Lily is no stranger to rejection. She just never thought she would have to face being rejected by her mate.
On her father’s orders, everyone in Lily’s pack turned their backs on her years ago. But even at her lowest of lows, she clung to the hope of finding the person destined for her and, with him, the happiness that she so desperately longs for.
That hope is cruelly taken from her on her eighteenth birthday, when her mate rejects their bond and leaves Lily more alone than ever. Something breaks inside her that night, but Lily has finally had enough. She refuses to keep bowing down to her pack and her Alpha father.
She deserves better, and Finn and Matt, the two new members of the Hood River pack, agree. They both seem too good to be true, and Lily can’t help but wonder if the two men will be just another disappointment or if one of them might be the key to her finally finding happiness.

Why would you advertise on goodreads but you can't actually read it without downloading a money hungry app to read it, I read at least 4 novels a week, I don't want to be wasting time with trying to get silly coins just to read 1 chapter of a book. And forking out 30 dollars for 1 book when I could buy 4 books for 30 dollars.
This book is edgy, and suspenseful and all the things a good dark romance book should be. I really enjoyed it!
I did not like the platform on which I read it but after seeing a FB about it I just had to see how it all ended. I would much prefer to just buy the book and read it.
I enjoyed what I could read of it I’m very disappointed with you people.I have read thousands of books but this is the first time I have been stopped from reading this entire book you make it very difficult for me to want to read any book on your site thanks for nothing
I have no review because I can not find it to finish reading it. the sight I was reading it on wanted me to pay to finish reading the book (Rejected and forsaken) by Maggie Ireland. I am not paying to read the rest of the book. I do not think it is right to get a person interested and then try to charge them. What I read was very good, that is why I want to finish it.
Would have loved to finish he book. I wasn't able to find the book on any main stream app. Very disappointed that I wasn't able to finish the book. I'm not paying for something by the chapter. Whole book price isn't listed.
The story itself was actually quite good and I was enjoying reading it but the whole platform it was on and the having to keep purchasing coins to be able to keep reading was totally stupid !! I would much rather have been told the cost of purchasing at the start, much more likely I would have purchased.... so sadly, out of principle I refuse to purchase the coins... won’t be blackmailed into paying to finish something . Have also deleted the platform ‘DREAME’ .
Found book through Facebook, got eight chapters in on a stupid app that is now saying I have to buy credits to read, what a con! I would quite happily buy the book but I ain’t buying no credits, app deleted and will never know how the story ends so wouldn’t bother even trying to read unless your willing to spend a small fortune on a stupid app!
Didn't actually finish the book. Made it 2/3 of the way through and paid $8 in coins. Wasn't paying another $4 to finish the book. What I did read was interesting and captivating but I'm not paying anymore. I'm not paying more for a digital copy than I would pay for an actual paper copy of any other book out there.
Drawn in like most with a FB ad, I was intrigued by this novel. Annoyances of finding it and grammatical error aside the characters created drew me in. Although not a completely unique story and the abhorred cliffhanger ending, I want to know what happens. I just wish this was available in physical or easier to find formats.
I loved this book. So happy it is finally on Kindle. Lily goes through so much just to survive and then meets Flynn. With his help, Lily realizes that she can be strong g and happy, if she's brave enough. Can't wait for the next book!
What I read was entertaining and I really wanted to read more but I wasn't willing to.fork out money per chapter this author seems quite good but I fear not many people will.read her stuff if its on those apps. If the book had a whole price and it was reasonable id buy it and I dont as a rule buy books. Such a shame
The book started out really good but couldn’t finish without going to a coin hungry app . VERY DISAPPOINTED after coming to goodreads and still can’t finish the book .
* POST CONTAINS SPOILERS* I've read a couple other books on the Dreame app, and this one was probably the most well done by far. The story was thought out, each chapter was intentional and the characters were well developed.
I hate reading books on these quick chapter by chapter reading apps. I'd much rather just buy a book outright, but this one intrigued me enough that I bought the corns to finish it in a day.
There is a little smut in the book, but nothing like some of the others that I've read. The story follows a girl named Lily who is terribly treated in her werewolf pack. When some newcomers move into town her hope for happiness is within her grasp, but there are some who will stop at nothing to ensure she has a miserable existence. I liked all the characters and thought the main characters arc / development was relatable and not predictable. I do wish more time was spent on the world building - it's a town mixed with humans and werewolves and I would have liked to explore that dynamic more. *note there are a couple chapters depicting rape that may be triggering for some
Great story, as far as I could read it before it wanted me to pay by the chapter. How rude! I would buy the book, but 40 chapters to buy, so disappointed. I tried to find it, not on Amazon, cannot find it to buy it anywhere. Spoiler, you gotta pay to read
What I read of it was great, I even cried a little, but I wont be purchasing on this app. Release it to a main stream book retailer and I will gladly purchase it
From the very first page I was sucked into lily's life and could not put this book down.
At 8 years old Lily's mum is killed after saving lily from a stranger from that day lily's life changes her father her brother and her whole pack Shun her and blame her for the death of her mum their luna and her fathers Mate.
Lily grows up tormented where ever she goes and is beaten almost daily by her father the Alpha . After a beating where her wrist is broken Lily speaks out to the nurse and a doctor but they and no one else believe that their Alpha/her father would treat his daughter in such away and her father tells them that she does these things to herself for the attention. The only friends she has are Eli and Amanda and their Daughter Bella who lily is allowed to babysit for although she and they have to keep their true friendship a secret from the Alpha and the pack. When lily reaches 18 and has her first change to wolf she decides enough is enough and starts to try and fight back and although she does gain a few allies everything does not go to plan and lily must face things she never thought others were capable off ...
The story pulls you in and you feel instantly drawn to lily. Characters throughout the book have depth and meaning which makes you want to know what happens to not only lily but others throughout the book you go through an array of feelings with the characters and gave an understanding of why they all act the way they do.
My only issue was the there were a few missed words and spelling mistakes in the kindle copy also swear words or trigger word would be blanked out such as kidnapping would be K********g which is rather annoying especially if it's not always obvious what the word is and you've got to try and figure it out , luckily there aren't many you do not know and in all fairness it didn't bother me all that much or take away anything from the story.
Not necessarily a new story line, but it was an interesting read. Lily's mother was murdered, and her father blames her for the loss of his mate. Since he's the alpha, he gets the entire pack to turn against her too. It is not until her 18th birthday, and a new family moves in, that things begin to change. I like how her relationship developed, I won't say more than that, because I don't want to give a spoiler. Each chapter ended with a song quote, which I think should have been in a different font or color or a box or something, because I felt it was distracting. After the first couple, I quit reading those. There is a chapter where she is attacked in a different sort of way, and that chapter was flagged as a possible trigger chapter. I didn't think it was necessary, but it was appreciated.
My biggest issue with the book is the platform it was "sold" under because I hate buying books by the chapter. Especially when there are 50-thousand of them. Just give me one price and let me download the dang thing! I get that Amzn is not always the best for authors, especially unproven/new authors, but there has got to be a better way. A minor issue was the fact that the "cursing" was asterisked out. Which wouldn't be a problem, but they also did this to the word CRACK. Which if they were talking about crack-cocaine or something, I might have gotten it. But when she heard a c***k, that's really hard to figure out!!
4 stars for the book, really good story line. The book had me drawn in and I really wanted to find out what happened to the characters and the reason why they acted their part. Really love the twists, had me on suspense throughout the chapters. Would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't for the end or the fact I have to keep buying coins for the next chapter. Purchasing more coins to find out what happened in the next book ain't really the one for me, rather buy the book itself then buying coins to read a book. There were grammar/error issues but that doesn't bother me as much. What annoyed me is that some of the words were censored and I had to work out what they were.
Like others I was also drawn in through a Facebook Ad and had to download this app which makes you buy coins for chapters. I look everywhere else and only managed to find it on another app like Dreamo (FicFun), so for a few days I would switch apps waiting for the coins to pile up until my patience had died and then ended up buying coins to read the rest of the chapters.
Overall good book just rather pay for the book itself than pay coins for chapters.
Honestly, i was a little annoyed about the pay for each chapter but then i was ok with it.
For one, it made so that the author isn't losing out on finacial support, because people can read it for free if the stay in the library or book store long enough. And it stops the risk of her creative rights to be stollen. That is some that happens way too often, unfortunaly.
Second! It was a GREAT story! Reading it chapter by chapter made the suspense more memorable! I loved it so much that i am now on the third book! The only real critique i had with the author is, i needed a foot note for the 2 book letting me know it was the end and to expect the third soonish. Its just a courtesy thing, because i was greedy for more.
Thirdly! I am supporting an artist! I am a visual artist and i know how hard the arts as income can get. It was worth it for me. Knowing i can access it after the chapter anytime was nice! I have books that i baught that i haven't finished and is wasting space, so for me this was a welcomed change. Great story! Looking forward to the next chapter!
Didn’t even realise this was on good reads otherwise I’d have reviewed it at the time A brilliant emotional tense story about an abusive alpha to his wolf shifter daughter Lily grew up with the abuse but who can she turn to her dad is thee alpha of the pack and actively encourages the others to bully her but when one of her bullies rejects her she snaps and starts to fight back I loved the story and the characters There’s typos but I expected that because it’s on an app It’s now a few months later and i still remember the story just not the exact dates I read it
I would love to read this book, but having to faff about with coins and am I spending money? It’s not an easy site to go on pick the book and just read it. I would just rather give up as it’s the easiest option. I would not mind paying for the book out right so I know I had the whole book to read.
If the author reads this which I hope they do they need to put this book on a site that is easy, also to have the options to have it on more than 2 web sites as both are as bad as each other where it is impossible to actually get to the whole book.
What an emotional roller coaster! I love how even when things were bad, I sensed good things were around the corner. It was evenly paced and plot driven. The evolution of Lily was like a phoenix rising from the ashes of her tragic, abusive childhood. The book ended on a good natural cliff hanger which could make this a stand alone and they lived HEA. But I like that we’re going to get to the root of all the years of tragedy by facing it head on. I can’t wait for the baby making to start and for them to end Alpha Erickson’s reign of terror 💜

What i have been able to read of it is good, and has peaked my interest enough to see if their is a book to buy, unfortunately their isn't from what i can tell. But some of the grammar in it is lacking, maybe that is because it hasn't been published as of yet and until it gets published then the grammatical errors will not be corrected until then. i tried to read it on dream.com but they want you to only purchase page by page and not the whole book, seriously disappointing.
The book is good; however, on Amazon, the book is not readable. To explain how it looks, the font is minimize and two pages are bunched on one page. I spoke with Amazon through their chat and they said it would take weeks to correct that error so readers could see the book and read it. Just passing this along in the hopes the author could contact Amazon and speed up the process of correcting that.
