This is the fifth and last book in the series and is the conclusion to Lydia's story. This has been an incredible series that has taken us on an emotional and heartwarming journey. It's had it's share of drama and heartbreak but also hope. The characters were well developed and interesting. The story line has twists, surprises and lots of emotion. A great series as we watch Lydia find a new love interest in Richard and battle danger from her estranged husband. There have been several cliffhangers during the series that caused some sleep loss. LOL. Not wanting to be a spoiler but things are coming to a head with her vindictive ex William and the police. Lydia is finally healing from Williams vicious attack. Are love and peace finally on the agenda for Lydia? There's a great ending and all the loose ends are cleared up and there's no cliffhanger. Yea. I read an arc copy via the author and voluntarily chose to write a review. A great series you don't want to miss.
This was a very well written book. After a lot of cliff hangers & stunts by her husband of 42 years, the last book left off where her husband had stabbed her & left her to die. He told her he’d never divorce her. Now this book bring this drama to an end. Does Lydia live? Do they find William? Does William harm anyone else? Is Beatrice going to be ok? What happens to Richard? Is he going to be ok? There is some good news Lydia’s son gets engaged & her daughter has here twins. Will there be a happy ever after??? I received this book in exchange for a review.
In the conclusion to the Miami Beach Series, we will get answers to any questions we had from reading the previous books. I’ve read every one of these books and they each got better. We learn what Martin, Lydia’s son, has to tell her. We learn what will happen with Lydia and Richard. Wait until you find out what Robby wants to name the twins Sam and him are expecting. No spoilers from me, so grab your copy and see what happens.
I received an advanced reader copy of this book and this is my voluntary and honest review.
This book is the last book in the Miami Beach series. Book five picks up where book four ended. Will Lydia finally get rid of her criminal/abusive husband William. The police are on the lookout for William as Lydia mends from his vicious attack. She struggles with police questions as the search continues.
Samantha and Robby become parents to their precious twins as Lydia seeks to get a divorce and plan a wedding. Hopefully Richard and Lydia get their happily ever after
Thank you to the author for an ARC. This is my honest opinion.
"When will you realize that I take care of you as much as you take care of me?"
With this story, the series is complete. With the opening of this book with a celebration to the closing with another, Grace Meyer stitches all the loose ends as her relationship with Richard grows and strengthens so that she can deal with the aftermath of her attempt to permanently end things with her first husband.
This is a great ending to the series with all the loose ends tied up. You definitely need to read all the books in order to get the full enjoyment and appreciation.
I received an ARC from the author and this is my honest and voluntary review.
Finally, all ? are answered in this, the last book of the series. What a book and answers to the storylines that had been woven. Good chuckles or smirks throughout this last novella. A good, fun finish to an enjoyable series!
