of book to read when you have a couple hours sitting beside a pool or on a cabin deck. Its isn't going to make your brain work too much and it will leave you happy at the end. I listened to the audio book and the narrator did a good job and it was easy to distinguish characters.

This is the fifth in a series but I read easily as a stand alone. The author is new to me. It is a contemporary romance, clean for language, and intimacy is off the page. Thank you NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for an ARC audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

Cammie Parker is moving back to her hometown after breaking up with her fiance who turned out to be cheating on her.

She starts working at a resort coordinating weddings. But on her 1st day she learns her ex and his new fiancé are interested in having their wedding at the resort. Cammie doesnt want to come face to face with them and always goes away and hides when they show up. but they are ALWAYS showing up.

Everytime she goes off to hide she keeps running into Cade Taylor a guy she went to high school with whos the ground keeper for the resort but in high-school she used to have a crush on. Can hide and seek lead to more?

This was a sweet and quick romance! I enjoyed the narrator! It was a cute story line. This is part of a series and this is the 1st one I've read and you don't have to read the other books to know what's going on. I will go back to read the other books in the series.

If you’re looking for a great romantic comedy with a perfect HEA this is the book for you. The two main characters are wonderful. Cammie just wants to move forward with her life after what she walked in on her fiancé with his bosses daughter on top of his desk. She packed up her life and moved back to her home town and was making a new life for herself. She loves her new job until the moment she realizes her ex and the woman he cheated with are at her new job planning their wedding there. She is saved by Cade, who like Cammie has pretty much given up on true love. He catches her hiding to avoid the ex and there an instant connection. They’re truly adorable and their story is a fun one. I’ve read the series and this is my favorite. I do believe that you can easily read as a stand alone, but it wouldn’t hurt to read the others. The narration was terrific.

I received a copy of this audiobook from Netgalley.com in exchange for a fair and honest review. It did not influence my opinion.

When your cheating ex and his replacement bride to be show up wanting to get married at your new job, you do the mature thing right!?! Right, you hide, hide, hide! Or are you maybe hiding because the hot landscaper keeps finding you!?! A fun summer read to have you giggling with delight in no time at all! A sweet romance with a strong cast of females to befriend and wind your way through a fun and well thought out plot with! I have discovered that this is one of a series and now must go back and read or rather listen to the entire series! Never fear though, I thoroughly enjoyed the book without having read the previous books so it works well as a stand alone book too! I'm just wanting to expand my reading/listening pleasure so I'll go back to the begin and read or rather listen my way through! Especially since the narrator of this book did such an outstanding job of helping bring the characters to life! I can't wait to listen to the rest of the books in the series!

Charming, romantic love story filled with angst and humor. Cammie begins a new job as an event coordinator at a premiere destination only to find her cheating ex has booked his wedding there. What's worse, she can't seem to avoid him or his new bride-to-be. It's almost as if they are looking for her. Cade, the grounds keeper, is more than happy to help her find creative ways to avoid any contact with the ex. But sooner or later, there is bound to be a confrontation and you can't help hoping karma pays a visit to the cheaters. Cammie and Cade deserve a love story of their own - after all, they are really good at hiding out together. This is a quick read and the narrator does an excellent job of keeping you entertained.

Bride & Seek by Samantha Chase
Narrated by Kathryn Lynhurst
Publisher: Dreamscape Media
Genre: General Fiction (Adult) | Romance
Publication Date: June 24, 2021

Bride & Seek by Samantha Chase is the fifth book in the Enchanted Bride series. I had not read or listened to the previous books, but was easily able to listen to this one as a standalone romance.

Bride & Seek is a sweet romance with a wonderful storyline and incredible characters! The story kept my attention and was very interesting. It moved at a great pace and I listened to this in less than one day! This book is a feel good read (listen) that will warm your heart and bring a smile to your face!

I loved the narration by Kathryn Lynhurst. She did such an incredible job bringing the characters to life and adding that extra bit of dimension.

Bride and Seek, by Samantha Chase, is a comical tale of the most unusual hide and seek game. Cammie Parker has recently taken a job at a mountain resort with the event planning department. This would be a dream job were it not for one of the first weddings that comes along, that of her ex fiancé and the boss’s daughter who he cheated on her with. Her new supervisors are quite sensitive to Cammie’s plight and tell her to disappear when this couple is on its way. However, her escapes keep her running into head groundskeeper Cade Taylor. When she explains her problem, Cade becomes a very willing participant in her game. And when the only thing Cade can think of to keep Cammie unseen is to grab her and kiss her, the door is opened for a brand new game.

This is a delightful novella with a happy spirit and fun plot. I did enjoy this audiobook and commend narrator Kathryn Lynhurst for a job well done!

This was a quick read for me but had everything I want from a Samantha Chase book. Cammie Parker is an event planner who is starting her life over again. She is positive her life is on the right track. That is until her past comes back to haunt her. In getting away as fast as she can, she runs to a place where she thinks she can spout as many expletives she can think of. But alas she’s not alone. Cade Taylor is happy being the head grounds keeper for the resort. He can get lost in all the preparations for keeping everything immaculate. He never expects a woman with a mouth like a sailor to show up. I adored this story. Cammie is frustrated with avoiding her ex and his new fiancé but Cade makes it fun and adventurous. She didn’t really believe love was possible for her any time soon but Cade could prove her wrong. This has all the fun, flirty and swoony moments that I wanted.

Loved, loved this book of finding love when you least expect it. Cammie is in need of a new beginning. She has a new job as an event planner @ a resort in her home town of Emerald Grove only to find out that her cheating ex is planning a wedding there. Upon seeing the couple t the resort, Cammie hides in an equipment shed when she meets grounds keeper, Cade. A knight in shining armor!! As they are playing a game of hide and seek, to stay away from this couple, a few stolen kisses take place. Soon they realize there is a chemistry between them.

I had a hard time putting down this book. Loved Cade, the perfect gentleman and so full of compassion! I must admit, I wanted to strangle Willow through out the book. A sweet romance that you do not want to miss. Looking forward to reading the next book in the series!!

Bride and Seek by Samantha Chase

Cammie Parker is excited for a fresh new start. Recently moving back to her hometown to get away from her cheating ex!

She’s excited to work at a fancy resort coordinating weddings. Cammie soon learns her ex and his new fiancé are interested in having their wedding at the resort. Cammie tries her hardest to avoid running into them while they are always seeming to visit the resort.

Her first time running she finds herself hiding in the grounds keepers shed. Where she runs into Cade Taylor! A guy she admired in high school! What could happen?!

This was a sweet and quick romance! I enjoyed the narrator! I enjoyed the story line!! I love the playfulness of Cammie and Cade!! So sweet!!

Thank you Samantha Chase, Dreamscape Media and NetGalley for the audio to listen to this book in return for my honest review!

Cammie Parker is an event planner, who moved away from her best friends in the city, to a small town where her parents lived. She is trying to restart her life from her cheating fiancé by working at a resort and being her best at her new job. Cammie reconnects with Cade Taylor, the landscaper at the resort, who helps her hide from her ex fiancé, who suddenly appears with his new bride to be, to plan their wedding. Cammie and Cade never knew each other personally during high school, but their chemistry is amazing, heartwarming, and endearing. Cade tries to help Cammie through many difficult situations and finding their hiding places from the imposing couple. This was a fun, flirty book that puts a smile on everyone’s faces. It is a short read, but totally a winner for Samatha Chase!

What a fitting title for this great story. I have to say, I definitely have a new book boyfriend by the name of Cade Taylor. I really liked how he stepped up and helped her find new hiding places and he is just a perfect guy. Cammie dodged a bullet with Preston, and I could not believe the lengths that Whitney went to, but in the end, Cammie had the last word which I totally loved. Just a great story all around. I loved seeing and hearing from our friends at Enchanted and the new ladies at the resort that Cammie works with are just as amazing and supportive. I also enjoyed the double epilogues and it set things up perfectly for the first book in Samantha Chase’s upcoming new series, Meet me at the Alter.

Samantha Chase is one of my go to authors. Her writing is so entertaining and leaves you with a feel good hangover. Bride and Seek did just that. Cammie and Cade's story was such fun. Cammie just started a new job as an event planner at a beautiful mountain resort. Her dream job. Unfortunately, her first event is planning her ex's wedding. While Cammie does everything in her power to not have any direct contact with her ex playing hid and seek becomes a pretty much daily game until she meets Cade. Cade is the head groundskeeper at the resort and well you know it just goes on from there. A really enjoyable read afternoon read. It's longer than that I just couldn't put it down. I highly recommend this book and this series, which can be read as stand alones.

Bride and Seek is a cute, endearing story about a resort event planner hiding from her cheating ex with the help of the sexy groundskeeper. It's the fifth book in a series, but Chase does a good job of contextualizing the events and characters from previous books so that someone like me coming in blind could still tell what was going on.

The story is enjoyable and reminiscent of a Hallmark movie. I wished that it had gone deeper into some of the emotions, but I understand that Chase could only do so much with such a short novel. This will certainly delight both established fans of the series and newcomers who love wedding stories!

Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for a copy of this ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review!

After Cammie’s plans for the future came to an abrupt end when she realized the man she was marrying was not the man she thought he was. She has returned to her hometown for a fresh start never imagining that her past would follow her there.

Cade works at the same resort that Cammie is working at and he was enchanted by her from their first meeting. He is sweet, swoony and always there when she needs help to escape the situation she finds herself in.

Cammie and Cade were perfect for each other and not only do we get to catch up with the other characters we know and love but get to meet some new ones who will star in their own stories as well.

Loved it 💗

Another great read from Samantha Chase. A visit into the world of weddings, romance and soul mates. Kicking her wounded pride Cammie returns to her home town to recover from her broken engagement, having found him cheating with the law firm bosses daughter. Planning weddings and events in the mountains she loves, until her ex comes crashing back in with his wedding to plan at the resort. Avoidance seems the best option and slipping into a tool shed prices the best decision if her life when she bumps into Cade. This takes you through the games of hide and seek, fun, stolen kisses, and feelings that surprise them both. Huge hit, and total page turner. Enjoy

Cammie moves back to Emerald Grove to get away from her cheating ex and his new fiancee. Cammie's ex and his fiancee start showing up at the resort where Cammie works. Cammie goes to hide in the tool shed and sees Cade who also works at the resort. Cade makes it his mission to help Cammie hide. Cade and Cammie are so cute together! They bring out the best in each other! When Cammie is confronted by her ex and his fiancee, Cammie is confident enough to stand up and let them know that she didn't appreciate being set up like she was. Cade was so supportive and just a great all around guy. Loved this book!

All's fair in love and games! Bride & Seek is a fun, light-hearted romantic comedy that will have you smiling the entire time. I enjoyed the audiobook so much, it was the perfect escape from my work day.

The many times Cammie is forced to play "hide and seek" to avoid her ex & his vindictive fiancee, is beyond comical. Throw in a hot co-worker that is more than happy to assist her, and you have a match made in heaven.

This was a low-drama, highly entertaining story that would be the perfect beach read for summer! I always love diving into a book that has great chemistry between the characters and witty banter. Don't miss out on this series!

Bride & Seek by Samantha Chase is part of the Enchanted Bridal series, something I did not realize until just now. It is the fun, super sweet story of a woman (Cammie) that found out she was cheated on and decides to move back to her hometown. She takes a job at a mountain resort as a bridal coordinator where her sleazy ex and his new fiancée have decided to get married. During one of her times of trying to avoid them, she hides in a equipment shed and ends up meeting Cade. Cade works at the resort in maintenance and feels stuck in a rut, but his encounter with Cammie has him feeling that his luck may be changing. This is a super sweet and fluffy quick read that is thoroughly enjoyable.
