The Haunting of Abram Mansion
A riveting new haunted house mystery that will keep you guessing until the end!

Unfortunately, the will stipulates that the couple must live in the house for a minimum of six months before they sell it. As Peyton and Ben try to make the best of the situation, Peyton discovers the house is inhabited by ghosts, and they aren’t happy with the mansion’s new occupants.
I read the whitecrest book a little while ago and i remember liking it. I just finished the Abrams Mansion book last night and while it is a great story line the writer knows absolutely nothing about medicine, injuries, recovery from injuries, (like, the guy fell and broke his arm so why is he then in a wheelchair and how can he navigate the wheelchair with one arm in a cast) and house construction including wiring - if you have a fuse box, which you would have in a house of that age, you would not then be flipping breakers. there are many many annoying things like that throughout the whole book along with your standard proofreading problems such as consistency in the story line, extraneous words hanging in a sentence after obvious changes, misplaced punctuation, etc. **was it new carpet or new laminate flooring or new hardwood? pick one. **how do you move an airstream trailer (that has been stationary for years) - repeatedly - with a small electric car? oh, and then later it went from being an airstream trailer (that you can't move with a little electric car) to a "little van". **at the top of one page she was drinking cappuccino. at the bottom of the same page it was a black coffee. all that being said, it really was a good story. she should have hired a proofreader/editor.

This review is just for “The Haunting of Abram Mansion”; as I previously the other novel is this boxed set, and couldn’t find a standalone version. The story was well told. The characters were rich and interesting. The scene settings were excellent, as they put me in the mansion. The downsides were the story felt drawn out, and then rushed to closure. There is a large gap between the ending of the mystery and the epilogue. So many unanswered questions. To list them here, would be to take away from the story itself. Read and you will see what I mean. A feel a little cheated, after committing so much of my time to the mystery; but I foresaw who the villain was before the primary characters did, and there can’t be that many clueless people out there.
I loved this boxset of ghostly tales! Both estate hauntings were great, but the Abram Mansion was the best! So many twists and turns. I never knew what was going to happen! Would Peyton and Ben divorce? Is Percy Abram really dead? What about Andrew Anderson? Why did he leave the mansion to Peyton and Ben? And it’s filled with a ton more!! The WhiteCress Mansion was a good one too. I don’t believe you’ll be disappointed with that one either. These were clean reads too. No bad language or vulgarity. I appreciate that and I know many others do as well. Recommend to all, especially to those who love a great mystery with ghostly tales along for the ride as well.
It was hard to like the main character. She's a freeloading, lazy, millennial. Always whining about something. Using her husband's money to chill out at the coffee shop everyday, while he works his ass off to renovate "her" mansion. Why the husband would have wanted to stay married to her, instead of running for his freedom when she filed for divorce, is amazing.
Bad character development, lame plots, and tedious amounts of rambling chapters without a point.
Was not a good read. Very slow and ponderous. Plus, some horrible editing with numerous mistakes.
This is a new Author for me and I have really enjoyed the books.... I have read a few books now and I can honestly day that I loved every single one of them...... Hazel Holmes will be on the top of my list for Author's and I would highly recommend that you read her books .... I have now read 5 of her book's and I can't wait to see what her other book's are like... I would definitely give Hazel Holmes five stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I didn't like how uncommitted Peyton was to her marriage . where Ben was concerned she was selfish and inconsiderate. She blamed Ben for her not realizing her dreams. In reality it was her own fault.
An exciting read. Descriptions are so well written, that I thought I was really there watching and talking with the characters. Was so connected with the characters, that I got emotional. A must read!
Really great characters development... Lots of twists and turns... Mystery ..suspense... Friendships.... murder ... Ghosts.... Solving some murders... Really great but read and enjoy.
I thoroughly enjoyed the book. It's been ages since I have read a book that kept me engaged. Some people might consider it light reading and I suppose that might be true but its wonderful to sit back and relax and simply enjoy it.
Really enjoyed reading this series. Had no idea how this was going to end. Never figured out how it eventually did. Not sure I liked the ending though. Highly recommend reading.
There are two books. I enjoyed the plot in the 2nd story more. However, I disliked the main female character (Peyton). She came across as spoiled and immature. Still I would recommend these books.
The first story was ok but I something I've read many times BUT the second story was very good. I really enjoyed it. Will be on the look out for this author.
