Two years ago my life came to a complete standstill. As the world around me kept going, I fell through the proverbial rabbit hole.
It took a lot of fight to climb back into the living again, but now something is after me.
There are a few things I'm sure of, it's deadlier than I ever imagined and hellbent on, not only destroying my world but also ending my life.

About the author

I live in Ontario, Canada, and grew up in a small southern town. I share a home with my mom and have one son, a sweet little granddaughter. We have a close-knit family that makes each day a new experience, along with my furbaby.
Books, music, and movies played a central role in my life. By the time I was in grade eight, I had begun writing short stories and was encouraged to continue by both my English teacher and parents. It wasn’t until later that I started to write books, but only after reading everything I could get my hands on.
To me, there is no better place to be than between the pages of a book!
I am an Indie Romance Author and write Contemporary, Paranormal, and Psychological Thriller/Suspense. My Heroines are Smart, Strong, and Sexy, which compliments their Alpha Male Counterparts with Hero Complexes.

I enjoyed this Paranormal story.
Suspense, mystery, crime and murder all wrapped in one big bow.
Neverly is racing the clock trying to find out who is murdering students, and unbeknown it's all connected to her.
An Angsty story that had me reading furiously to read the mystery.
A great book.

Wow! This book covered a myriad of genres and emotions.

Horror, romance, paranormal, and crime all wound together into an entertaining tale of mystery and murder.

Neverly is a former law enforcement turned professor whose life has become dark and twisted following a tragic murder two years ago, but her troubles have only just began as bodies start to pile up on her campus...

Neverly and Dex were so steamy but as equally stubborn in their work lives as their romantic ones. They were back and forth, but the allure was enough to keep the reader baited.

Flynn was unexpected and intriguing.

I'm eager to find out more in the next book in the series.

Neverly has been fighting for the past two years to get back her life . She was a police officer with the Ontario police service when she witnessed a gruesome murder. Since then she has been having feelings of being watched. When the bodies start to pile up around her she has to ask her ex partner for help to figure out what is going on. Before they both end up dead.

Neverly is a strong woman who has had a bad last two years, she is a fighter and wants to figure out who is following her and whoever is killing people that she knows . She does have a bit of a stubborn streak and she likes to push people away. Dex is her hot ex partner who has and on and off relationship with her. He kind of comes off as cocky but underneath he has a heart of gold that will do whatever it takes to help Neverly out and figure out what is going on. Flynn is well he is a loner who has a way with people, he is one of those people that you like him but you can't really trust him . Each character has flaws that make them more relatable and makes you want to cheer for them and keep them safe.

This is one of those books that is a good mixture of a mystery and paranormal thrown in a thrill. The characters are well written and complex. This is the first book from this author that I have read from her . I liked how the story flowed well and there was some good twists and turns that had me on the edge of my seat for most of the time . There are some very hot scenes through out the book . I like that this is a Canadian author and she used landmarks and towns that are recognizable to me . I can' t wait to dive into boo two and see where she takes us . Check it out I read it in an afternoon .

This was an entertaining paranormal mystery. It had great characters and good world building with well written plot. The story flowed well with a few twists and turns that kept you guessing as to what would happen next. The paranormal elements were well-woven in with the human world, which created a fun and engaging read.

A fast-paced crime thriller with a paranormal touch. The story moved fast and had a lot of twists throughout. I enjoyed the race against the clock and wondering where things were going to go in the end. I also appreciated the glimpse into the criminal’s mind as well.

However the story moved a little too fast for me and there were a lot of jumps in times and POVs that weren’t separated that made it a little jarring. I also had some trouble connecting with the characters as well.
