The joy limit screen times offers to kids

‘Babaroo the Alien Limits Screen Time: Children's Book about Breaking Gadgets Addition’ by Kate Melton is a beautiful little story to explain little kids that spending too much time to watch a screen isn’t that healthy. How much pleasure they can have when they limit their screen time, because then they have time to play and have fun together.
I love the illustrations.

Babaroo was so disappointed that when he arrived on earth and looked for his friends they were all gone and just not to be found. A dragon fly helped him find all his friends. He was so disappointed in them because they were all on computers, video games watching television - they didn't even know he was there. He fixed them though, taught them the rules from his planet as to how to use gadgets an all was happy! Lovely iillustrations a wall written book! A lesson everyone could learn!

This is a delightful story about a little alien, Babaroo, who can’t find any of his friends on his visit to earth.
He discovers that no one is playing together because everyone is obsessed with their electronics.
He comes up with a plan and sets new rules about using gadgets.
This teaches kids a great message.

Babaroo is an adorable alien who teaches kids a much-needed lesson about limiting screen time and finding opportunities to play and have fun instead. A great tool for parents to use to talk with children about the importance of disconnecting from technology when it begins to take over kids’ lives.  The illustrations are brilliant and engaging.

Great kids book!

Loved reading this book with my eight year old son, we loved the cute illustrations and he loved the alien (he a big fan of aliens). Also the book has a strong message throughout and is very educational, so entertaining and educational - a perfect combination.

Good lesson

What a cute book series that teaches simple lessons to children. Barbaroo is absolutely adorable. I enjoyed the artwork as well. The only complaint i have is the kindle edition is kind of hard to read.

Technologically accurate

Great! I got the book for free, but the review is my own. Good, but, simple encouragement to limit screen time in favor of real relationships and real life in nature.

Babaroo Returns

A fun brightly illustrated picture book about limiting screen time. The Babaroo the alien books are so cute. Babaroo teaches the children on earth how they can use their devices as they do in outer space.

Lovely Story

The story is very timely as I often see kids (and adults) stuck on screens. It’s a fairly straightforward tale and my one criticism is that the English and German should’ve been presented on the same page rather than two separate stories so you can learn easier.

Great book

Helps to define boundaries around gadget use. Also helps in having a frank discussion on this topic.
Each family can negotiate screen time accordingly.

Important and beautifully done!

This children's book is very creatively done with beautiful, authentic, and heart-warming illustrations! For someone bilingual, it’s terrific to be able to read it both in German and English! It’s so important to inspire kids to put away their screens, be creative, go outside, and use their time well. It might inspire adults to challenge their kids and be creative, too, kick them out in the forest, and set limits for screen time! An important children’s book with well-done storytelling and great characters! It deserves a five-star!
