STORY:
The author makes stalking look so sexy. This was a short read, but it read so good for my personal taste that I like. I got so much from this little novella. Lane is everything, and he can stalk me day or night (I don’t condone serious stalking). It was cute the way he watched over Brooke, and it was cute how Brooke tried to get him to make his move.
CHEMISTRY:
Brooke and Lane together were sexy, their stare downs were sexy, and they made this book sexy with their interactions. I think Lane and his personality along with his kindness made this book what it was for me.
SECONDARY CHARACTERS
I so can see this being a series. I can see it now, The Security Men of Blaze *wink wink* Mike in this book stood out to me, but he was already taken.
Overall, another book that I adore from the author as I am still very new to her work. I look forward to more in the future.

“My girl didn’t listen. And even though I’ve never talked to her or even touched her, she’s my girl.”
This is what I like to call a “Lunch Break” read. It’s so short you can finish it during one lunch break. I really enjoy stalker romances but wasn’t sure of what to make of a “safe” stalker romance. After reading this I think I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s just that the stalker doesn’t seem dangerous, has no bad intentions other than watching her and keeping her safe, and doesn’t seem to pose a threat to her. I quite enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend this book if you’re looking for a quick stalker read.

A sweet stalker romance between a successful curvy attorney and the hulky guard obsessed with her. He follows her around, not speaking a word until she retaliates- they have wild sex- fall in love and get their HEA.

somewhere between 3.5 and 4 stars
A super fast, enjoyable read.
The hero was more of a 'gentle' stalker, not 'I'll kill you with a knife' stalker and he was actually sweet and cute.
I liked the heroine, too.
The storyline was actually perfect for a super short novelette like this one.
It didn't have that wow effect I was looking for, but it was good nonetheless.
A super fast, enjoyable read.

Hero is a bouncer at a local club that Brooke attends with friends. She is a lawyer and she comes from old money. He feels he is not good enough for her so he pushes her away. That doesn't stop him from stalking her. Will he come to his senses before it's too late for them?
Good read but it needed an epilogue with babies! Sadly no virgins here.

All Kinds Of YUM!
Leave it to Hope to pack a whole lot of steam and sizzle in a short read. This book was a wonderful yummy treat for my lunch break.
What appears to be opposites attract really isn't all it seems to be. Obviously it's got the stalker element and the crazy possessive growly Alpha all rolled into one yummy package.

This was super fast read only like 48 pages I think.
Lane saw Brooke when she came into the club he works at and he’s been watching her ever since.
Brooke knows and after checking up on him with her cop sister-in-law, she decides she likes Lane’s eyes on her. She just wishes he would make a move.
This was cute but there were a couple things that didn’t work for me.
For starters, I really wish the story would have started when he first saw her, instead his stalking having already been established and I felt like we really missed out on the fun stuff, where they first notice each other. Those are the best parts of the book sometimes.
Another thing, I didn’t realize this was a BBW book. I hate reading about other people’s insecurities. If it’s mentioned that she has curves fine, but when she calls herself plus size and worries about dimples and crap like that, I don’t want to read about it. But another thing that kind of surprised me was Lane was kind of insecure when it came to Brooke. Which can be endearing but it definitely established Brooke as the dominant one in the relationship. So that didn’t really work for me either.
It was still cute but I’m kind of glad it was so short because I don’t think I could take much more of Lane’s self doubt or Brooke’s description of her physical self.

This book was utterly delicious, steamy, and shmekshay!
Lane and Brooke are equally obsessed with one another, and I loved that I absolutely got caught up in the whirlwind of their instalove and OTT behavior! He's growly and possessive, and she definitely wants her man!
It is a quick read, a fun read, a steamy read, and I thoroughly recommend!

Most men are inclined, to overlook women like her. But, trying to make nice with two of the girls, from the office, she ventures to one of the local, clubs. The girls are sweet, always looking for three guys so, they can all go out to dance, together. The thing is, Brooke always felt bad for the one that realizes, they're not getting the model perfect girl of their trio. Nope, only her.
She is now on her third weekend in a row, at the club, with the girls. Why? You ask, since she dislikes it so much? Well, there is a stalker with her name on his lips that she too is beginning to form an addiction to, also. She did just notice him at the club always watching her but in other avenues of her life. She’s not afraid, she feels comforted, knowing he is around. She inquired about his work, and as well as her sister-in-law the cop. He is harmless and has no record.
It's not, Lane she needs to worry about, her stalker, only lets her out of, his sights, for a few minutes. And before you know it, Brooke is demonstrating what an impressive right hook she delivers. Brooke is an attorney who comes from a wealthy prominent family, Lane is a bouncer at a local club. He sees her for the first time when she comes in with her coworkers. Clubs aren’t her scene but she wants to fit in and she likes the ladies. Lane is obsessed with her, he starts to stalk her, she’s interested too and with the help of her police officer sister-in-law she stalks him back. When a guy won’t take no for an answer Lane rescues her. That is the first time they exchange words, he drives her home and they share their first kiss. Knowing he can’t have more he leaves, a week later Brooke goes to the club alone on Friday and asks him if he wants to go on a date, he tells her he’s working but later that night he takes her to a back room and they have sex, afterwards he lets her leave. Feeling sad he didn’t stop her or ask to see her again, she skips going back the next day with her coworkers. The next day he follows her to a lunch meeting with another attorney, she can feel him there, but doesn’t see him. After the lunch she goes out the back and is pacing in an alley when he burst out the backdoor looking for her. She asks him again if he wants to date her and he again say no. She’s beyond frustrated, he tells he wants everything with her but is not good enough for her. She tells him he is and they both tell each other I love you. Epilogue three months later with Brooke winning her first big case, Lane now in training to be a police officer comes to court with her parents to celebrate. Before they join her family he proposes.

Lane is enamored by Brooke. He sees her and he can’t get her out of his head. He wants Brooke, but doesn’t think he is good enough for her, so he watches her and follows her. Brooke, however, doesn’t want to just be watched from afar. She takes matters into her own hands and confronts Lane.
I loved this sweet, OTT story with stalking and insta-lust/love. It was an unconventional romance, but it was sweet and well done.

This was a fast-paced steamy read.
It’s not the best I’ve read but not the worst either. There isn’t much depth to the characters. Yes, they have careers and desires for their lives, but there isn’t anything about them that makes you really care about them.
You can certainly feel the chemistry between them and the stalking side of things made it a little different. It wasn’t just one of them up to it; both of them were as bad as each other.
I would have liked a little more attention paying to her curvaceousness. It is mentioned, but I think the blurb made a bigger deal about it than the actual story. It’s one of the things that made me choose to read it, but it was quite lacking in the book itself.
Overall, this made for an enjoyable half an hour of reading.

Hope Ford delivers low drama, high heat and a romance NSFW in Stalking Her. When young, new attorney Brooke spots bouncer Lane at a club her colleagues take her to, she is enthralled - however, she figures an older, alpha man like her would never take a second look at an innocent, curvy girl like her. But then she notices herself being followed, and quickly realizes it is Lane. While he stalks her, she does her own digging; and instead of feeling threatened, she feels protected and just wants him all the more. Lane knows she comes from money and doesn't think he is good enough for her, so he tries to keep his distance. But sometimes temptation becomes too much... This is the kind of steamy romance you need to warm you up on a cold, winter's day and Hope Ford writes it to perfection.

First things first; I like the cover of this book!
Stalking her is a novella in the ‘’safe stalker’’ collection. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Brooke is an up and coming attorney with a stalker. A stalker that doesn’t mean any harm. Brooke is attracted to Lane but will he make a move when given a chance?
The chemistry between Brooke and Lane is clear to see and I liked them together. I loved how protective Lane was of Brooke.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.

Brooke is an attorny and shes got a stalker, one she feels doesnt want to harm her only own her. Lane works as a bouncer at a club where he first spots Brooke, he becomes obsessed with her. Brooke finds her self drawn to Lane but he has yet to approach her, that all changes when she decides to get his attention by dancing with another guy in the club. Their chemistry is instant and off the chart but Lane feels he is not good enough for the likes of Brooke, will they get a HEA? This is a well written steamy stalker romance, that although short it nicely paced and full of heat!

I love these type of stories, where the hero stalks our heroine. Lane was a bouncer at a local club Brooke attends with friends. He is too old, too jaded and doesn't feel good enough for a younger Brooke on her way to becoming a lawyer. That doesn't stop him from following her and watching her. At first, she is freaked out but then does her own digging and stalking Lane. I loved these two, Lane struggled with wanting to be there for her but not feeling like he has the right to do so. Brooke was adorable in her determination to get him. Great story, loved the ending and epilogue!

Hope Ford has become one of my must read authors and this book only adds to that decision. Ms. Ford know how to grab onto her readers from the 1st page to the last with her great storytelling and world building. Her characters are so delightful that you can't help cheer for their happily ever after. Lane and Brooke's story is of having a stalker, the best kind and knowing how to handle making sure that they are with you always. This book has everything that you could want; comedy, drama, joy and hot romance (it is a Hope Ford book after all). Please don't miss this absolute gem of a book.

One Issue... OTHERWISE Awesome
A NOTE TO THE AUTHOR:
When writing about a profession, it is helpful to have someone who is familiar with it do the proofreading. In her first court appearance, you had her acting as a prosecutor when she is a defense attorney. If her side “won,” then the defendant would have been found “not guilty”. This error didn’t detract from the work as a whole, but it took me out of the flow of the story. I’ve struggled with similar errors in other works, such as inappropriate descriptions of weapons and even vehicles. Sometimes, the devil truly is in the details.

So loved this
Brooke knows she is being followed and who it is Lane the bouncer at the club she has been to with colleagues from work. Brooke wants to talk to him but never gets the chance but when she is being assaulted in the club Lane comes to her rescue and from then on they keep getting closer to each other until Brooke can’t wait anymore. Brooke has felt his eyes on her all day after a meeting at a restaurant with one of her clients she goes out the back door and waits in the alley just as she was about to leave Lane bursts through and from then on Lane is by her side where she has always wanted him to be.

Brooke is a lawyer who also comes from money. Lane is a bouncer at a night club. He’s very protective of her but doesn’t think he’s good enough for her. This was a great fast paced read. The characters were well written and good for each other. Brooke was initially the shy one who finally comes out of her shell and goes after what she wants. Lane is all alpha male and wants Brooke but thinks she can do much better. She shows him he is a good and caring guy. I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Brooke thinks Lane is tall, dark and the hottest guy she's ever seen. She knows that usually these kind of guys ignore her. Brooke happens to notice that Lane happens to be everywhere she goes. She's asking herself if he is stalking her and if so she really wants to hook up with him too. There are some obstacles that have to be worked out between them and their HEA. Maybe we stalked each other. It doesn’t matter now. As long as we end up together, none of that matters.

Considering this is a story about two people basically stalking each other, it’s surprisingly sweet

Oh this has to be my favorite stalker novella of all time! The push and pull between Lane and Brooke is magnetic! Yes, he is stalking her but he doesn’t make a move on her. He is a protective kind of stalker. He feels like he isn’t going enough for her so he just watches and make sure she is ok. Ohhh…but things can change and when they do it a little bit of a whirlwind. She is determined that she is going to have him and make him see his worth once she gets to know him. There is so much more to this book that meets the eye! I seriously couldn’t put this one down!

Being a lawyer, she wants proof and finally approaches him to find out. Lane has wanted her since the first time he set eyes on her, however, he believes that she is way out of his league.
