My name is Adam Dark.

I write horror and paranormal stories based on my vivid dreams. It's the best way that I know of to get the demons out and onto paper. I hope they haunt you and leave your heart pumping like they do me.

I established my first LLC. when I was ten years old. My friends were my first employees. Other than sharing my stories with others, I love making videos on YouTube. If a picture is worth a thousand words, then a video is worth a million. I've directed two movies so far. You can find them on YouTube at Super Plus Toys.

Outside of writing, I spend most of my time playing guitar or golf. Travel is also high on my list of leisure activities. I've been to seven countries within Europe and plan to visit many more in the years to come. The richness of other cultures is thrilling!

I have a pet tarantula named Venom; a dog named Emma; and cat named Ellie. They are my secret confidants to the mysterious worlds I create. I have both an American and Danish passport. Feel free to ask me more about my Polish heritage.

Some other things I enjoy are rock n' roll, public speaking, broccoli (I know, isn't that weird!), school, and heart-wrenching horror movies that leave me clinging to the seat. While I love learning, I dislike homework, disrespectful and rude people, senseless drama, and bullies. There is no room for hatred. We only have one life to live; let's do it to the best that we can and treat everyone with love and kindness.

This second book in this series pretty much picked up where the first one left off. Now Mira, Queen of the lion shifters, has awakened her own magic, she knows her next task is to awaken the magic for the other lion clans. Shame she has no idea where any of them are or how to locate them either.

Mira is beginning to learn how to use her magic more and more and to demonstrate her powers in both her forms. However, she really irritated me in this book. She is supposed to be the Queen, the only lion shifter powerful enough to release the magic that the other clans need, yet she seem to have no regard for her own safety whatsoever, despite knowing that the MEG and demons are after her. She knows her uncle is betraying her, yet still willingly chooses to meet him, claiming to want answers, that she knows he won't give. She kept running off with no regard for her guardians, Ethan and Noah and like a teenager who is out late after curfew, would mutter a feeble apology. Now I know she is an adult, so should be able to do what she wants, but almost every time she runs off, she finds herself in trouble, fighting demons mostly.

As with the other books by these authors that I have read, the proofreading and editing was appalling. There are so many typos, wrong words, missing words etc. that it is incredibly frustrating and distracting to read. I have now read all the books of theirs that I got through BookSprout and I know I won't be getting any more. Just not enjoying them as much as I had hoped.

MIRA’S COMING INTO HER OWN

I received this book for free and am giving my honest and voluntary review.

Mira is learning how to use her magic. Ethan and Noah are still by her side, along with Remi and Finn. She has met a demon that extended an olive branch by not killing her and returning her to Finn. She has met some of her clans and is trying to figure out how to help them.

The interactions between the characters is interesting as Mira doesn’t have all her memories back and can’t figure out her connection to Ethan. Noah is standoffish and Finn is being content with staying a solo mage, much to Remi’s anger. I also like the lessons that Mira has learned and how she continues to grow mentally and physically, as well as magically.

This story sets you up for the next one. I can’t wait to read it.

After the demon fight, Finn drives everyone home in his SUV. Finn cannot believe where Mira lives. Mira is embarrassed about the state of the Alvarez family home. They have always been poor. Ethan asks Finn to ward the house so the MEG can not find her. When Finn gets back to his SUV, he makes the comment that someone is in the house. It is Uncle Todd, the relative who sold out Mira and her guardians to the demons. From here on, Ethan and Noah train Mira in some of the easier magic she will need once she becomes the true Queen. Only they do not teach her the harder stuff so she seeks out Finn. There are fights between the lions and the MEG, Mira and a demon, the two guardians, plus all the family angst going on. The story ends in a cliffhanger and I can't wait to read Book 3. Highly recommended.

I admit I wasn't expecting anything mind-blowing for this sequel after some disappointments on the first book, but oh my god, this book ruled!

I couldn't put it down, following Mira on her new challenges and seeing more aspects of the narrative unfolding. I felt this volume to be much more focused and on point of things, with the narrative much more natural.

I also wasn't expecting to actually like the love triangle dynamic, as it's an element that doesn't catch my eyes, but I'm loving to see how Mira is not panting after the boys all the time. Much more the opposite!

I can honestly say that I can't wait to see how this trilogy will end!

Thanks so much to the author and Booksprout for gifting me my review copy!

This book was a good book, however I did put it down for a while, because of how Mira kinda got very self righteous in the beginning thinking that she was the best thing since sliced cake when her grandmother was still Monarch of the clans. I found it very disrespectful that she had no respect for her elders just because she was a queen, though I do understand why she doesn't like her uncle at all.

All in all I'm rating this book a four star because I did love the book aside from Mira being so full of herself in the beginning which was later explained in the book that it just comes with being a lion. I know this series is labeled as a romance on Amazon, but so far there is no romance in the series at all, however I do look forward to reading the other books in the series.

That being said I would recommend this book to a more adult audience just because of certain action scenes in the series. This book does indeed have magic in it along with shifters, so if that is your cup of tea I totally recommend this series to you.

The story is really interesting. I have not read the previous books but this one has me putting them on my TBR list. I received an advance reader copy. There were a lot of words that seemed out of place like they were spell checked incorrectly. It is the only reason I did not give a full 5 stars. I am hoping it was just for that ARC copy and not the final release version because the story is worth reading in my opinion. I loved the idea of shifters being able to use magic. That is not something I have seen much of before.

In this book in the the series Mira the Queen of Lions has come in to some of her power and some of her memories from past lives. Noah and Ethan were still her guardians and their relationships were complicated. Remi was her witch and Finn was Finn. The team are trying to free the magic and stay hidden from MEG and demons. All while trying to avoid Mira’s spiteful family as they steadily uncover secrets and face danger. Fun read.

I began this series after finishing another by Adam Dark which I thoroughly enjoyed.  This is the second book in this fast paced paranormal shapeshifter series and I thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish.  The story doesn't come to a conclusion but continues to develop an action packed story of good versus evil.  Definitely worth reading if you don't mind needing to purchase the next books in the series.

Is Mira strong enough to do what needs to be done?
Uniting the clans and releasing magic worldwide? And who can she trust? She trusts Noah, Remi, and her guardians, but her Grandmother says to be careful. When she learns not all demons are enemies, and a close relative might be an enemy what can she do? And why do some clans fear getting magic back? l me I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Starts right where book 1 ended, this sequel is fast paced, full of magic and sarcastic wit. The layers of plots & sub-plots make it very interesting.

Great story

Fantastic story but patched were a little difficult to read with a few typo's and confused words. Still a great read as story makes those little mistakes pale to the inconvenience level of needing a cuppa when you want to read more!

Mira captures our attention in this fantasy delight. She has to find a way to wake up her fellow guardians. If that not all Mira in her trials must accept truths to survive. Turn the pages to see if she is capable to do any of it.

Would have been 5

The story is great, if the reader can get past all the grammar mistakes. So many it was frustrating trying to figure the sentences out.

An amazing first book for me from this author. Mira is the Queen of Shifters, but they all seem to have disappeared. Hard to not love everything about the story.
