The monks took a vow of silence. They made sure the village did the same.
Mui and Ryan’s Greek adventure turns into a nightmare when she wakes to find him missing from the monks’ secret cave they’ve camped in. As the hours tick by, Mui has to face the truth: Ryan’s been abducted, and it’s up to her to get him back.
Can Mui find Ryan before time runs out? Can she trust the people helping her?
The Monastery is a gripping thriller that won’t let you go.

"The Monastery" is a very fast paced and Mui and Ryan are up to the task at hand! The Action Thriller the author has laid out is that and more! The corruption has a decided new twist that captured the town of Kastraki that runs deep all the way to the Police Department. The Training that MUI and RYAN have undertaken all of their lives is an advantage that is unseen from those that are choking the good people of Kastraki! Someone has to step up and stop the "Monks" and the Police from continuing there terrorizing way strangling this is town of it's goodness. Mui and Ryan are up to the task and more! This is a fast read and very enjoyable as the Author takes again inside the characters of Mui and Ryan off on there own in the start of a partnership that will have long and varied story lines that open a new dimension from Ty Hutchinson, that will keep his readers yearning for more! Very Well done, my Friend!!! Very enjoyable, action is believable and exciting as the pages turn quickly for you!!! Thank you, Chuck Mercik, a loyal reader!!!
Mui and Ryan are in Greece, and arrange to sleep outdoors in the cave of the monastery, they fall into trouble and Mui has to search hard for the answers when Ryan goes missing. With the help of some local boys Mui goes all out in her search. Short story, page turning, action packed compelling me to read it in one sitting! Start at the beginning with Sei - the assassin, Abby and Kang FBI, and Mui at school all prior to this and whilst it can be read as a stand-alone you understand the dynamics and their background if you start at the beginning. Thank you Ty for my advanced copy.
A summer vacation in Greece for Mui and her friend Ryan, who is visiting from the United States. Their relationship has grown since they first met through their mothers. While in Greece Ryan wanted to visit some ruins that he had read about. How can a 3 day trip bring so many tragic events where human lives are in danger? If this is book number one in a new series, I think we should hang on for more action to come. I was given a free copy of this book and this is my honest review.
I loved this book. Mui and Ryan are on their own! It's so interesting to follow their thought processes, see what they decide. The historical background and the descriptions of the monasteries made me want to go visit them and see the wonders personally. The perfect setting.
Bummer, now I have to wait for the next one! Unfortunately, I've read all the others series you've written and have to look for something else to read. How about writing more stories based in Hawaii? Mahalo!
This time it’s Ryan Mui has to save. Time is running out for Ryan, something big is going down at midnight. Can Mui save Ryan from a bunch of deranged monks? As usual this book doesn’t fail to keep you up reading all night!! Can’t wait for next one.
Another fantastic Mui story with her boyfriend Ryan bedeviling the enemy with their extraordinary abilities. But if you like your average hero, no superpowers, then false assurances and threat bias are for you.
On a peaceful trip in Greece Mui and Ryan are offered an unusual place to spend the night. They accept the offer and that is when trouble strikes. Mui is at her best rescuing Ryan. A very good story.
The Monastery by Ty Hutchinson They are always up for adventure but in the future they shouldn’t change a room for a cave!!! I enjoyed the story and recommend the book.
