Sebastian: Do I have a Valentine? Ha, with the busy life I lead, dating isn’t even possible, let alone a valentine. That’s alright though, I enjoy what I do, and it’s helped by the best assistant I’ve ever had. Without Trevor, I’d probably be drowning under it all. Our strictly professional relationship is great. Well, until I open a message that changes everything…
Trevor: Between a full-time job with overtime and school, I don’t have time for anything else. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy what I do, and it pays the bills. Sebastian is a great boss, and I enjoy working with him...and not just because he’s hot. At least, that’s how it was until everything got tossed on its head over a little mistake. How the hell do I fix this?
Working extra hours over Valentine’s weekend and with a deadline looming, Sebastian and Trevor could do without distractions. Then a mix up with a sexy message send’s both men into a tailspin and makes them question everything…

Wrong Message, Right Valentine is a cute little novella by Romeo Alexander. This is my first book by him.
Sebastian Price is twenty eight years old and works for Mont Creed, a financial institution in Boston. Sebastian is gifted at what he does but not so well managing his office. He’d been through many personal assistants until Trevor came along. They clicked perfectly. The job wasn’t easy. Seb worked crazy long hours But Trevor just seemed to understand him.
Trevor loves his job. He’s juggling college classes plus all the hours working for Sebastian. Not only is Seb a great boss but he’s easy on the eyes as well. But he tries not to think of him that way. He’s his boss. Until the day he accidentally sends a text meant for someone else to Sebastian.
This was really cute. Neither of these men had time for a relationship but together, they just fit. Sebastian knows he is risking everything with Trevor but he just can’t seem to stay away.
I read this in just a couple of hours and it was a fun way to spend my afternoon. I look forward to checking through this author’s library to see what else might catch my eye.
This oops-I-sent-the-wrong-text, boss/employee romance was fun and cute and sweet and I really enjoyed it.
This quick read is low on the angst, has the perfect amount of steam, and chemistry I could feel. Fun banter between Sebastian and Trevor had me smiling quite often.
What a perfect read with Valentine’s Day right around the corner. This was my first read by this author and I look forward to more.
I’ve decided to explore all different holiday romances lately apparently so why not fit in a Valentine’s Day one! I’ve read a few books by this author before and have enjoyed them and I am super happy with how much I ended up loving this book.
Trevor is Sebastian’s PA and have worked together for a while which helps with their relationship as this is a shorter novella. Because they already know each other it don’t feel rushed at all and we got a great view into them exploring their feelings together.
This was fairly low-angst for a forbidden romance and I really appreciated that for my current mood. I really liked how they got past the forbidden part and had their HEA! I absolutely recommend if you love a great workplace, forbidden romance!
I don't particular like the boss/employee trope but I picked this one up because I love what Romeo Alexander does with his characters and plots. I was not disappointed in this one.
Indeed, I was a bit surprised at how somewhat oblivious boss Sebastian and Trevor, his free-spirit but extremely efficient and organized PA managed to stay away from any real after-work relationship until, oops!, Trevor screws up text addresses and opens the way for a sweet, and sometimes hot and heavy, romance.
How they navigate their increasingly deep relationship within the confines of employer/employee rules is somewhat sketchy and how it's resolved is totally off-the-wall. So what. This is cute and fun.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. There is nice foreshadowing at the beginning of the book. Both Sebastian and Trevor have noticed one another but don't act on it as they believe they are in a boss/employee relationship. During a long busy day working alone in the office, Trevor accidentally sends the wrong message to two different people and one is Sebastian. It is this naughty message that kick starts a more personal relationship between them. despite them trying to deny it is only a fling, the relationship deepens to much more. When they are caught and believe word has reached their boss, it comes out that there was no need to worry. Trevor has no boss/employee relationship with Sebastian and they are free to be together. Sebastian and Trevor are in love with each other and happy both working together and in their personal relationship.
This was brilliantly sweet and romantic. No angst, total feel good factor. Perfect for Valentine’s and beyond. The characters are gorgeous together. A great story that let’s you forget about the real world for a few precious moments.

I absolutely loved this short story! Sebastian and Trevor are total #goals and I loved them! Their story has decent heat, low angst, and excellent banter; you can’t go wrong giving it a read!
This was ok. It was a perfectly fine, rather short office romance. I didn’t come to care much about the characters (possibly because the work was so short) and found their banter, at times, a bit forced. I wished for a bit more of a Valentine's Day feel - more romance, I suppose. And I found the interactions with Eileen, the boss/frenemy, odd at best. It just wasn’t for me.
If you’re looking for a fun and quick steamy read, I’ve got just the recommendation for ya. This book had hardly no angst nor major intrigues — though, not gonna lie, something towards the end had me turning into a nervous Nellie for like 5 seconds —, and the banter was *chefs kiss*, making it hard to put down.
Sebastian and Trevor’s chemistry was amazing. They constantly complemented each other, not only in their personal lives but also with at work, both skillsets combined making them the perfect ~dream team~.
This isn’t a huge hearts and flowers type of Valentine’s story; in fact, it didn’t feel much like a Valentine’s story at all except for the coincidence of time of year. Typically, it pays to be careful when mixing work with a personal life, but in this case, a big “oops” was just the right thing to kick the wheels in motion for this boss and his assistant.
Such a cute Valentine’s Day book! It was a sweet, easy read with some steam that I’m sure I’ll reread over and over. Definitely enjoy all of Romeo Alexander’s books but this may be one of my new faves!
One of the other random books I stumbled upon in my Recommended Books list was "Wrong Message, Right Valentine" by Romeo Alexander.
["Sebastian: Do I have a Valentine? Ha, with the busy life I lead, dating isn’t even possible, let alone a valentine. Working extra hours over Valentine’s weekend and with a deadline looming, Sebastian and Trevor could do without distractions. Then a mix up with a sexy message send’s both men into a tailspin and makes them question everything…"] Such an easy read. Such a cliche trope. Such a rookie mistake (the exactly wrong picture sent to precisely wrong person). SUCH a good novella!
After I work on the stacks (and stacks) of books that I just bought (and all of the ones I already have piled on my shelves--and the ones in my wishlist on my Kindle)--or frankly, let's be honest, probably before, I'm going to check out the other things that Romeo published.
Oops Sebastian‘s life was full on with work to the point that he felt he had no space in his life for anyone else he was happy that his parents had excepted him as bisexual but his mother was full on trying to get him in a relationship and it was exhausting but still he stayed strong that was until he’s very good looking personal assistant Trevor sent him the wrong text message. Trevor was working as a PA for Sebastian but also going to School to get his engineering degree but he always found time to play. Thankfully he had a good friend called Darren he didn’t want any strings attached. So one weekend which happens to be Valentine weekend Darren sent him a naughty pic and Trevor was about to send one back when he got a text from his boss and in the confusion and trying to get back to his office in a hurry he sent the wrong text to them both. Darren wanted to know why he was setting up a meeting?? And Sebastian hadn’t replied. But Trevor knew the picture that he had sent was going to be a big big problem. That’s all you’re getting for me because I don’t wanna give anything away but these two are just so hot together. But can it work?? The boss and his PA? Or will this fizzle out to just one hot weekend?? Oh dear dear this is so so good it just put the biggest smile on my face. I liked the banter between these two but the connection they had was just magical. A really good quick read Valentines weekend.

I took a little bit of a break from Romeo’s books after reading most of his series but I’m so glad that I decided to come back and start with this one. It was a very quick read for me but it was very well written. I love the tropes and the basis for this book as I do with most of the books that Romeo writes. I love that this book was fast paced and that the relationship between Travis and Sebastian developed quickly. I love that while Travis is the one that started their relationship it is Sebastian in most instances that takes their relationship to the next level. I love the whole scene in the hotel with their shared bath and settling down for the evening. I love that it’s the one time that their boss is supportive in some way shape or form as she doesn’t really say anything about their relationship until they bring it up because it doesn’t pertain to their job or break any rules. I think that whole section overall was just really well written and I really enjoyed it! I loved the epilogue to in that we get to see their relationship continue to develop and that the book kind of ends on their relationship the same way that it started! Overall, I really enjoyed this book and the only thing that I would change is that I wish it was longer as I often do with most books especially those written by Romeo!! I can’t wait to continue diving into his books and connecting with the characters he has written!!

Sometimes Fate steps in and gives people a little push to start them moving toward their destiny. In this case, when a text message asking “You and me tonight? ;) ” accompanied by a very revealing picture, is accidentally misdirected and ends up going to the wrong recipient, it can start a chain reaction releasing all those feelings that have been suppressed and held back to keep things “professional”. In this case, Trevor and his boss, Sebastian Price, have both been quietly attracted to each other and have refused to act on what they feel. They work well together, they respect each other, and they are both hard-working professionals. But the sexy Valentine’s Day message and photo inadvertently sent by Trevor to his boss changed the entire dynamic of their relationship. Will they fight to continue their office romance now that they realize what they have? Or will workplace rules and regulations put a stop to it?
This was a cute story about two people who were perfect together. Their working relationship was amazing where their skillsets complemented each other’s to form a flawless partnership. Grab your copy and find out just how special that Valentine’s Day turned out for them and whether a HEA might still be possible.
Sebastian Price comes from money. He has a high-powered position as a “money dealer.” Sebastian is very good-looking. He’s so busy with work, he just doesn’t have time to date.
Trevor is Sebastian’s personal assistant. He’s gay. And he’s amazing at his job.
The (lack of) editing is severe. Misused words, outright missing words, punctuation mistakes, possessive apostrophes where they don’t belong (“one of her son’s”), comma splices, and garish absence of hyphens.
Extremely repetitious. Sebastian is rich, Sebastian is successful. If we ever forget, Trevor is here to remind us that there’s a vast wealth disparity.
Working late together on Valentine’s Day to meet a decline, Trevor accidentally sends his boss a provocative selfie. It was meant for Trevor’s FB.
One mediocre sex scene; the rest are fade to black. Paltry relationship development. The casual nature of their…arrangement…goes on for far too long.
Bizarre resolution to the workplace “romance” dilemma.
The constant iterations of their affair being “a chance to find out if we’re right” or “if this is right for us” are irritating. Repeated with different verbiage throughout the book.
The first thing I have to say is that I do not normally read M/M stories. But something about this just drew me to grab it and read it. This is a boss and PA story. Both are hot sexy men that are attracted to one another but they want to keep their jobs professional. Sebastian and Trevor are perfect on the job as well as off the job as we learn. Trevor keeps Sebastian's work organized for him. But not Sebastian has to work the weekend and Trevor offers his assistance. While working Trevor sends a text that was meant for someone else. This makes things get hot and steamy over this weekend and it is Valentine's Day weekend. These two have a great relationship but when they are found out there is drama. Of course, there is. Can these two still work together and be together? Do they love enough to keep things how they should be for a workplace love and after work love? Check out this story and see what you think.

Loved this! I would say this was a special Valentine's treat to read. From start to finish I enjoyed it. Not to long and not to short to be rushed...just right to spend an afternoon cozied up reading. Boss and personal assistant ...easy working relationship...both like and respect each other. There is that sexual tension but both are willing to keep it professional until that sexy message sent by Trevor to his boss Sebastian threw things all cray cray. OMG how things went to subtle to blatant quickly. Loved how they got to know each other(the joys of dating...**deep sigh**)...the romance was sweet but also steamy(that after hours office scene was extremely HOT).. Hardly any angst but the author did have me on pins and needles towards the end. The ending/outcome was nicely done and it left me with alot of warm and fuzzies inside.

This is an author I don’t even need to read the review before diving in. I know I’m going to have a good time with some lovable guys. After reading this book, I was not disappointed.
Trevor and Sebastian work together quite well; they also both harbor a secret crush on the other. The connection the feel has been there from the get go, have an easy banter, and seem to be compatible on many levels, but have been nothing but professional to each other. Well, until two text threads get accidentally switched, and the worst has happened. Will the reaction be as bad as Trevor fears, or will Seb surprise him? I highly recommend you take the time to find out you won’t be disappointed.
This is another well crafted story by the author, and I loved the characters. They were delightful and full of depth. I cannot wait to see what Romeo Alexander comes up with next.

This was a cute, sexy, swoony little MM romance that was absolutely PERFECT for a Valentine read. Trevor works for Sebastian in a cutthroat financial world. Trevor only has times for random romps with a friend and Sebastian doesn’t have time for anything. But when Trevor accidentally sends a sexy pic to Sebastian instead of his friend, both guys realize they’re drawn to each other more than they thought.
There was one sexy scene and the rest were told instead of shown. BUT, for the length of this one it was perfect. These two fell hard and fast and they were the perfect balance. I loved how Trevor called Sebastian Seb and I loved how Sebastian needed that. These two were honest and adorable.
Sebastian has a lot going for him: he's from a wealthy family, but he's pretty grounded. He's gorgeous, but doesn't let it make him arrogant. He's great at most parts of his demanding job--and for the parts he doesn't do so well (cough...organization...cough) he has Trevor. Trevor is awesome: witty, efficient, and great at helping Sebastian while simultaneously finishing his college degree. As friends, they have a great rapport. Also chemistry. So much chemistry that a single misdirected Valentine's Day text touches off a seriously steamy and simultaneously super sweet office romance. As a holiday romance, this one checked all the boxes for me: Sebastian and Trevor are perfect together. Extra points also for Eileen, who was not what I expected, in the best possible way.

This is a wonderful read, perfect for Valentine’s Day. It it completely feel-good and lighthearted with no relationship angst or miscommunication (other than the obvious wrong message that started everything)! Sebastian and Trevor are both gorgeous characters. Being boss/employee, although they’ve both noticed an attraction to the other, nothing can be done about it. It only takes a mistaken text for that attraction to be forced out in the open though. And once it is, they can barely keep their hands off one another. It certainly is steamy, but more than that it is romantic, with a true connection between the MCs. I loved the writing style after they gave in to their attraction, and I adored how so many days were passing and instead of easing off, it was only getting stronger as they fell in love bit by bit. Sweet, steamy and heartwarming!
Sebastian and Trevor's story was just the lighthearted Valentine's romance worth reading.
Sebastian feels his life is too busy to even entertain the thought of a relationship, let alone a Valentine. Being a man who is strictly business, Seb has a built-in excuse to remain distant. Then he receives a message that was meant for someone else...or was it?
Trevor is a student, and a more than full time assistant to Sebastian. Not really much time for anything else. Spending the Valentine's holiday weekend working overtime was not what he had in mind. Then the text message happened.
Dating your employer is supposed to be off the table. But what happens when the feelings are mutual? Can Trevor and Sebastian get the Valentine's Day they both need and want?

Terkesan seperti menikmati side dish terlebih dahulu while it last sebelum mendapatkan main course!
Dibalikkan lagi ke selera masing-masing dan memang aku ini SANGAT PICKY dan posesif terhadap para MCs yang harus PERFECT. lol
Efficiency reveals a lot about a person. Trevor was going to school, to be an engineer. He was working for Sebastian as a PA to make ends meet. Eileen was Sebastian's boss. Her family and his family tried to push them together to join the families. It was known that Trevor, kept Sebastian on top of his game. Trevor crushed on Sebastian. Sebastian was very aware of Trevor. but suppressed it. Rachel, was Eileen's PA and treated Trevor with contempt and he didn't know why. Seb always tried to keep one step in front of Eileen, to keep her off balance. Is it possible to have a workplace romance without impacting their jobs? Will they speak up and share their feelings? What will Eileen do? Will they lose their jobs? A few welcome surprises. Nice story. I received an ARC from Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
