"You're going into heat," Elijah whispered, his eyes shining liquid blue, his face twisting with restraint. "The mating call is in my blood, too. My control is slipping."
His words didn't make sense, but it no longer mattered. Lust burned through me like wildfire. In its wake, nothing could survive, except my savage need for this archangel.
I must take him raw and hard until he couldn't take it, and then, I'd still have him, marking him as mine over and over. He'd beg and scream, but I still wouldn't stop.
Three smoking-hot, powerful immortals hunt me in Hell.
A primordial vampire. A Fae prince. A Sváva archangel.
They claim I shouldn’t be a gladiator slave as I'm the lost queen of Atlantis. They say I’m their fated mate.
Their reckless words make no sense, until they awaken a power within me. Now it demands to relentlessly mate with all three warriors. This mixed boxed set includes:
The Burn of the Underworld The Rise of the Underworld The Dragonian’s Witch The Witch’s Consort
If you love strong heroines, possessive alpha males who take no prisoners when it comes to their women, and lots of steam and heart-pounding action, you’ll enjoy this sizzling hot collection!

I didn’t live that book 2 ended on what felt like a cliffhanger with no solution and no sign of a third book. What was Merlin doing? Will he and ayanna work things out? It felt very unfinished and unsatisfying
The First Witch was my first and favorite books by Meg. I was thrilled to read about Freyja and Ares daughter and really enjoyed the story. My only complaint was Merlin's storyline. I feel he had the hardest job and really got the short end of the stick and his story didn't feel complete to me. I loved reading Freyja and Ares story again though. It will always be my favorite.
DNF - quit at page 94 The books by this author tend to be hit or miss for me, so I wasn’t sure I was going to like this to start with, but thought I’d give it a try. There is no world building or maybe I should say “background” for how this starts or how the FMC is in the dimension of Hell. I didn’t get it, didn’t follow it, so it ended up feeling like just a lot of crazy ramblings. I needed some background, even if it’s the RH guys talking more about it, not just that she’s the missing princess, but why she’s the missing princess or how she ended up there or how they found out she’s there. As to characters, I didn’t like Calamity, she is an irritating character. I didn’t like Elijah (a Sváva archangel, whatever that is) either, he gave off a “thinks he’s better than everyone else” vibe. Maximus (a primordial vampire, whatever that means) was interesting if more likable of all the characters, but barely got any interactions with, then there’s Ash, the Fae prince, or almost just a “mention” of Merlin, the mage, to have much opinions on them. Sad, but my favorite part of the book was the tiger! LOL I just felt like this was all crammed together & still in rough draft form or something not a polished & finished book.
At my age (approaching 60), life is way too short & my time is too important to force myself to read a book I'm not enjoying, especially when there are so many other books out there waiting to be read.
This was an absolutely crazy story and collection. The only thing that I would honestly change is I wish the last two stories about the dragon hybrid and the queen would have been the first stories versus the story of the daughter going first. The scenes and the characters are so and dad I absolutely cannot put it down and Lily finish the entire thing in four days! I would recommend this to anybody.
Read the first 2 of 4 books. Not a terrible story. I almost wish it wasn’t as rushed. Agree with another reviewer that a better proofreader was needed. One chapter she’s not wearing panties and the next page/chapter she’s talking about her panties. It had only been 30 seconds later in the story. Among many other errors that one bothered me the most hahaha. When I realized that was the end of Calamity’s story and the next two books are something else I decided to DNF this book.
While the FMC story arc was good, the ties with mates and redemption arcs left something to be desired. Too many loose ends and not enough girth (hehe) to really get my hooks into the story.
Spoilers *#!?
The mating scenes were hot, but repetitive. The main bad guys death was anticlimactic. It left one mated fate up in the air. The groups future is still unknown.
I usually enjoy reading this author’s books. Note books 3-4 should be read first. There should have been another book after the rise of the underworld. Merlin’s story is incomplete. I felt confused and irritated. I didn’t even read freya and ares’ story because a was too disappointed.
The only thing I didn't like was the missed proof reading . I dislike having to keep rereading something to make it make sense!!! Otherwise a great book!
The stories would have been better if started with Freya and Ares and then gone into the daughter's. I was disappointed that there were parts not finished, such as Merlin and his mate or the immortal mix for Ares. Good overall though.
I loved and felt like I lived the unfolding love story. There are a lot of twists and turns, and I have found an author where I could not predict the plot twists. Loved the passion and drama, the hot erotic scenes! Add this to your reading list!
I love this story. I wish Freya and ares story would have came first for a bit of a background from their daughters pare ts but was an amazing story and characters were perfect
So disappointed. The first two books are one series, I think. But there’s so many unanswered questions. Then the next two books are about someone else? So confused
This whole series is absolutely one of my most favorite! Kick butt fantasy and true love melded in to an action packed storyline. Such a pleasure to read. Very nice!
The first 2 books pretty much revealed the parents’ stories. This whole journey is all about Calamity having her mating fever and Killian always hungry and wants to eat.
I so enjoyed reading this set of stories. My biggest complaint is I wish each section was longer. I have a question on the order the author chose, but all in all I loved them. Magic and steam? What’s not to enjoy? I look forward to reading more for this author!
