This book stole my heart and soul, it left me breathless and filled a darkness with so much light. John and Paige's journey is one of devastation, an unbreakable connection, fate and shattering heartbreak. However, amongst the evil the Empire showed Paige that not all sinners were ones that would break and destroy you. This poignant and intense story will have you on the edge of your seat, your heart breaking with every dark moment that Paige had suffered. It also brought pure joy, happiness and a light to the darkness as this powerful man showed her what love and passion was truly meant to be. The chemistry that radiated through every word between these two was felt deep under your skin. Their story at times will bring you to your knees, the tears will flow and the darkness will surround you but when a man with a heart so huge he lights up the night sky does everything within his power to give her the peace she needs, your smile will be large and your heart will be light. Your emotions will be on a roller coaster ride from start to finish but for all the lows their story took, the highs won in the end. Another magnificent addition to this series that has you not wanting to leave the world these character draw you into.

Paige is one amazing strong woman. John is one compassionate loving man.They have an amazing connection. Loved the twists in this story. Love that John was able to show Paige what she needed. Could not wait too see where everyone was going. A must read.

I've started to just hand over my heart to Kathy Coopmans whenever I read one of her books. I did before I read Condemn. I should have given her my soul too. There has only been two other books to crush me, destroy me, fill me with unrelenting anguish, and then fill me up to over flowing levels with love and devotion. Okay, loyal possessiveness is probably a better description for a man like John, but you get the idea.
Did I like it? Enjoy reading it? No, I freaking LOVED LOVED LOVED it!! I super highly enjoyed it!! Kathy Coopmans can have my heart, soul and first born (Sorry Amber...not really) for the next book. She is like a fine wine and gets better with age. Except better with each book she writes.
I am recommending you read Condemn. The emotional rollercoaster is so worth it.
On a side note; does anybody know if Queen of the Dark Romances title is taken? If not all hail the Queen, Kathy Coopmans.

This was another soul wrenching book from this talented author.
Please heed the warnings, it is NOT an easy read no matter whether you have triggers or not.
But in saying that, by the end you WILL be smiling, so as always the pain is worth it.
I've been looking forward to John's book as he's intrigued me from the beginning of the series, and it did not disappoint.
But the female main character ending up stealing my heart and admiration more.
So much happens within the pages that I'm not going to comment on the plot or explain any more but do yourselves a favour and one click immediately.
This book will stick with me for a long time.
Cannot wait for the next one either especially after some scenes I read within Condemn.

Let me just start off with… this book here is one of the best books I have read in a very long time.
When I decide to read a Kathy Coopmans book ( and I do often) I need a few things by my side… a drink , my kindle, a snack( because I’m not moving till it’s done) and a box of tissues. This book is no different. I read a few blurbs before going head first into this one. One thing I remember is it was going to be an emotional journey! Boy she did not disappoint on the emotions!
I found myself falling for and rooting for John and Paige. Boy did I want John to be just like “ all the kings horses” when they put Humpty- Dumpty back together . I wanted John to do that for his beauty too.
This is one emotionally charged love story with a little Empire justice thrown in for good measure. Cause you know when it comes to Empire men, the bad guys never get away. Nor should they.

I was so into this book, the characters and the storyline! I absolutely loved it! Looking forward to more from some of the secondary characters-- hopefully.

Five huge stars for this book that cleaved a hole in my heart from the first page. Its become a running joke that whenever I start a book by this author, that I hand over all vital organs and my need to breath, because oxygen is overrated, right?!!
Paige's story is gut wrenching, heart breaking. I felt it soul deep, seeping into my bones as I moved through the book. There were times I put my kindle down, just to take a breath.
John Bexley is a force of nature, the apple has not fallen far from the tree!! He feels deep and my heart fucking wept as their world is blown apart.
God help those mothertruckers when The Empire get hold of them!! Sweet baby Jesus! This ranks high, for me, as one of this author's best books!

There are authors that have the ability to make you feel things and experience things by just reading their books, and this lady is one of them.
Kathy Coopmans has this unique writing that will hook you up in a sec.
Trust me on this.
She has written some of my favorite books and I can't get enough of her.
Condemn is her latest release and it's the fourth book from The Diamond Empire.
This book explores the lives of John and Paige.
One side note, if you want to really know this series I advise you to read The Syndicate series first. This series is the beginning, we're all started, it's the first generation. But if you don't have time, a pity if you ask me, read Concede, Callous and Control.
John is a powerful and ruthless man. The Empire is his family and he will do everything he can to protect the ones he loves.
After a one-night stand, he can't forget the mysterious woman and wants her again. So, when their paths crossed again...
Paige had suffered the unthinkable at the hands of her husband. The abuse was daily and how can someone live like this?
But despite all the abuse, she's a strong girl that doesn't give up.
She had a one-night stand, one moment to forget everything and just forget reality.
What she wasn't counting on was finding him again when she needed him the most...
Oh my God...
I was a mess when this book ended.
My eyes were puffy, my heart heavy, and my lungs lack oxygen but I will read this book again. So worth it.
This lady knows how to crush your world and how to mend it again.
Forget all the trigger warnings, and just go for it. You will not be prepared for it but you will enjoy it immensely.
Stunning plot, very well written, super dark, dangerous, and intense.
So much was going on that my head was spinning.
I seriously wanted to hurt Lucas... Does that make me a bad person?
Once I started to read this book I couldn't stop for too long. I had to make a few pauses along the way because I just needed to calm myself down.
These two are perfect for each other and it's amazing to witness their journey together.
There were parts of the book that made me shake with fear and others that made me burst into rage.
Seriously...
I was amazed by everything and I'm so glad for the chance to read it.
This book is one of my favorite books this year and I want everyone to read it.
But it's not a unicorn and rainbow kind of book, so if you can't handle pain, suffering, abuse, or torture, this book is not for you.
Kathy, you my dear are amazing. That dark side of yours is brutal and this book was the cherry on top of the cake. That mind of yours... Dayum.
What's next? Yes, I know that I'm greedy but I don't care.

Girl. Kathy Coopmans has done it to me again! I fell in love with the men and women of The Diamond Empire and their children and their significant others are making my heart fall even harder than I was before. I didn’t think it could happen but Kathy just keeps getting deeper in my heart with every book she releases.
Jon Bexley is the Underboss to the Diamond Empire, taking over for his mom Calla and with the ruthlessness that he got from his father Cain.
Jon met Paige a few months ago and he’s been looking for her every since. When he does find her she’s running for her life and when she’s in her arms he knows he’ll do whatever he has to in order to keep her safe, happy and in his arms at the end of the day. He doesn’t care who he knows it and who he’s gotta take out in order to get it.
Paige has been a victim at the hands of her husband for years. Some years she doesn’t remember since she got hurt and suffers from amnesia.

Devastatingly awesome fourth book for the second generation of The Diamond Empire
I am speechless!!! Author Kathy Coopmans has yet again has given everything within her heart and soul to her characters and to her readers, and I am at risk of repeating myself!! “Her writing is amazing, say it again, her writing is amazing.....” And I reiterate for however many times that through John and Paige’s story, this is her best book yet! While it was a difficult read at times, the emotion behind the words does ease the painful message 💔💔💔
Ms Coopmans does not shy away from difficult subject matter. She gives voice to Paige and unfortunately so many others, and in doing so gives them validity. They count. Her words cut swathes of sorrow through my heart and it bleed for both Paige and John. She broke them and me, but she also fixed us. 🦋
I also love a man who will raze all to the ground who hurt the woman he loves, yet with those same deadly hands treat her like the queen she is to him. Her heart is safe with her man because he’ll treat it like a treasure, if she lets him, and wow, it was all hard to read.
Ms Coopmans is a maestro with words and she will play your heartstrings with words of sadness and joy. Once again, CONDEMN deserves all the stars!!! 🤎❈🤎❈

There is something really special about John and Paige. The love that these two found in each other was healing and beautiful. Kathy has a way of making these powerful men extremely ruthless when they need to be and soft and tender when they are with their women. The men are very deadly to the people that deserve it and for me that makes this story even better.
Paige has been through a lot in her life. She is married to a very evil man that deserves all the pain someone can muster. Paige's abuse is very severe and I hate that she had to suffer through every awful moment. But what I love about her is the strength that she found deep within herself to get back up and make a wonderful life for herself. The saying goes you never know how strong you are until it's the only choice you have...and this fit Paige perfectly.
John never thought he would be able to find Paige after their quick moment together months ago. Needless to say he was shocked when he saw her again after she was once again hurt by her husband. John makes it his mission to ruin Lucas and give Paige the life she deserves. And I loved every single moment of John getting his revenge.

It is said that authors leave a little bit of themselves in each book they write and you can see it here. From the dedication to the last page you can feel every single feeling Kathy has poured into this storyline. I remember reading the first book that introduced the families and how I felt at the time. Nothing about the intensity of these storylines has changed. Each one has been different but has still manged to surprise and thrill me and of course along the way they have broken me.
Paige's story is hard to read in places and it should be as it is a reality for so many. I felt every part of it grab my heart squeezing every last drop of emotion from me. John is a perfect mix of his parents, fiercely loyal capable of extreme brutality but his heart is so full and open to love that you cannot help but fall for this complicated man. Once I started the book I did not stop reading until I got to the end. This book is a journey of love acceptance and hope and I liked the way that both aspects of the story mix seamlessly. We get the dark aspects of the Diamond Empire which the author does not shy away from and the tender aspects of a man who will do anything to protect the woman he loves.
A series that gets better with each new book I cannot wait to see what is next from one of my favourite authors.

This story is riveting and will have you captivated from the very first page. Kathy Coopmans is not only an amazing author but a beautiful person. She makes sure that everything is always okay, she likes to laugh, and tell jokes, and is one of the most amazing women I have met in this book world. If you have not read her stories you need to.
Condemn is a story about heartache, love, and living. Paige has been through so much in her life. She is stronger than she believes but wants to be whole again. When she meets John he makes her heart beat double time. She never thinks she will see him again until fate has other ideas. When she is struggling for her life she sees the man that had a piece of her heart. These two will go through tragedy and heartache. They will come out on top but not without nightmares and an ex that will try to destroy it all.
This book does have sensitive topics so please be prepared, but the survival story is so worth reading.

This book has so many things that I was like oh my. First off there are triggers, If you can keep reading because it is so worth it. Many times I thought oh I can't do this I can't read it but for me there isn't a book that is more well written then this one. I am so glad that I kept reading and didn't give up. This is the fourth in the Series of the Diamond Empire. It keeps getting better and better which each book. I could so relate to Paige's situation, when you have someone who is supposed to love you bring you so much pain and suffering. One night was all it took for her life to change. Well that and a certain someone Named John. what that man wouldn't do for her is everything. the compassion that he shows her is everything to help mend her. it's raw and emotional be ready for this because you will LOVE LOVE LOVE it

Gah! This book was FANTASTIC! Anemotional rollercoaster that I didn't want off of.
I love this couple. Their feelings developed fast but ran deep. They quickly bonded heart and soul. We feel every emotion because Kathy Coopmans writes with feeling
Every scene dark (my favorite), loving, heartbreaking or steamy grab you and suck you in.
Paige has an inner strength she doesn't know she has. When she finds it, it's a beautiful thing to witness
And John **sigh**
One of my favorite lines describes him with perfection Paige calls him
"My dark vigilante Prince"
I cannot wait to see what this author comes up with next!
I love this couple. Their feelings developed fast but ran deep. They quickly bonded heart and soul. We feel every emotion because Kathy Coopmans writes with feeling
Every scene dark (my favorite), loving, heartbreaking or steamy grab you and suck you in.
Paige has an inner strength she doesn't know she has. When she finds it, it's a beautiful thing to witness
And John **sigh**
One of my favorite lines describes him with perfection Paige calls him
"My dark vigilante Prince"
I cannot wait to see what this author comes up with next!

This author is amazing, every story she writes has way of tugging your heartstrings, bringing you to your knees and making you want more. This story was no different John and Paige's story was heart wrenching, beautiful and broken. Every page wasn't enough, the triggers in this story broke me, made me feel all the feels and so much more, a book hangover doesn't even begin to say that's how I feel. The one thing her men have is the loyalty to those they love, the strength to not only break them but make them protect hard. Her heroines are tough, elegant and bold. This series is full of things you don't see coming, can't wait to keep reading.

Condemn is book 4 in The Diamond Empire series by Kathy Coopmans. Get ready for your soul to be taken on a tortured ride. Heed the warnings given. The story well makes up for any emotional suffering. John and Paige's story - ohhh Paige's story is intense and heart breaking. John is like this epic storm, a complete force of nature. Them meeting, coming together is meant to be but yea, it's a thousands years to see them get their HEA. I enjoyed reading the when, who, what and how everything went down between Paige and John. I can't wait for the next book in this series!!

To say this was an intense read is putting that mildly, I absolutely loved John and Paige. Everything she went thru and is going thru, she is one strong woman, she's a survivor. John and the rest of the boys are saviors to her and women exactly like her. He is such a contradiction, is he sweet, caring and everything a woman needs and then there is the other side of him, who enjoys torturing really bad guys. These two had a connection right at first look, and fate brought them back together when she needed it the most. What an amazing read!

I knew this one was going to hit me hard and oh my stars did it ever. I have to say, I think this is one of the best books Coopmans has ever given us. It is raw, passionate and so emotional that I felt the pain bleeding off the pages to the love between John and Paige. It is intense and so much more. The history behind Paige is beyond haunting and I have been intrigued with John for so long. Words cannot express how much I got lost into this story and felt what they felt. This book is meant to be read. If you have been keeping up with the series, this is an excellent addition, but if you are new to Coopmans, you need to do a deep dive because the culmination to this story is just wow!

Condemn broke my heart. This was a hard story to read. It has triggers but the overall story was sad and broke my heart. Kathy Coopmans did an amazing job with this book. It was emotional, heartbreaking, and different. Both MCs stoled my heart. Paige is so strong and brave while John is very sweet and compassionate. Their love and chemistry was so beautiful. Their story is devastating but it ends with a beautiful HEA.

John was strong, protective, and was her perfect match in every way. Together they were magical. The writing was great, the emotions were realistic and I really enjoyed reading their story. Highly recommend reading it!

Paige and John is a great story. Paige is running away but I love that John who finds her isn't a stranger....this deals with some dark topics but this author addresses them so well. Grief is normal and we get to see the tears. Told in dual POV it follows the path of Paige learning to trust John. While the physical was there she needed to work through things and John had to have the patience to wait for her. This is a gritty read but it is such a power and great read.

One of the most broken heroines I've ever read, Paige's pain will suck your heart and soul out, and dare you to tip toe back out on the other side! John Bexley you make being bad oh so good, and your fierce heart is beyond beautiful! Intense, emotional and action packed, the Diamond Empire series continues to be a stand out in the Mafia genre! Five stars, this read is TBR list worthy!

This book had me shattered while reading Paige and John’s story. The more I read, the more I fell in love with them. My emotions were definitely on a spiral roller coaster but I can not say enough about how perfect this book is and I can not wait for more!!!!

This was another soul wrenching book . Paige is one amazing strong woman. John is one compassionate loving man.They have an amazing connection. Loved the twists in this story. Love that John was able to show Paige what she needed. Could not wait too see where the story was gonna take me. A top read!

5 RIPPED MY HEART OUT STARS!! This one ripped my heart out, but I loved every moment. John and Paige's story was hard, but so worth the heartache. This author always pour blood, sweat and tears in her stories and I would not want it any other way.

Another great read ! I loovve mafia books and this author writes them well, bad mafia but with a big heart for family, a tragic story of Paige’s life and a chance for her freedom ?? A must read to find out what happens, it pulls at your heart.
