Meechi and Donwade have a deep and somewhat twisted relationship that neither one of them can deny. With Meechi being the younger party, she feels maybe it is why Donwade continues to step out on her. Meechi knows Donwade loves her and wouldn’t let anyone hurt her. But to Meechi, it is Donwade who is doing her the most harm.
Catching Donwade in the act of infidelity is nothing new to Meechi, but this time around, it hit differently. When stress consumes her, Meechi doesn’t know whether she is coming or going. Promising to never cheat again, Donwade breaks down and tells Meechi about a part of his past no one knows about. At the same token, Donwade feels that Meechi now understands the reason he sidesteps out on her. Meechi sympathized with Donwade’s moving story of his past, but it wasn’t enough for her.
On a night out with her friends, Meechi is spotted by the mysteriously handsome Kley. One look into his eyes and Meechi felt something she never had with Donwade. Not able to shake her love for Donwade, Meechi and Kley slowly connect with one another. All is well until Donwade once again causes Meechi’s world to come crashing down.
This time around, Meechi doesn’t crumble as Kley comes like a thief in the night and rescues her broken heart

Ready for Part 2!!!
I normally like to wait until I finish a series to give my review. But this book was just too juicy. It's a shame how us women will do everything in our power to make a relationship work.... even when we know it's way past over. Meechi loved Donwade out of appreciation for rescuing her. He was familiar. His excuse for cheating was as weak as water. He knew that would pity her into staying with him. The women he was cheating with didn't value themselves enough to leave him alone. Kley looks like a breath of fresh air.... but looks can be decieving. There's only one way to find out. KEEP READING!!!

Wow!
Talk about drama! This book was full of it, along with secrets and deceit! First of all Saylor was definitely not Meechi’s friend. Donwade and Kley both were alpha males, but Wade still had some growing up to do. I cannot wait to read book two and see how all of this plays out.

Meechi girl save yourself.
This book had me on edge from the beginning to end. It is filled with so much drama, excitement and emotion. Donwade was a knight in shining armor turned F-boy. Meechi feels like she owes him so much but she has given him years of loyalty when he did not deserve it. She is an employee that benefits him. Kley please be all that we are hoping you are.

Can't Wait
I can't wait for more of this well written story. I am loving these characters, but Mercy I needs to stop being so dumb. This seems to be the start of a great series. With drama, secrets, and plenty of lies. I can't wait for all the secrets to come to light, plus for Karma to come knocking.

Wow
Whew child where do I begin??? Meechie need to just get away from Donwade no good behind!!! This is one of those stories where you want to jump in the storyline and put some sense into the main character head lol! The entire time I was reading this story I was on the edge of my seat and could not stop reading!! I can’t wait to see what’s next for this crew!

I was a little indifferent about the book it was good.
I can't wait to wade it was coming to him and that one was a sailor that he has the kids by it's just trash can't wait to part two.

Action, drama, betrayal and secrets combined with 2 sexy alpha males and 1 bad-ass female. Author L'Amour Coulture has served up another one!
Meechi deserves better than what Donwade is offering and Kley seems like the man to give it to her.😏
This was a strong start in a new series. I was throughly entertained by all the characters. Next book please!

Why You Can't See The Forest For The Trees!
L'Amour, baby baby this right here. Lord why do we always love someone other than ourselves? Man, Wade has some kind of hold on Meechie. She is loyal to a fault. She knows she needs to do better but she is just too loyal.
Snakes in her camp, she doesn't even see. Sushi, is a true friend that hopefully will have some peace and a good relationship with Deng, he deserves true love. Man I'm so livid at Meechie, maybe she will wake up before it's too late. Great Read 🤗🤗🤗🤗

A mess!!!
Saylor and Donwade need to be dropped kicked!!! I'm sure they will get their just reward in the next installment. I really enjoyed it and looking forward to the next book.
