Jade’s being stalked and Darrell is in a coma. Everything around them seems to be crumbling fast. Trying her best to maintain peace and not give up hope, Jade gets lost in the shuffle of life while she fears she may have lost the only chance she’ll have at real love. Darrell has revenge on the tip of his tongue but he can’t seem to shake the haze he’s under. Will he wake up a savage ready to destroy or will he let it all go for love? Anything worth having doesn’t come easy, which Jade and Darrell quickly discover, but then again, anything worth having is worth fighting for...or so they think! Only time will tell!
I could not fathom Jade not visiting Darrell in the hospital for an entire month because she was scared???! Please let that make sense. I understand her mom is sick, and she got other things to worry about, but in book one she professed “this is her man”, didn’t see him for a month! Girl bye because I think if she visited sooner he would have been out that coma, but what the hades do I know I ain’t no doctor, but look at the response when she finally visited!
So many errors for example it should have been a hundred thousand on Trey’s head as stated in book one, but Mac said a hundred million sheesh 🙄 and then the brothers saying a million. All this was so confusing. Several grammatical errors such as when to use there and their etc. along other errors!
Then not talk about Darrell and his brother’s mom. How did she meet her BF. She was just hypocritical IMHO!
Also no updates on Justin and Sade like the author forgot about their trifling behinds. I guess they were non factors.
So I like the story kinda, I mean obviously since I read part 2 as well. I just did not like that it felt rushed to me. There were little to no details on major events, like the first sexual encounter, the next meeting with the moms bf that’s just a few.. the story starts off with Jada & rell and then switched to Sam and quise. I think trey and his brother didn’t deserve a part in the book. Idk, it was a bit all over the place and rushed
This book was ok but it wasn’t great TO ME! It had no jaw dropping or real action moments. Some things just didn’t make sense. Like the last chapter prior to the epilogue, Joyce finds out she’s pregnant. Then the epilogue starts 5 1/2 months later Joyce is still questioning if she is going to keep the baby or abort🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️
To be honest I was only able to give 1 star because book 1 was where the action was at! Not to mention a detail that was left out. Did Rell, Mir, and Marquise ever make up with their mother's boyfriend or what??? How book 1 go be more lit than book 2??? I'm good on this author. I'll pass! I thought I would stick with her cause book 1 was lit but never mind! What a waste of time ✌🏿
This storyline had enough going on to keep you entertained. Although I feel that Justin didn’t tap out that easy i will take the ended for what is was. Poor Joyce i cant wait to hear her story
I like the story . As simple as it is , you love someone then you do everything to show and keep that person . I was a bit disappointed I wanted to know about Justin even if it was just one chapter .
