Mastering Meredith

Rate this book
Rohan is known throughout the province as a lover, as cruel, as a man unbridled and controlled by his passions. Taken as hostage by a man more monstrous than him, he awakens in the bed of a woman he should have memory of—but doesn’t. Meredith lives alone in the forest with her young son, pretending to be mute in order to stay safe. But she secretly wishes for the danger of the man she saved from captivity, even though she has him as a captive too. She knows better than to steal him away and to try to keep him. He knows better than to test her and to make her stay. A wicked and dangerous game of cat and mouse ensues. Only it’s not just them playing. The monster in the darkness wants to play their game also, forcing them to decide if they should join together—continuing on as enemies, or as the lovers they are meant to be. This is book two in the Cruel Masters series and can be enjoyed independently. Publisher’s This Dystopian romance contains elements of danger, mystery, suspense, sensual scenes, and power exchange. If any of these offend you, please do not purchase.

Author of dystopian erotic romance, laden with alpha males and feisty submissives. Hoarder of books, coffee drinker, and fan of praying to the late night Muse. Ambivert; INFP. Fan-fiction aficionado. Wanderer of the forest. Storm-spy and eternal child. Gluttonous for writing, and reading, and painting oils. Lover of all things romantic, passionate, and a bit dirty. A thoroughly enjoyable book, great addition to the series
This book I thoroughly enjoyed and I must say that it was a great addition to the series and I am sure that other readers like me will also think the same. This is Rohan’s story he has been captured by his enemy and he finds himself being rescued by Meredith quite unexpectedly.
When he wakes up he finds that he has in fact been tied to a bed very securely and as he threatens her with a good real of various painful punishments he realises that there is in fact a rather younger member in the room that seems to be taking in the going on, that is in fact her three year old son Samuel.
This is a very entertaining read and as always, I look forward to future books by this author.
reason, she ties him to her bed. When he wakes, he is not happy to be there and threatens reprisal. He does censor what he says to her when her three-year-old son, Samuel is in the room. But the two of them talk at cross purposes for most of the book. There is a HEA.
I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy

Meredith rescues Rohan but is keeping him captive. Rohan is not happy about it at all and lets Meredith know in no uncertain terms. When her son enters the room he tames his language which was very thoughtful of him. You can feel the relationship start to change and the give and take between the two. There are other forces out there, and they two are playing a game with them. The characters are wonderful the dialogue is great. Their interaction and development is wonderful. The story line is great and it hooked me from the beginning. This is the second story and I did not read the first but that did not detract from this story. Great book.

We continue on with the series. This book is better than the first was. We now have Rohan's story. He has been captured by his enemy and somehow, Meredith rescues him. But for some reason, she ties him to her bed. When he wakes, he is not happy to be there and threatens reprisal. He does censor what he says to her when her three year old son, Samuel is in the room. But the two of them talk at cross purposes for most of the book. There is a HEA.

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. Rohan and Meredith are who make up the second book in the Cruel Masters series. He is kept captive then saved just to become her captive. He just ends up tied to her bed than his last situation. There is suspense, drama, danger, and secrets. They have danger stalking them both now and have to make some choices.

This is the second book in the series but it can be read as a standalone. Meredith has rescued Rohan but now she is kept him her prisoner. The chemistry between them is soon heated but his previous enemy isn’t quite finished yet. Will they work together to defeat him or stay enemies? Fast-paced read with loads of drama, suspense and steam. I liked it.
