I feel cold air caress between my legs making me realize that I’m still not wearing my damn panties since the cold bastard took it. When I asked for it back, his answer was a simple no with a slight smirk as if he relished knowing I was uncomfortable and still wet from his filthy and humiliating lesson in the car. I even saw his eyes heat when he saw the wet spot I left behind on the seat.
Once the door closes, he pushes the button for the top most floor and I feel him step closer behind my back while his hand lowers into the low cut of my dress, to my naked ass. The warmth from his palm seeps into my skin.
“Don’t for a second think I'm done with you, sweet girl.”

While I secretly loved every single moment of his lesson, I don’t I can handle another one. Who knows what he’ll ask me to do next. Still my heart races at the promise in his words. Am I starting to love the way he handles me? Like I can take whatever punishment he comes up with.

Will He Ever Be Mine is the author's debut novel in a taboo trope. Read the warning this book is not for everyone. I jumped right in on release day as I was extremely excited, I do like the book, just not love the book, and yes, I still will recommend the book.
The female protagonist Nyra is a strong young woman who thinks she is sick and twisted; Riaan is a dirty talker, protective alpha. The heart wants what the heart wants even when it’s against society’s rules and standards. I don’t want to give away spoilers, so my review will be vague.
Here is what I like, the taboo factor, the family dynamics and based in India. Let’s not forget the steam factor, the most substantial part of the book. The scenes are hot and Riaan is one hot dirty talker and knows about after care. The cliffhanger is a doozy.
My constructive criticism is as much as I love the steam. There isn't much of a plot. In the last couple of chapters leading up to the cliffhanger, it wasn’t in-depth and seemed rushed and glanced over and a few discrepancies in the book.
I will read the next book, and as I said, I recommend this book; it could be your five-star review.

The blurb for this book sounded delicious and exactly what I like to read but I found there was a lack of plot (hence only 4 stars).
Will he ever be mine had such hot scenes, these characters were obviously struggling with their feelings towards each other, and the drama unfolding near the end was enough to keep me piqued.
It had so much potential but it just needed more back story, more build up to who they both were.
But goodness, that ending, such a spectacular cliff hanger.

A friends to lovers, taboo romance. This story features a confident young heroine and a young alpha male hero, both of whom are willing to take risks compelled by their long-burning attraction for each other. Excellent pace. The steam was this book's strongest quality. The story was rather bland, leaving its abundant (thank you) steam and taboo primed as the attention seeker. Some great family dynamics, and I loved that it featured an Indian couple, something fresh and missing from the usual.
This is a steamy affair that skirts taboo. I would read it for its steam and uniqueness in diversity rather than the strength of its storyline.

oh.. that ending was.. fuck! cliffhangers make me crash out every time.
this story was good and VERY spicy. it’s kind of like all smut and no plot but there is a bigger overall plot if that makes sense 😂 like this is a really forbidden/taboo story so you already have the plot of them not supposed to be together.. but towards the end of the book some drama started arising and it definitely has me interested on how everything is going to go. that ending for sure has me ready to open book 2 rn.
Check your triggers! And do your research before reading because these kind of taboo stories aren’t for everyone.

Nyra ha 8 anni quando vede per la prima volta un altra parte della sua famiglia che non ha mai conosciuto, i suoi cugini. Già a 8 anni sente di provare qualcosa per uno di loro, Riaan, e crescendo questa cosa non passerà anzi, rimarrà impressa sempre nella sua mente come un chiodo fisso.
Questa storia è TABOO. A chiunque dia fastidio questo tipo di storia, non consiglio la lettura, in quanto ripeto, i due protagonisti sono cugini di primo grado.
Il libro è corto e si legge in un battito di ciglia, la scrittura è fluida e nonostante sia un debutto devo dire che l'autrice se l'è cavata molto bene. Ci sono un po' troppe scene hot, si parte col nulla e a metà fino alla fine c'è sesso ad ogni paragrafo, ma sono scene davvero ben scritte.
I personaggi non mi hanno fatta impazzire, specialmente Nyra, l'ho trovata certe volte troppo infantile e neanche Riaan mi ha conquistata a fondo, è il classico uomo alpha che deve decidere tutto e qualsiasi cosa ti dice di fare tu devi farla - però ho un debole per gli uomini con il "chocking kink" quindi lui viene promosso anche se ha difetti.
Cliffhanger prevedibile ma comunque non vedo l'ora di leggere il seguito per scoprire cosa succederà.

Will he ever be mine, the debut romance of V. Simran took me by surprise. It's a very dark and very taboo dark romance. And as a new author, she handled it pretty well. It is one of the dirtiest and kinkiest reads I have read recently.
Nyra always had an intense crush on her distant cousin Riaan. Not something acceptable by society. And what developed as a crush has become an inferno of lust and love over years. But Riaan always put her at a distance. When she moves to the same city where Riaan and his family lives, she didn't expect Riaan to claim her as his. But they are set to be doomed.
I had an extra interest on this story as it's set mostly in India and the characters are Indian origin. Being an Indian, I was super interested. Riaan is definitely the kind of dark and depraved alpha I want in my dark romance. He has a kinky mind, dirty mouth, sinful body and arrogance in plenty. He takes what he wants and that's by any means. Nyra is an innocent and sweet girl to everyone but wow this girl has a depraved and perverse side for sure. She matches Riaan in their darkest fantasies and darkest desires. This girl surprised me for sure. Having said that, I wanted to see more emotion and angst between the characters beyond the physical connection. Hot scenes are always welcome but it gets boring and tiresome after a while and I wanted to see more emotional depth and more development of their emotional connection. The forbidden part should have created even more tension and drama. That cliffy was interesting and I cannot wait to see what happens next in the conclusion.

I am completely lost for words! That ending has me literally sat with my mouth open trying not to scream!
I'm still quite shocked that this is actually V. Simrans debut novel as I was completely captivated by it! As she does say in the description, this is a taboo relationship so it won't be for everyone. There's not much I can really say as I don't want to give too much of the story away. But I will say that there are some extremely sexy scenes and a hell of a lot of dirty talk. Which I loved, I love a bit of smut and this definitely didn't disappoint at all!
The ending is just brilliant, and I honestly can't wait for the next book as I NEED to know what happens! If you're looking for a taboo, super steamy read with a very dirty talking man - then look no further.

3.5 stars! I love this sub genre of romance, once I heard about it I had to read it! The ending was so priceless, I read the last page twice and I was still snickering! Little eggs are peppered throughout the novel enhances that final moment! It was pretty great!
Why 3.5 stars? I wish there was more plot, I felt every other scene was a sex scene but i’ll be honest and say, the last few I just skipped to the end of the scene . And that’s no way to read a romance novel!

I couldn’t believe this was a debut novel. The story is intriguing and packed with emotion and steam. This is a very taboo story but it is so well written, I found myself rooting for this couple. We can’t always choose what our heart wants or needs. What happens when you are madly in love with someone you can’t have? I loved this book and after that shocking ending, I can’t wait for the next book.

Their story will take you on a wild ride, having you turn page after page, this book had me from the beginning to the end. Reading this story, it enables the readers to really connect with the characters, and as the story unfolds, the readers see the development and growth from the characters singularly and together. The author knows how to write, and I will be coming back for more.

And those bedroom scenes were blazing hot, downright dirty and physical, it had all the pleasure and passion one would expect when Riaan shows Nyrah that he is the only man she will ever need, because Riaan always gets what he wants, giving her the pain and pleasure, she deserves, his possessiveness and obsessive need for control and dominance, it was off the charts and had all of the feels.

Will He Ever Be Mine is book #1 in the Meant To Be duet and it's also V. Simran debut novel. I was surprised with the storyline, I was aware that there was taboo content in it, but the storyline completely surprised me. Personally, I found it intriguing to read and it didn't make me feel uncomfortable at all. However, you may find the relationship between the main characters a bit taboo. I don't want to give too many spoilers away, but if you do like to read dark romances, then this read is for you. It's a very, very steamy read. The dialogues between the main characters are way too hot to handle! Will He Ever Be Mine is mainly navigated from Nyra's POV.

Will he ever be Mine, the debut novel by V. Simran
I was eager to read this as soon as she told me she was writing a story that was
▪forbidden
▪possessive hero
▪dirty talking hero
▪some real hot smexy times
Reading the book, I can say she checked it all. Riaan is possessive and so hot, 🥵
Forbidden means we get to see the angst.
This is book 1 in a duet and therefore the characters and plot are developing.
We also see her struggle to accept the forbidden fruit and knowing the chaos it will ensure.
The unique thing for me- this is set in India and has full Indian characters, which is great to read
and given the sub-context of how society views relationship here and that also forbidden one,
made this an interesting read.
The cliffhanger had me 😲 like what a way to end the book because I am eagerly waiting to read
what happens next.

I struggle while writing this as I am torn about how I feel. I believe that in theory, this could have been an incredible book and for some, it may very well be. However for me, it was just okay.
While I enjoyed it more often then not, it was entirely too easy to be distracted by the constant need of an editor. I also felt that it was not only rushed but also lacked a sense of a well thought dynamic plot.
Still, it was not all bad. The concept was nevertheless intriguing and I loved that last scene. It was only a matter of time. That one scene alone makes me want to read the next installment of the book just to see how it all turns out.

I do not know what I just read but it’s like witnessing and then driving past a bad car accident. It happened so fast and was so terrible I couldn’t look away.
If you want to know how reading this book felt just think of reading a Wattpad one direction fan fiction from like 2014 written by a 16 year old virgin. And ontop of that it’s uncomfortable because it’s giving sweet home Alabama grooming pedo vibes, because unlike Credence they’re very much blood related and knew each-other as kids.
Despite all that , I will probably be getting the second one just to see where she goes w it. It’s a nice quick palette cleanser after reading serious books. Gave me and my book group chat a bit of a laugh.

What a debut
I am so proud of all these new authors going out there and making their dreams come true.
Simran's debut was such a great start for her writing journey. Giving up a taboo steamy read that you can't help but need to know what's going to happen next.
Nyra, fell for Riaan when she was just a teen. Never forgetting about him she's shocked to stumble upon him her first days away from home.
Riaan, knows how wrong it is to want Nyra but he's done worrying about that. The time has come to make Nyra his.
Can't wait to read the conclusion of this duet.

I can't get over this being Simran's first book, a great read.
Riaan was a obsessive male become obsessed with Nyra.
I loved how Nyra's character developed through the book.
Slow burn and angsty.
What a ending...I'm needing book asap.
Plot was a bit slow in places but i thoroughly enjoyed this dark taboo read.

ZERO STARS. That will be a no for me dawg. TRIGGER WARNINGS need to be clearly labeled. I literally googled the warning and did not find that THEY ARE COUSINS. WTF. I’m scarred for life. Nope. No. Not happening. DNF.

Did I read this book in one sitting? Yes. I was intrigued when I read it's a taboo romance with Indian characters and in the same city my college is. It was steamy, well written and quick.

I want to rate this higher but I just cant! If you end up liking this book, just prepare yourself for book 2. It was not what I expected the story to go and it gets super intense. Theres graphic topics in book 2 that im writing about here because nothing upsets me more than going into a book I didnt know had multiple parts and then the story taking a dark turn.
I have a hard time dropping books just because so when I learned that I had to read a second book, I was kind of annoyed. It was tough to get through the first book. Only because the dude just Isnt what I enjoy my book man to be. I am not a fan of Riaan.
If it spicy? Yes. Very much so! I almost wish the story went in a different direction because of how spicy it was. I enjoyed the writing and the detailed scenes! Its why I would rate this book higher but because of the personalities and honestly the sexual themes, I rated it what I did. I would love to read a completely different themed book from the writer because holy moly her writing is HOT.
