The Fenway Stevenson Mysteries, Collection Two: Books 4,5,6 by Paul Austin Ardoin.

The books in the Fenway Stevenson Mysteries are to be read in order. Each book has a mystery murder to be solved and at the end of each book that main mystery is solved, however there are cliff hanger endings. The overall story arc over all 7 books is the personal relationships of Fenway with her father, her mother, her father's second wife, her lovers, her friends and the people she works with. In each book more of her personal back ground is revealed. The plot is page turning for each book for the mystery involved and the outcome. The writing style may not be to everyone's liking but for me all 7 books in this series kept me engaged till the very last page. I would suggest you buy the box sets. A great read.

I have now finished six books about Fenway Steveson. Paul Austin Ardoin’s writing style is one I love. You cannot read one of these books as they are a series and you cannot contemplate missing out on the next mystery to be solved because there are cliff-hangers in each one. I have also purchased the seventh book in this series.
Fenway’s character, as a Coroner, is excellent. She is strong, and intelligent, has loving relationships with her estranged father and male friends, and is superb at solving murders. Other characters are well described and you get to love them — or despise them.
I would recommend anyone to purchase this series as the stories are page-turners.

This was a collection of three more books in the series. I enjoyed each of them as much as the others I have read. This author has a style that I truly enjoy and it makes the story flow. He does get a bit stuck on describing Fenways love of a certain restaurant and their food. In this collection, I found myself becoming a bit upset with Fenway. She is supposed to be this strong woman capable of being the Coroner and she wasn't coming across that way at all. Anyway, Mr. Ardoin did not continue along that thread. I am ready to begin the next book in this series.

I loved this series and Fenway's grit to deal with life and becoming a fantastic Coroner. I really hope there are more books to come as the author truly has a skill of hiding clues in plain sight and you may not see them until after Fenway points them out. I really want to see how she bests the mayor!. Great series. Will search for more books from the author and hope they are as good as this series has been.

I do love a good mystery

Fenway is an amazing character and though a mystery is solved another one begins. Really makes me feel like I know these people and would love to sit down and have coffee (can’t eat Mexican food). Will begin the next book after lunch. Sitting outside in the shade enjoying the sun, birds and breeze. Nothing better!

I came upon this series & decided to give it a try. I simply fell in love with the main characters. At times the stories do drag a bit, but believe you me. Worth the read!
