Honestly, a great read. It discusses learning the language of the country you’re in that is worshipful and faithful to God. It shouldn’t have taken me this long to read but it was good!!
1,000 cups of tea can lead to language learning. As we are getting ready to move overseas, language has been one of the bigger stressers for me. I am nervous about being able to make friends who will be able to help us in language learning. This field guide gives biblical encouragement and practical tools for learning language while being immersed in a new culture. It is beautifully written with stories from other cross-cultural workers experiences. This would be a great read for anyone wanting to learn a new language. It is easy to understand and is a pretty quick read.
Basic concepts that could’ve been conveyed in 50 pages. If you are looking for basic linguistic understanding in a cross cultural setting, it could be beneficial and worth your time.
