This is what a Sci-Fi adventure novel is all about. Evolution Man is the total package! A compelling story with fantastic characters. There are surprises at every turn. Hooks you from its powerful beginning to its shocking end. You won’t be able to put it down. A must-read!

EVOLUTION MAN by Charles F. Millhouse is a fast-paced novel that brings back great memories of one of my favorite TV shows.
I picked this up from the author at a Pulp show and I was not disappointed. Charles and I share a love for the old Six Million Dollar Man show with Lee Majors. This book reads like a love letter to the show, as well as for the work of creator Martin Caidin. Still, while the book's inspirations are obvious to many of us, the new hero that Col. Steve Austin inspired now forges his own path.
Like Austin, hero Caidin Wells could be impulsive and even reckless. But in their hearts, they are heroes. While the science that amplified their abilities differ (Austin's bionics and Wells' nanotech), the action and motivations are as fresh as today's news.
With some real twists at the end and the setup for sequels in place, the book is a satisfying read and another triumph for Charles F. Millhouse. And the Jeffrey Hayes cover should be a poster on everyone's wall. Great work all around and I'm ready for that sequel to show up.

I absolutely loved this book! As much of a love letter to The Six Million Dollar Man and 70s Sci fi as a whole, it is truly it's own thing! It's fast paced, the characters are at the same time fresh and familiar, in the best ways possible. I want more!!
