From New York Times Bestseller Mimi Jean Pamfiloff, comes a standalone Paranormal Romcom about second chances.

CAN THIS EVIL VAMPIRE CHANGE HIS WAYS?

Just a few short years ago, a medical miracle turned this ancient evil vampire into a human baby. Just a small setback in Mr. Nice’s plans for world domination, right?

Wrong. Because now a slight problem with the transformation has left him aging five times faster than a regular human.

Sure, he’s happier and stronger than he ever was in his past human life (These vitamins do wonders!), but if he wants to live, he’ll have to find a vampire willing to turn him. Fast!

Of course, none of them are crazy enough to do it. Not after the hell he put the vampire world through, including the vampire king.

“Will no one give me a second chance? I’m only a little bit evil now!”

Then, just when all hope is lost, he walks into a library and meets the new head librarian. She might be the only vampire on the planet who has no clue who he is.

Can he convince her he’s a good man, one who deserves to live forever? Because she’ll only turn the man who’s destined to be her mate.

My most recent coven was founded by yours truly, the New Orleans Spicy Gumbo Society. I am quite proud of the name since we refer to humans from that region as spicy gumbo. They are quite flavorful.

My Review:

This is my first time delving into this popular series and while I swear it isn’t on purpose, but it does seem to be my fate to pick it up an amusing series near or at the tail end of the tale. I don’t read a lot of paranormal as I’m just far too lazy for all the worldbuilding and strange rules, but I didn’t seem to mind it so much as Ms. Pamfiloff layers hers with extra servings of clever irony and caustic humor – such as chocolate being a narcotic for vampires and used as a weapon against them. Although I would be a poor soldier in an army against them as I would be tempted to eat my ammo.

This was a quick and lighthearted read that had me smirking my way through the clever digs, snarky observations, and witty inner musings of Mr. Nice as he schemed and considered his master plan of World Domination! Now I’ve done it, I’m going to have to amass the rest of the series and start it from the beginning.

What happens when the evilest, vilest, craziest, and best-dressed vampire ever to, well…..live…. gets turned into a human baby to be raised by his nemesis and one true love? You get the story of Mr. Nice.

After a medical mishap with the cure vampires can take to turn them human again, Mr. Nice is back. Having aged 20+ years in only the past five, he is now a human man on the outside (and quite a stunning one if you ask him), yet he still has the vampire emotions on the inside. He is a vampire man, still evil and vile. And yet, being raised in a home by Michael and Miriam has instilled in him pesky emotions and a conscience that is frankly getting annoying.

On a quest to once again become a vampire, Nice encounters a number of obstacles as his friends from his past life are just as evil as he was. Being forced to associate with a nicer, kinder class of vampires, Nice finds himself start to develop tender emotions, attachments and starting to care more about other people than he does for himself. Nice 2.0 actually lives up to his name. He’s become sweet! The trouble is, he spends hundreds of years building such a bad reputation, why would anyone believe that he’s changed?

The thing I love about Mimi Jean’s stories is the ridiculousness of it all. She does not take herself seriously, and her books are utterly preposterous. The situations the characters find themselves in are literally laughable and it all becomes a train wreck that you can’t walk away from. But why would you?? Her stories are an engaging mess of fun characters, silly situations, and real plots that always manage to throw in a twist that I never saw coming. Vampire Man was a wild romp and a crazy ride and made me love the crazy Mr. Nice even more than I thought possible.

Mimi Jean Pamfiloff writes a fun, exciting and touching vampire romance. I couldn’t have hoped for a better story for Mr. Nice

For centuries, Mr. Nice had been anything but. He was set on world domination or at last vampire domination until he took too much of the cure for vampirism which turned him into a human baby. Placed under the care of his nemesis while retaining his memory, he starts aging so fast he’ll be dead in a year if he isn’t turned back into a vampire.

But after all the upheaval he’s put the vampire world through, the vampire king has forbidden his change. Can he find and convince someone that he’s just quasi-evil? The diet coke of evil, just one calorie!

I had loved Mr. Nice as a villain in the previous books. He’s eccentric and batsh!t crazy and I couldn’t imagine him as a hero. It turns out I didn’t have to worry. Mimi Jean did her magic. The story is engaging, has ingenious twists and turns, I laughed at Nice’s crazy antics and inner musings and there were no words to describe how much I loved Mr. Nice and his character development and growth.

Vampire Man is book #6 of The Librarian’s Vampire Assistant series by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff. It a paranormal romance told from Mr. Nice’s point of view with a HEA. Genres: Paranormal Romance.

I seriously could not put this book down! Rarely does an author so skillfully weave together such a delightful story that leaves me frantically turning the pages all while keeping me on my toes and laughing at the zany antics of her characters. I am not even sure how to categorize this book as it checkmarks so many boxes. I am going to go with a paranormal, cozy mystery suspense with a romantic flare. If you are new to The Librarian’s Vampire Assistant series, then you are in for a treat because this author has a penchant for writing novels that are so engaging that you are loathe to put the book down to do things like eat or sleep.

Mr. Nice, the narcissistic, eccentric former vampire is in quite the quandary. He needs to be changed back into a vampire, but no one will give him a chance. His character is a hoot and a half. I always found his theatrics to be wildly entertaining, but I wasn’t sure I would actually like him as a main character seeing as he was quite the villain in the previous novels. Yet this Vampire Man has won me over! His inner musings had me in hysterics and I really enjoyed the direction the author took his character in. His love interest is selfless, caring, and feisty. Of course, one would have to possess a lot of sass (and patience) to put up with man like him. She is nearly his opposite and yet she may be the person to bring out the best in him. However, there is just that pesky matter of Mr. Nice needing to convince her that he is a good man and no longer evil.

Full of witty banter, action, romance, and a few clever twists, this book did not disappoint! Vampire Man is technically a standalone, however the entire The Librarian’s Vampire Assistant series is phenomenal and I do recommend starting at the beginning for the ultimate experience. If you are looking for a fast-paced, paranormal cozy mystery with unique characters and an original storyline, then you’ll definitely want to pick up this book!

I voluntarily read an early version of this book. All thoughts and opinions expressed are entirely my own.

Mr Nice is.....nice? Well yes, and then also no. You cannot have expected that our favorite evil vampire would change completely. Could you? The latest update we had was that Mr Nice had been turned into a human baby and this book picks up a few years later. One of Mr Nice’s favorite writers Mimi Jean Pamfiloff (I hope I spelled that right) has written this story which is the sixth book in her The Librarian’s Vampire Assistant series. The story will make perfect sense to you if you haven’t read the rest of the series but this is an amazing series so read the rest as well. This series is unlike every other vampire series you have ever read. It is laugh out loud funny for one. It also has an incredible amount of background to the vampires and the vampire society they live in. This is part of why you will get a lot more out of this book if you have read the rest of the series. What else can I say without giving away what happens to Mr Nice? There is lots of adventure, visits from characters from the other books, bad guys and girls, good guys and girls, kissing, more adventure and you get the idea. More deliciousness from Ms Mimi Jean which is all you really need to know. Six stars mam six stars.

Damn it, she did it! After reading the 5 previous books in the series, I thought I could never empathize with Nice, Michael Vanderhorst’s ridiculously evil nemesis. I should have known that the author had an ace in her sleeve.

It’s written in Nice’s point of view, so don’t believe everything you read. Or… believe it and watch as he slowly reinvents himself. It isn’t always subtle–because neither Nice nor the author are masters of subtlety–but it’s definitely enjoyable.

It starts five years after the end of the last book. So much happened that I’d have liked to read more about it, especially how baby Nice became the younger child of reunited couple Michael and Miriam. We still get to see snippets, but through Nice’s distorted point of view. Still, the more Nice re-evaluates his life, the more we learn about the family moments and how they changed him. It seriously made me swoon.

There aren’t enough scenes between Michael and Nice! What I’ve read made me crave for more. It looked like the relationship between a father and his teenage son–which is absolutely hilarious since Nice is 300 vampire years old but 5 human years old with the face of a 25 year old man. If your head hurts, you’re reading about a Mimi’s book.

Extremely funny, completely unexpected, with a sprinkle of action, this was a perfect addition to the series.

Quickie

- Series: The librarian’s vampire assistant #6 (can be read as a standalone)
- Hashtags: #paranormal romance #second chance #vampire
- Trigger: some vampire violence
- Main couple: Brandi Botellino & Nice
- Hotness: 1/5
- Romance: 4/5
- + more meta humor, I love it!
- – I’d have loved to see more family time between Michael and Nice

Don’t let the name fool you, Mr Nice is anything but nice. He’s an extremely evil, moderately insane, ancient vampire bent on world domination. There is however one not so small problem, his nemesis figured out a way to cure vampirism and several years ago he was transformed into a human baby, left to the mercy of Vanderhorst’s care. Now he’s aging faster than he should and none of the vampire doctors know why. Now he’s bent on returning to his former glory and of course World Domination, he just needs to find a vampire willing to turn him. Too bad the Vampire King has made that option basically illegal.

How hard can it be to find a vampire willing to break the rules? Well fortunately there is a new vampire librarian who doesn’t know anything about Nice and his former life and antics. Now he just needs to convince her he’s a good man so she will change him. As he works to convince Liza he may just learn a few things about himself, like perhaps he’s not as evil as he once was.

Mimi Jean Pamfiloff has found new ways to delight readers with her characters. Vampire Man is the sixth book in the LVA world is a stand alone book that catches you up on anything you need to know if you haven’t read the first 5 books. True to form Mimi keeps you on the edge of your seat and unable to put the book down. Any Mimi fan will find little easter eggs and the engaging writing we have come to expect from this witty author.

Mr. Nice is a despicable, horrid, egotistical, vapid vampire(ish), so I'm completely bamboozled as to how he managed to win my sympathy within the first two chapters.

I guess it doesn’t hurt that this crafty, clever wordsmith had me laughing out loud by the second paragraph. That has to be some kind of record, right? And I’m not much of a paranormal fan these days, but it seems I’ll follow MJP pretty much anywhere in romantic fiction.

Quirky and off-beat, follow Mr. Nice who has taken the vampire cure and become a baby, and now he's aging at an incredible rate. He must find someone to turn him or he’ll die soon.

Mr. Nice, who's anything but, finds himself depending on two very different women and devising devious ways to manipulate his vampire associates in order to achieve has objective. But the two ladies in his life may be rubbing off on him (and no, it's not *that* kind of romance) and the evil Mr. Nice finds he may not be as evil as he thought.

Ridiculous, outrageous, unbelievable and a laugh a minute, PNR fan or not, you won’t be able to resist this hilarious, loveable, and not-so-evil vampire man and his quest for immortality.

So I finished Vampire Man ARC last night, thanks for that Mimi both the late night and the advanced copy.
It was hysterical! Mr. Nice basically gets his second chance at life but accelerated aging has him determined to become a vampire again and go back to his evil ways, that is until he meets a girl.
This is the perfect addition to the series, a nice little bonus book to conclude and tie up all the loose ends, meaning the fate of Mr. Nice. In typical Mimi fashion the bat-shit crazy vampire explains all and tells all, well at least from his perspective, in this first person paranormal romance rom-com(ish) couldn't read it fast enough book.

it was such an interesting read!
"This is why it is paramount to believe in yourself. Know who you are. Do not let the world dictate. Because, at the end of the day, you cannot control what others think."
I love a good vampire story, but this was more than that, it was about Mr. Nice's evolving into a better man. He let go of the conception that he must be evil, and allowed Liza and Brandi show him he could be better.
The book was funny and cute, and I enjoyed traveling with him through his adventures and hea ❤️

Mimi Jean, you never fail to amaze with your stories. Mr. Nice finally has his story to tell. To find out his true self and who he really is was a treat. His family and friends are touching him like he has never been touched before. I like how Brandi helped him to see life in another way.

Let’s talk about “Vampire Man by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff”, sixth book in The Librarian's Vampire Assistant series.
🧛‍♀️
This is the first book I read from this popular series and I don’t know why I didn’t dive it sooner. Mimi brought a lot of fun with this story, packed with a character so obtuse and egocentric, yet so amazing. Mr. Nice or baby Nice or Racker or the several names she title himself, remembered me of Klaus, from the tv series The Originals, you know? He is kind of the villain but you can’t help but love and cheer for him to succeed. He also had a bit of Pink and the Brains cartoon, since he his ultimate goal was for World Domination!

Nice took the cure for vampirism but he took too much, so he reverted to a new born. But there was a huge problem, for some reason he has an accelerated aging grow and five years later he is in his mid-twenties. If he doesn’t find a vampire to turn him back to a vampire he will die within a year.

He desires to became a full vampire, since he says he is a vampire on the inside and a human on the outside, so he a weak link to the world. But to achieve that he find himself in a lot of shenanigans and crazy situations. His development is like turning water to wine, difficult but it was so there, he had to learn a lot, how to be a friend, a sweat human to save and cherish, the possibility to never become an evil vampire again and the most problematic, discover that he has some non evil feelings.

This was a fun and light reading, that although it lacks steamy scenes it compensates in mysteries, action and blood sucking suspense. I loved Mr. Nice and I’d like to call for a minute of silence for his long rap sheet! May it Rest In Peace. Blech!

“I am a Vampire Man! Vampire on the inside. Man on the outside. NOM NOM NOM

Michael and Miriam’s stories may be told, but we still have Mr Nice to deal with. Vampire Man picks up where Book 5 left off, but seeing it is Mr Nice’s story, a rebirth, if you will, it can stand by itself and he is about to get some very bad news. I feel for the messenger. You know the saying, right? Don’t kill the messenger? Well, Mr Nice could very well do that. There is a secret Mr Nice is keeping, thinking to unleash it when the time is right. We have good and bad vampires, as well as good and bad humans.

We have lots of laughs, danger and gruesome deaths, but love is the magic element that can make an evil vampire reevaluate what is important in life. Does he deserve a second chance?

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Vampire Man by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff is a paranormal romance. It's the sixth book from The Librarian's Vampire Assistant.

Nicephorus known as Mr. Nice was an ancient deadly vampire who was feared by everyone. Five years ago Michael Vanderhorst discovered the cure for vampirism, Mr. Nice stole it and took a huge dose. That had terrible side effects, he became a baby human who was aging fast. In five years he went from a baby to a twenty-five-year-old man and he was left with only a year to live before he died. Mr. Nice had to find a vampire to turn him fast, the only problem was that the king had forbidden everyone from doing it. During his quest, he met Brandi Botellino.
After saving her life she stuck with him until she could return home. While he was with her he felt that he didn't have to pretend and he could be himself. Also, little Brandi stirred emotions inside him that he had never imagined and it bothered him. She was a kind girl who helped others and believed in good. Could a Vampire Man like Mr. Nice change his life or was he doomed because of his past?

It's the first book that I read from this series and I was pleasantly surprised. It's such an amusing story with elements from different genres. It's a combination of paranormal, romance, and mystery. The whole story is from Mr. Nice's point of view. It was like seeing the
modern world from the eyes of a man from a different era. The plot was captivating, it was filled with funny antics from Nice and a battle between the good and bad. I read it at once and I'm quite proud of it because I don't read a lot of paranormal novels. The characters were amazing. Nice was the cruel sadistic vampire who was trying to find who he was. Brandi was a nice girl who tried
to help everyone despite the way she grew up. Liza was an interesting character as well, she was so sweet and odd. My favorite parts were the hot tub and when he played the hero.

I fell in love with this book and I will rate it with 5 stars. It's my new favorite paranormal story.

Mr Nice had taken the cure but way to much and apart from the supposed serious memory loss problems no one knew the full side effects of taking such a large dose. However Mr Nice doesnt care he takes more than he should and the end result is he ends up a baby again a human baby with supposedly no memory of the danger he's posed to not just the human world but to the society of vampires that live under the rule of Mr Nice's arch enemy Vanderhorst.
With no one wanting to raise Mr Nice from baby to adulthood Michael and Miriam decide there may be a way to raise him right to change the outcome of his life to make Mr Nice into well a nice person only problem is he's aging quicker than any human child would and with Nice having all his memories and being human he's just wants to complete his goal to become a vampire again and gain his dream of world domination.
However he soon starts to realise things have changed for him hes been raised differently this time he maybe only 5yrs old in age but hes in the body of a 25yr old thats quickly aging. This time round hes had a mother and father who despite all thats happened between them really care for him and Nice has feelings way to many for the once hardened evil vampire to understand as he's never had them before.. Can Mr Nice change his evil ways before its to late well if anyone can be whomever they want to be its Mr Nice aslong as he doesn't let his evil side show to much 😉

What a wonderfully evil story! Mr Nice, the evil vampire whose plans for world domination were thwarted by his own hand at the end of the last book when he swallowed a whole bottle of the cure for vampirism, finds himself stuck in the body of a baby, being raised by his arch nemesis and the love of his life alongside their daughter, none of whom realise that he had kept his memories and still plans to execute his evil plans.

However, aside-effect of the cure is that he is rapidly aging (at the age of 5 looks 25) and will likely be dead within the year unless he can be turned back into a vampire. When his "family" discovers he is still evil they abandon him, leaving him to fend for himself, to die alone. What is Mr Nice to do?

What follows is a romp across the country as Nice finds and loses the true love of his life, discovers long forgotten feelings he doesn't understand as he trips at every turn, falling foul of other vampires, of the Vampire King and of group of vampire hunters who plan to fry him!

With her usual usual mix of humour, mayhem and downright 'evilness', Pamfiloff has given us another scorcher. I cried tears of both laughter and sorrow as I read this wonderful book. Pamfiloff delivers a punchy tale, told in her own inimicable style, in a book I just couldn't put down (and read in one sitting). The characters leap off the page, the pace never slows and there are all the twists and turns I've come to expect from her books. It's a delight, as usual, and I can't recommend it highly enough.

Retired as a vampire, (mind you, not voluntarily) Mr. Nice, gets a do over. He was very powerful and evil fellow before he was changed back to a human being. The downside this is he starts out as a baby. The upside, he’s retained his memories as a vampire and gets to be held by a woman he loves. The real bummer is he is aging exponentially. He’s technically 5 years old but rocking an young adult man’s bod. Ain’t modern nutrition grand?
When his adopted family finds out about he retained his memory of his past vampire life, they abandon him to face his future alone. How could they do this to him? Why he can’t even cook for himself.
Can Nice find a way to become a vampire again? Can he do this before he dies? Or will he find a way to out fox his fate?
This is a laugh out loud novel, that gives the inside scoop on how Mr. Nice sees the world, others and himself. He has no illusions about himself, but he may finds out more about his own strengths and weaknesses as he navigates his new very short life.
I highly recommend this book along with entire series.

In book six of this series (I won’t say final because with Mimi, you never know), we find Michael, Merriam, Stella and “baby Nice” all reunited and living as a family. All of the science says that Nice has lost all memory of being the evil vampire he once was. Unfortunately, this is not true. Also, unfortunately, or perhaps not, he is aging at a very fast rate and there is nothing to do to stop it. Once Nice slips up and Michael finds out that he has been played, he takes his family and leaves Nice to figure things out on his own. Of course, all Nice wants to to is to find someone to turn him back into a vampire. Not so easy since the King has made it illegal for anyone to turn him. Nice sets out to find someone to help him but he gets a lot more than he ever expected. Can such an evil, ancient vampire change his ways? This book I’d a must read to find out because with Mimi Jean, you just never know! If you have read her other books, you will also get a giggle or two from the Easter eggs hidden in the story.

Vampire Man is the perfect ending to Mimi Jean Pamfiloff's The Librarian's Vampire Assistant. It's witty if not downright funny in places. There are some brilliant twists and turns and even a couple of...darn I didn't see that coming moments including the ending. I am going to miss new additions to this series but I know there are re-reads in my future.

Mr Nice finds that he's become a delectable vampire morsel as he tries to find a solution to his predicament. Having the tables turned on him is an entirely new experience and one he definitely doesn't like. In addition Karma has delivered a healthy dose of comeuppance to the lying, cheating, evil ex- vampire in the form losing his new family and a sweet human female, Brandi. She doesn't lie or cheat, has strong moral compass and chastises him for being devious. Nice is smitten with her but he doesn't do humans...blech! Suddenly, Brandi's life is in danger and Nice pulls out all the stops to save her

I’m so glad this book was written. I loved the Librarians Vampire Assistant series and Mr. Nice was quite the character. I always wondered if we would get some time in his brain and this book delivered. The old, eccentric, uber evil vamp gets a do-over and we get to see what he does with it. After he overdosed on the serum to cure his vampirism weird things happen, he’s now a baby in need of a family to raise him. It’s a new case study on Nature vs Nurture the vamp edition. Par for course I spent a couple nights reading way past my bedtime trying to suppress my giggles, so I don’t wake the hubby. It’s a witty page turner that you won’t regret floating to the top of your TBR pile. Also, it’s a standalone, you can read the Librarians Vampire Assistant series for some background on the characters and their history, but this book holds its own very well.

As always, my thanks goes to Mimi and co for allowing me to ARC read for you again! I love the opportunity.

So, mr. Nice who wasn't so nice, and paid the ultimate price for being not Nice is back for his final showdown. And what a story he has to tell!

As we know, after being greedy and drinking enough potion to humanize half the vampire population, mr Nice found himself as a baby, and taken in by Miriam and his arch enemy, Michael! How could things get worse than that!.?

Well, this is a Mimi story, so that's not going to be hard, but how her mind comes up with this craziness. . . No, we won't go there! Suffice it to say, Karma hasn't finished with Nice yet, Haha!

Great little tribute there to 'What we do in the shadows' staring the wonderfully hilarious Taika Waititi. If you haven't already, then you should watch it. ( I'm pretty sure mimi used it as inspiration for her characters!?) Lol

Anyway, I digress.
Nice has been a baby for five years, but is aging rapidly, and has found his first grey hair eeeeeek! He is constantly reminding the reader just how amazingly awesome and verile he is, and is convinced all the ladies want him. He just cant see that the one under his very roof is genuinely falling for him, he's too busy trying to seduce a powerful female vampire into changing him back into a vampire. All kinds of crazy antics ensue, with mr Nice becoming mr Sweet, or Steviuus, depending on his present mood swing. So that's as near to spoilers as I'm getting. . . .

Eventually, as is to be expected things get sorted and all is back on track, and we have a complete story.

The End?

Lol!

Hope you enjoy this crazy conclusion as much as I did.

Mr. Nice the vampire bent on world domination, takes to much of the cure, and finds himself as an infant. But! He remembers everything about being a vampire instead if forgetting it. One major side effect is rapid aging. So instead of being 5, he's in his 20s.
One line that made me laugh is first she held me accountable, then she gets all sexy for our date, and now she smells good? She is a horrid woman! It's that last part that got me.
If you haven't read the other books in the series it's OK, because Mimi gives you enough information throughout the book that your not lost.
Love the book! You get to see the world through Mr. Nice's eyes and learn how he thinks and what makes him tic, since its written in the first person.

Not only was Mr. Nice turned into a baby now he is aging at a fast and furious rate.
Due to his lying and conniving ways he's left to deal with it on his own after duping his family.
He saves a young girl from an old and equally evil friend but doesn't understand why especially when the friend was going to turn him back into a vampire.
Mr. Nice has met his match with Brandi, she makes him feel things he's never felt before and keeps him on his toes, with witty banter and maybe making him a better Vampire. She even makes him wait until they're married before sex!
Even though he's changing he still gets a few Mr. Nice moves in.
I would highly recommend this book and series.

Yes!! At last a story about Mr nice a ruthless vampires that accidentally turn in to a baby and has to deal with being a human while plotting his revenge. I found it really funny while being cleverly written, showing you another side of Mr nice that we never knew about. I really enjoyed reading about this world we loved so mush and seeing all the favorite characters from the librarian vampire assistant brought together in a whole new adventure. Loved the chemistry between Brandi and Mr nice and the journey they shared together while they both figured things out and helped each other along the way and i thought the ending was really funny and I loved reading every second of it.

Mr. Nice gets his happy ending. In book 5, he took too much of Vanderhorst’s reversal serum and was a baby, but quickly aged over five years. As a human he realized all the wrong he did but missed being a vampire. He’s proving himself to be different and mature, probably due to Miriam. Even though we know him from the Librarian’s Vampire Assistant books his story stands alone. Pamfiloff supplies readers with plenty of information and backstory so they could jump right in. I’m thrilled to finally get his story and see how he evolved. My copy came through the author and wrote my review voluntarily.

Loved this book from beginning to end it was so great to see Mr. Nice find his way, grow, develop and find his way to a new beginning. It was good that he learned there was more than one way of being a vampire. Nice a hero who would have thought that was possible. What a great way for him to find and make his family. Loved
Seeing references to other stories as it makes me see how things can cross over. Can’t wait to read the next book and fingers crossed that we aren’t done with this series.

Wow, so enjoyed the latest (and possibly last) installment of this series. Mr. Nice’s road to redemption is paved with self-recrimination, hate, caring, understanding, and finally love. The storyline was great. Can’t be easy changing course so the reader actually comes to care for a slightly evil and self-indulgent character. However, Mimi Jean Pamfiloff does exactly that in her own twisted and funny way. A great way to spend a few hours! Enjoy!

Who would have thought Mr Nice could turn out to be so, well ... nice?! As ever in this series, there are plenty of plot twists and ridiculously funny situations. I love that the whole story is told from Mr Nice’s viewpoint so you really can’t predict where the story is going. The humour is offbeat and very quirky and Mr Nice is most definitely not the stereotypical romance hero! I am in awe of the author’s imagination to write such vibrantly original and genre defying books - simply brilliant!

I’ll be incredibly sad if this is the end of the Librarian’s Vampire Assistant series. It is so good!!
It would be a fitting end to this series to have Mr. Nice find his happily ever after. It’s great that he can be Nice and Sweet at the same time. Mimi definitely had me guessing a few times on the direction of this book. I’m ready for more from Mimi, even if it isn’t a certain librarian and her family.
5 stars!!!!
