I would have given the Blue Ogre 5/5 if this volume had only consisted of Blue Ogre content. The minus one star comes from the repetitive plot line of Takemichi being a punching bag and constantly just magically solving things by using his words and "motivational speeches". Like bro - you're in a gang and you're mentally 26, how have you not improved physically or even tried to 170 chapters into this manga? 0.o

Since I finished TR i wanted to delete this review cuz the ending was so bad. So so so ridiculously bad. But these were my honest thoughts when I was reading so... If u like TR at this point I kinda get u but hear me out... Its not worth it.

this manga has flaws, too many by the way.

but I don't care! I love Tokyo Revengers!

Everything this manga proposes to do, it achieves in some way. The butterfly effect still intriguing. The fight scenes are dynamic and minimally realistic. Takemichi's romance with Hina is impeccable and so important to the story. I love seeing these two just hanging out having fun and encouraging each other, saying nice things to one another.

There aree 3 major female characters on the story, each one is strong in a different way. None of them are like these cardboard female characters that appears so often in shonen manga. Yuzuha's arc, the way that Hakkai look up to her... is a perfect example. So natural, justified, makes sense.

The secondary characters are charismatic and have a well-defined personality. Kisaki is a pain in the ass, I hate him. Perfect. Even the time travel stuff, the author does it in a way takamichi can't do much, so the stakes are there. all this is enough to give 5 stars.


The fact that is a manga about delinquents, is a cherry on top

و اینم از جلد نوزدهم مانگاtokyo revengers....
این جلد بی نهایت هیجان انگیز بود و همچنین دردناک و بالاخره تومان دوباره یکپارچه شد و مبارزه رو با تنجیکو شروع کرد....
این جلد همچنان در اوج آرک تنجیکو هستیم که توی این ارک واقعا تاکه میچی خودش رو خیلی خفن جلوه داد مخصوصا توی این جلد و شخصیتangryهم واقعا خیلی خفن بود وقتی از کنترل خارج شد و بالاخره در اخر جلد مایکی و دراکن وارد داستان شدن و نبرد با تنجیکو به اوج خودش رسید که مطمئنا توی جلد بعد خیلی خفن میشه این درگیری.....
آرت بی نهایت خفنی داشت مخصوصا روی خود کرکتر اصلی که خیلی پر جزییات کار شده بود و حرف های تاکه میچی که توی بالن ها بود رو باید قاب بگیرن و این حرف ها همه نشان از شجاعت بی اندازش بودن....
این مانگا رو از دست ندید....

Alright, the fight got intense and I quite liked it.

Takemichi's determination is a thing of legend and stories.

I feel like the whole volume was just a huge hommage to Takemichi and all that he has endured till this point and how much he has grown as well. And it makes sense considering how this arc has been framed. Either way, you have to admire him for never giving up even if the odds are stacked against him.

Getting to go into more detail as to what this whole lifestyle means to these kids is also a gratifying bit of information to obtain. As exhilarating as all the fighting is, it cannot be left aside that it is disturbing and not something that they should be doing. And while the explanation does not disavow those points it does do a satisfactory job of explaining their reasoning and making me accept it more. I am very glad we got it.

Hina cracked me up a bit with her reasoning here but, well, I love her and I'm glad she is there to support Takemichi, and bring the cavalry.
