Marcelo
This was not what I expected. I would have love it more without going back 10 years every other chapter. It just took to much away from the story. At least she wasn't an angry black woman like most of the other women in this second season. I am hoping for the third season to have more of a mixture of the first and second seasons. I do have a few favorite books in season 2.

Britney Adele Francis and Marcel Luca Ferrari were high school sweethearts and each others first. Marcel was descended from Italian Royalty. Marcelo was heir to the vast Ferrari fortune. He had a sister Isabella, who was five years older who was married to an American Businessman Stefano Rossi. Valentina was his mother's name and she was a beautiful woman who Marcelo and Isabella looked like. Britney was the only child of Daniel Walter Francis and Bianca Francis. Britney's mother was an ADA and her father was a historian, he taught history. Her father was older than her mother but they loved each other dearly. Britney and Marcelo met when he came to her town and went to the private school she went to. He had come to America to stay with his Aunt and Uncle because someone had tried to kidnap him. So it was love at first sight for Marcelo but Britney was trying to guard her heart. The story was entertaining with wonderful characters. It is a good read

Disappointed 😞
I would like to start and say that Katie Dowe is one of my beloved authors, but this story was very disappointing. I hate to give her a bad review but I feel need to do so just in case a reader is thinking about if he/she should read the story.
I skimmed the entire book because I could not stand the book going into the past so much. At first, it was not a big deal, but it got too much.
I wish the book would had focus on the present love story than the past. As well, it would have been nice for some drama. I was hoping when he finally told his dad the story would have been juicy but from there that lead to even bigger disappointment.
Also the story felt rushed but that could had been because of me. I was skipping so much.
Lastly, I enjoyed their romance. But it just had me wishing for more.

Okay
Well I have to say this was not one if my favorite reads from this series. Its a sweet story of 2 young teenage lovers Macelo and Britney who run into each other years later and realize their love has lasted through all the years they were apart. I was frustrated by the continuous going back 10 years and that as teenagers they focused so much on the sex encounters then their future dreams. With that said, I am still a fan of the "Elite Club Members" so lets see what the next couples' story has in store.

Too many memories
This was a good book but every other chapter was a look at the past. I get them going over how they met and what they went through in the first few chapters but not the whole chapter. One chapter was past then the next present and it went back and forth like that the whole book. Out of 16 chapters 8 of them were of the past. I read the first few and skipped the rest and do not feel like I missed anything. I feel like it was written to make the book longer but it was unnecessary to have so much.

Another good read in the series, I was hoping for an epilogue though.
They were so young, she was 16 & him 17 , they were each other first, but he was from another country, even though he knew his own heart and knew he would never love another and promised her forever… nevertheless he was still a minor depending on his parents. Life circumstances forced them apart, but their hearts still remained attached to one another, their souls were binding and they will find each other again and this time, nothing could separate them.

Marcelo and Britney’s tale, however, truly made me wistful and, unlike a certain Shakespeare tragedy, all’s well that ends well. No spoilers, but I encourage you to fix a cup of cocoa and this Kindle and dive in!

Disappointed
It felt so incomplete. Trying to tell everyone's story and the back and forth, I was left with questions.
For the record - I don't know any twenty something year old adults and it's and definitely no sixteen year olds who use the term of endearment "Darling" when referring to a lover.

Britney and Marcelo met while he was in America for a while staying with his aunt. He has to return to Italy and they don't see each other for ten years. They meet again and decide to give it another go and secretly get married. There is always the rough patch but they finally got through all the hoops to be together in the open and happy.

This was a beautiful story of a love from youth that never ended and remained intense even with separation for a decade. There was the oddity with the constant back and forth of present and past, which was fine, but seemingly made everything drag out instead of flowing seamlessly. For that I give 4 stars and recommend this story as a good read.

Captivating
Oh my what a fabulous story with unforgettable characters that are beautifully passionate with a very believable but emotional relationship that is so entertaining and sizzling hot. Forbidden love
This was a very enjoyable story. Theyhad the love of a lifetime from teenager to an adult. Even through the crisis in their lives. Especially Marcus, he choice love over his wealth and family. Now that's what love is when you are willing to make sacrifices for the one you love. They lost ten years of their life because of selfish and shame.

I really enjoyed this book! I love how the author took you on a journey. You were ablevto see what happen to get them to where they were in the present day! Different
I have always liked when the story starts in the now, the flash backs always give a better understanding of the now characters as adults. Cloe for one had some real demons she never really dealt with. Would like to Ser her story play out god help that man lol. Good cool weather fireplace read.

Confused by time
I’m disappointed with how the writing kept jumping back and forth in time. It was confusing and it seemed to jump during a very significant scene. Love scenes when they were kids was off putting to me.

Love Over Contrast!
I will say that this is a one of a kind, and giving it a 10 for originally. Giving all the past and present in the outline. There was so much contrast between the two families, showing the differences in each of the cultures, and their lives.

I really enjoyed this story. However the editing was terrible, the grammatical errors made some sentences sound ridiculous. I want to read more but don't know if I can suffer through the lack of attention to the writing again. And that is disappointing😒
