Rate this book
After securing numerous treasures from within the depths of the kestian, Damon and his companions head to Avaricia intent on selling their rare finds. Unfortunately, the city of greed has its own plans for them.

Damon quickly becomes caught up in a political struggle involving powerful women on opposite sides of a hidden war. What’s asked of him is something beyond what he can easily give, and he soon finds himself chafing against a world he left behind.

The simple life he enjoyed on the farmstead with Malon, Ria and Vel seems like a fading dream. As accustomed to danger as Damon has become, threats against the women he loves are not something he can take lightly.

This book contains forbidden consensual sexual encounters between the main character and the closest women in his life.

The drama continues

Fantasy adult situations elves
Damon is a warrior juggling multiple lovers, and for extra spice, they aren't related, but two were raised as his sister's, and a third is a woman who raised all three. More to the point, Melon is a high level mage pledged to the being known as Lascivious, getting aroused is a thing the older woman struggles with. Having raised all to adulthood, feels if she gives into her lust, she will be shamed, yet keeps teasing Damon and herself even as she warns him to back off.

And rather than resolve the latest fight, Damon gets the women to safety and they run for home. Damon loves him adopted Mom and beds his younger "sister." Ria is supposed to be his wife, but both keep that relationship secret. It's all a hot mess. If like tawdry, dig in!

Power behind the thrones.

The story continues with more insight into the political concern's of the world Anya has created.

Seems each ruler has there own agenda and our main chars are to used as pawns in the game.

Follows on well from the last book with more character development.

Enjoyed it.

This one finally got moving in the second 1/2 of the book, but I almost didn't hold on that long. Although there are signs of him finally clueing in, I see few redeeming features in the MC. Withholding important info, lying to and sneaking around on his supposed loved ones are not the traits of an upstanding citizen, let alone a hero. I won't even get into his inability to keep it in his pants.

I'll probably read the next one to see if any of the perceived character development progresses, as the story seems to be building to something bigger.

be enjoyed t be Spellbinding

That tThis series is well written , with an unexpected plot that was hard to get ahead of. The storyline was unusual with many twist that were unpredictable. This series is well worth reading and should be enjoyable to fans of fantasy adventure books.

The saga of Damon, Malon, Vel, and Ria continues
This continues the story from Book 1 with lots of intense action, gripping suspense, and steamy romances. If you get this book after reading books 1 and 2, be assured the story continues to engage, surprise, and delight. If you haven’t read books 1 and 2, you should definitely read them first.

Really good

This series just get better with every book. Everyone goes to Avaricia and gets in trouble. This book gets deeper into what we should expect going forward. And the sneaky erotica is always great.

Still Not Quite There.

It seems that our hero will have to settle for just two out of three. But overall it is still a fine series.

I like the fact that main MC is beat in a tournament by his girl foster-sibling. The irony that he thought that he could make her submit then have their relationship return to normal with a total disregard to her or her motivations but then she beats the crap out of him, and he sulks because she beat him just makes me laugh. Of the course the shallow MC is such a horn dog, he immediately turns to his other girl foster-sibling for comfort, and doesn't face up to the fact that he was bested, and should apologize.
