This book was so sweet. Cole was attentive, creative and just downright romantic. I loved the scavenger hunt that her planed do make Lashae his wife. I need be a bae like Cole who brings all my wants and dreams to life. It seems like she deserved that and more. It is a short read but I wanted more excitement. It was pretty predictable once cole was at the jewelry story but it was cute.

🤔 I am a Bailey West fan...her previous work has spoiled me to have high expectations of emotions and passion. Her storylines always celebrated the love from a strong black man to his woman. This holiday themed short followed the template. I had to read it twice because after my first pass I felt underwhelmed. I have never experienced that from her work so I needed a rerun to see what was the problem? 🤔 Was I too anxious, distracted, reading too fast??? Where is the issue?
👓 My second read provided a resolution. Although this short story has a lot of emotion. It is without trauma. Chae and Cole are whole, happy, and excitedly in love with each other. Their emotion is positive so there is no growth to witness. 💡This short story is truly a celebration of this love and commitment to their future and I'm here for it!!!! 💜 Black Love Is Beautiful. 💜 Love is grand and should be celebrated daily! 🥰

The Perpetuity Effect
Once again, I lost my Kindle review 🥴🤬‼️Unfortunately, I didn’t save my original review either before the platform froze and booted me out. I’ll post a review tomorrow of “A Valentine Guest: RAW: A Valentine Short. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the book, the venue cameo LaShae’s excitement 🤩 and more specifically Cole’s attention to detail with scavenger hunt for the woman he loves, his Valentine LaShae. Kudos to him for the time, creativity energy invested in the ultimate demonstration of love 😍 just to see his forever smile. That’s the objective, (or at least should be) to give 💯 of yourself not just for the designated commercial day, devoted to love. But rather, to create magic, manifest her dreams, desires & or her fantasies whenever possible for one you love 💕 to experience joy. She’ll never forget this Valentine Day‼️That's a brilliant dude, the perpetuity effect💍 profoundly successful! …twice🤭💐😉‼️

A Valentine Quest was so so. I liked Cole and LaShae. I thought they were a cute couple. I loved the scavenger hunt he sent her on. I thought that was absolutely adorable. I need my next boo to do that for me or he can't be my boo. But, overall, I didn't really enjoy the book. It didn't hold my attention (it took me 4.5 hours to read it) and it was a little too vanilla for my taste. A Valentine Quest was my first book by Bailey West and I wasn't very impressed by it.

Happy Tears!!!!
The author caught my attention from the beginning to the end with this Valentine short. Not only was the storyline beautifully written it was also believable. Bailey West wasted no time weaving a complete story full of passion and romance. I look forward to Reading Te'Russ and Danielle Allen's contributions to the RAW series.

A loving couple!!!
Cole and Lashae have been together for three years and when Cole tells Lashae he will not be home for Valentines day, she is upset, but Cole has other plans. Cole decided to send LaShae on a scavenger hunt for not being there. Making it to the final destination Cole gives LaShae the biggest surprise of her life and she says yes. This was a great book and I couldn't put it down. Cole loved LaShae and vice versa. I loved the idea of the scavenger hunt and why he did it. I love a great proposal and this one was the best. Im so loving Bailey West and her writing.

Well, this was a charming surprise release! I downloaded this based solely on the author being Bailey West I knew it wouldn’t disappoint. I was invested in LaShae and Cole from the very beginning. This was a cute sweet and romantic read. It just shows you that even when you think no one's listening they really are. I love Bailey West's work!

I really enjoyed this book. Cole planned out the most loving Valentine's day scavenger hunt/engagement. It was perfect and well thought out with so many details of things they discussed that Lashae had always dreamed of. I was not ready for this to be over. This is my first read by this author but definitely won't be my last.

Sweet, sweet story! Cole needs to be teaching tutorials on how to plan romantic dates/weekends for the men out here! 😂 He and LaShae's story was beautiful. I loved how he surprised her with the scavenger hunt. Such a cute idea. Really enjoyed this! 👍👍👍

This probably was one of the dopest scavenger hunts ever! Cole really out did himself and I was over here reading Jealous AF🥴. It was a couple of blah spots for me but not to the point where it killed the story and took away from what Cole had up his sleeve.

I think it was my least favorite book from the whole serie but I still loved it. LaShae and Cole are so cute. Cole is an amazing guy. I love that he got all those hins for LaShea and surprised her with coming back for Valentine’s Day. A sweet cute read that I definitely recommend
