SEAN LEWIS (DC Future State's Superman of Metropolis) and rock star artist CAITLIN YARSKY return with the final arc of their critically lauded series. Benton has come face to face with Lethe on her home turf where memories are weapons. As Benton is literally tortured by the past, his son travels with the god Hera through the swamps of Feral City looking for the secret that could bring Lethe down.
Bliss, Vol. 1 was stronger than the later issues of the series. But it blossomed into a beautiful story of forgiveness. Towards the end of Issue 8, Writer Sean Lewis shares a heartwarming personal story about his own upbringing and how he aspires to raise his own son.
Caitlin Yarsky's illustrations remained consistent throughout the series, I look forward to picking up more of her work. Kudos to Ari Pluchinsky who worked on coloring for Issues 6 to 8.
I loved this illustration of Sean Lewis & his Son.
Bad father, good father. The love of a son against horrid, hideous violence and death. Lethe the goddess and demi=gods. A drug to purge the bad memories of your actions. Redemption and justice. A graphic novel to end the year.
