Welcome to Evergreen! A new year brings new beginning's for some and love for all! A Valentine’s Day romance perfect for snuggling up to. Salem- Attempting to drive through a snowstorm is not the best idea I've had, but I'm determined to make it to my sister's wedding. Until I get stuck in a ditch. Rescued by a handsome stranger and isolated inside his home from the storm raging outside, our time together has me feeling things I’ve never felt before. Can I break out of my shell and trust that these feelings are real or will fear of the unknown keep me from taking the leap? Cooper- Meeting Salem was pure dumb luck, but my gut tells me she’s in over her head. I’m drawn to her shy, innocence like I’ve never been before. I’m not looking for a relationship, but there’s something about Salem that makes me want more. And the body heat we’re creating on this snowy night is something I’ll never forget. Or let go of. **This is a steamy novella, no cliff hanger with a HEA!

Salem & Cooper

This is a difficult review. I loved the overall story. Salem was great. And Cooper was a really good H after about 3 chapters. Its true I stay away from manwhore books, especially if it's a current condition. The sad part is, there was no reason for this whatsoever in the storyline. 2nd chapter, 1st sentence ruined something. Cooper couldve been against relationships, and only for the random hookup here and there...but this flat out stated that he had one night stands with everyone! Go to the bar. Pick up whatever one looked best and took them home to his bed. Everyone! Every available to semi available female in and around his small town and the tourists. It was so bad, that since he had a one and done attitude, he'd run out of women unless he was willing to "hit it twice"(his words). This is current, not something long ago... This info could have been left out and it wouldn't have taken anything from the story, it was just shock value. Now had he done this outside of town etc... Now I'm ripped from fiction and back into reality because all I can think is, this poor girl. Salem, the innocent virgin just unknowingly falls for the county's biggest manwhore and is moving to this small town with him. She is never going to be able to go anywhere, ever without being surrounded by women who know her husband intimately. Never going to work...
All that being said... if the author had just left that out, it would have been the perfectly sweet insta hea story. I loved it and hope the author will continue to write sweet insta stories like it, but stops adding unnecessary cringe worthy details.

An excellent start!

This is the author’s debut novel and I really liked it. This is an insta-love, small town romance at its heart.

I adore strong, shy heroines and Salem doesn’t disappoint. She may not have experienced many things in her young life, but one snow storm and a handsome rescuer make up for that quickly. Cooper is a top notch book boyfriend, who can’t believe he’s met someone who makes him want to change his life plan instantly.

Give this one a try and support a new author. I am looking forward to Book 2.
