Lizzie adored romance movies, probably because her real life love life was seriously depressing. She had big dreams of becoming a screenwriter and a part time job at the video rental shop meant free rentals. When the cute guy with an attitude problem behind the counter, begins to let his guard down; Lizzie finds herself center stage in a whirlwind romance that could rival any of her beloved romance movies.

Put that Aqua Net away and slip into something a little more comfortable with one of twelve couples as they fall in love in Pine Grove.

What a fabulously fun jump back to the 80’s with “How Will I Know” by C. Lesbirel. It’s a sweet tale of a boy, Zack who meets the popular girl, Lizzie, and a box of kittens. Well, that’s not all, but that’s where it starts..... and there’s so much more to love. Growing up in that era, I truly appreciated and enjoyed all the 80’s references sprinkled throughout, it really took me back- I loved it! ~Angie❤️

Zack and Lizzie have been the MOST fun couple to write. I love their sweet chemistry and adorable meet-cute. In the difficult time of Covid 19, I am certain this story is going to make readers smile, as much as it made my heart happy. The eighties is such a fun packed era with roller skates, Rubik's cubes, neon leggings and everything in between, this retro romance will leave you with all the warm and fuzzy feels that a true love story should.

Zack and Lizzie made my heart happy! I honestly wish the story was longer because I enjoyed reading about them so much. This short story was set in the 80s. It was so fun to get a little glimpse of that era.

Zach is such a sweet hard working guy that has a major crush on Lizzie. He thinks she's out of his league since they come from different backgrounds, so he's ok with the little interaction they have every time she goes to rent a movie.

Lizzie loves romance movies every Friday she's ready to rent a new one, her biggest dream is becoming a screenwriter, she doesn't seem to get much support from those around her, but she's determined to follow her dreams.

An unexpected situation and destiny put Zach and Lizzie together, allowing them to get to know each other better; finally, they see how much more there's to the other despite their differences, they have a unique connection.

C. Lesbirel made me so happy with this story. I will definitely be reaching out to re-read this story more than once 💕

How Will I Know by author C. Lesbirel was a breath of fresh air. I was delighted to revisit the 80's. Without a doubt, I loved being a teenager during that period. If you are a fan of the 80's, you will undoubtedly connect with the references. The author did a good job with the historical elements. Wow, it's so strange to think of the 80's being historical, lol.

There were many connections I had while reading. And some parts of the story brought back some cringeworthy memories for me as well, which I enjoyed. This book, unfortunately is a short one and I would have loved a lengthier book. That said, I adored this short, sweet and adorable story and definitely recommend it.

The 80's Baby series is a literary contribution consisting of several authors; all take place in the small town of Pine Grove but each are uniquely standalone stories. I have read one other in the series and am looking forward to more. Each author has their own style of writing, so each book will be unique.

How Will I Know made my heart happy! Loved getting to know Zach & Lizzie! This story was short my only wish was it was a bit longer because I enjoyed these two so much! This story took me back to my 80's teen years! How l miss those years!

How Will I Know

I'm seriously digging this 80's series. Some of them are more true to how it really was in the 80's and some of them are full of 80's cliches and obviously written by an author born well after the 80's but they are all super fun and take me back to a time that was more carefree!!

A cute short story about a rich girl and a poor boy who are able to look past their stations in life and fall in love. Story has a Happy for now ending. No epilogue.

How Will I Know completely safe and free of abuse and cheating, no ow/om drama, no others after meeting, no sexy times just a few mild kissing scenes.

How Will I Know is a fun flashback to the 80s. I adored this short story that gave us the opportunity to meet Zach and Lizzie. In true C. Lesbirel fashion, this story is extremely well-written and drew me in from the start. I finished this story in one sitting and my only wish is that it was longer. I want more!!!!

Totally Awesome!

I was so excited for this release! The 80's are one of my favorite decades! Clare gave me everything and more. She took me back to when I was a kid at Skate-A-Way. Zach and Lizzie are so cute! Reminds me off Zack and Kelly. Loved everything about this short story.
