I waited for this book to drop and I am very pleased. It was definitely an emotional rollcoater for me. I actual shed some tears. Some of the scenes gave me goosebumps literally. My heart broke for the situations that took place. I also love the growth if seen with D.
This was a good read. D-Murder is a complex character who lives a toxic lifestyle and a rough upbringing but initiates some change towards the end. Didn’t like Ari at first but she grew on me. Poor Nivea. Definitely reading the series before this.
I mean, I get it, but I still can’t stand De or Ari. Nobody should be able to bleed this much toxicity onto the rest of the planet and then be somehow so nonchalantly pissed at the damage they cause. I’d just like to be pulled deeper into the action in the next books.
I enjoyed reading this story. It was good to get the back story. I can’t wait to read pretty little scammers pt. 3. This is becoming another favorite author for me
This background story on Demario was much appreciated. Now I see why he moved the way he did. Ari was crazy from then. Now I can't fully blame Demario for leading her on when she played a part in it. Im glad he agreed to seeing a therapist because holding things in never gets you anywhere. All those years if being locked down, the minute Nivea had a taste of something new, she went wild and it ultimately cost her her life. I really hope Demario can leave his past in the past and not mess things up with Meina
When I first met him in the first PLS I just thought he was a bit arrogant as a lot of men in power positions are. As the story moved on I just simply disliked him... then I read this. Now I can say without a shadow of a doubt he will forever be on my list of top 10 characters I absolutely despise in a series!
I started off thinking this book was gonna change my opinion of him because he went through a lot at such a young age. Usually knowing where a character comes from explains a lot of who they are and I can offer them a little grace... but not this ball of evil!
I really don’t know if I’m more bothered by the cruddy things he does to people or the fact that he DOES NOT take any responsibility for the things he does and the outcomes they bring.
I have been thoroughly enjoying this series and this installment didn’t leave me wanting for nothing even thought the main character has made me mad enough to curse literally.
This book was good demario aint playing he going to make his money one way or another I just wish he didn't give up on Nivea when she's and she dont want to be with him anymore the she might still be around so sad what happened to her and ari need to make up her mind who she going to be with cause im sure if her husband find out what she doing he might snap...enjoyed the read
