What happens when disaster strikes and you have to leave your home? Jason and his family must make their way across Minnesota to reach the safety of their cabin. Will they make it? What will they encounter? Chairman Oswald has proof that President Evans has betrayed the country. How will he act to get America back on its feet and bring the traitors to justice?
The first book seemed to have somewhat of a story to it but left you hanging! I hate books that have no endings. Any way I thought the second book would clear up some issues but I was wrong. This is just a competition between each chapter to see how much violence can be crammed into it how sad I thought this author had possibilities!
Disappointing in that the evil motorcycle gang is so intellectually superior and able to track and fight destroying whole towns. I’ve never met such an inept dog that wouldn’t know if a stranger was around. Altogether I’m tired of really interesting, moral characters getting killed. I’ve read hundreds of thrillers, mysteries, black ops, spy novels. Never saw such wholesale slaughter. Not entertaining. If I want reality I’ll watch the evening news.
This book is the second in a series. It is the author's second book. For a new author I am pleased to say the editing was well done. I have a difficult time reading a poorly edited book. This story caught me with book one and I was pleased this book maintained my interest.
I chose this rating because S.M. Little wrote one of the most riveting books, filled with twists and turns that you wouldn't expect. Also, he makes the reader feel as if they are right along with the characters on a hardcore fight for their survival.
I just finished this and searching for words for a review. I do not do reviews from the back cover or do spoilers. So let me say this Read it! There is good bad and ugly in this but an awesome author!! S.M. Little keep up the great job you are doing.!!
I have really enjoyed this series by s.m. Little. Great characters and just a good well written couple of books. Looking forward to the next one.....hope it’s soon!
