This is an excellent book for anyone with at least an intermediate knowledge of Latin who is looking to improve his fluency in reading. The quality of the Latin is excellent, highly readable and yet still true to the quirks and idiosyncracies endemic to the language. These fabulae are fun to read in their own right but also provide a useful bridge between the Latin of student texts books to the ancient and medieval authors that most who study language aspire to read with fluency.
