I was born and raised in the South and even hung my motorcycle helmet in Colorado for a few months. I've always had a touch of wanderlust and have never feared just packing up and going on new adventures, whether in real life or via the pages of a great book.

When I was a little girl, I didn't want to grow up to be a writer—I wanted to raise unicorns and be a superhero. When those gigs fell through, I chose the next best thing: creating my own magical lands filled with adventure, magic, humor, and romance.

I live in Florida with my two dogs and when I'm not writing or reading, I'm racing motorcycles with my taller, more handsome half, hanging out at the beach, or binge-watching anything magical on Netflix.

I'm eternally grateful for all the people who help make my life what is today - friends, readers, family. No woman is an island.

Marriage is Murder is Book 15 in the Witches of Keyhole Lake series by Tegan Maher.
I love this series and I was so excited to read this book!

Ms. Maher's writing is the kind that sucks you in with the most wonderful well written unique characters and excellent stories.

Who doesn't love a little murder during wedding planning?

The plot was perfectly paced that left me guessing until the very end.

I am so happy this series is still continuing; it truly is like going home.

Another entertaining installment of Noëlle's and Hunters investigations. I really enjoy Tegan's great humour and inventive imagination every time. It's just the light, easy, cute and funny read I needed as a break from the really heay stuff I am writing just now. Thanks, Tegan.

extraordinary Supernatural cozy mystery series

This is an exceptional supernatural cozy mystery series. A spectacular cast of characters and a fun and entertaining storyline. Noel Flynn is a witch in a small southern town. She comes from a long line of powerful which is in her family. There are a number of other which is around town as well as a few other supernaturals in nearby towns and nearby. The town also has a thriving post-living community of ghosts that hang around of which they can choose which people to see them. Noel owns a horse farm and lives there along with her boyfriend/fiancé the town Sheriff her talking miniature donkey max and if you friends that board with her. She also has many friends and family in the nearby town of keyhole lake. Her aunt is one of the Post living ghosts in town and her sister who used to live with her is now off at college and doing other things such as saving the world as part of another new series. Read on and see what adventures Noel and the gang get up to this time. There’s always a murderer or a mystery or a crime that happens in town or somewhere nearby for them to solve. Also look into the other Siri‘s written by this great author. They are all in the same magical world of humans in supernatural living amongst each other of which most humans don’t know about the supernatural. The truth is out there. Enjoy

FAMILY

With Noelle and Raeann handling the wedding of an old friend, they are introduced to the brides family, a bunch of hateful backstabbing and murderous group. It makes the suspect pool rather large and then there's the Bigfoot sightings!

A few typos interrupt the flow of the story.

This is as ever a great read from Ms Maher, I love the Keyhole Lake series. The human characters Noelle, Raeanne, Shelby, Hunter etc and the ghostly characters like Aunt Addy, Belle etc really make these books fun reads. Set in the South with the essence of Steel Magnolias running throughout. Hunter is the Sheriff and Noelle earns her living by turning her hand to whatever takes her fancy. Noelle and Shelby her sister inherited the family farm when their Aunt Addie died and have a wonderful life there. Unfortunately there is a lot of nefarious shenanigans going on in Keyhole Lake which usually results in somebody ending up dead. Here it's a member of a wedding party so the pressure is on to find the murderer before it spoils the bride's big day. As ever this is a lovely read but there are quite a few typos which have you pausing and rereading the previous paragraph, there's also an error at the end of the book where instead of it being a few hours later it's the next day. Leave aside those little quibbles and it's a lovely book but the proofreader needs to do.better.

This series continues to be great. The mysteries are well done and the characters are terrific! Read it in one sitting and then one to the next one!

Amazon synopsis:
When Noelle and Raeann's college roommate calls and asks Rae to be her maid of honor, both girls are ready to pull their hair out. Despite the evil step-mom, the self-righteous real mom, and half a dozen off-the-chain relatives interfering, the girls manage to pull it off.

The dress is fitted, the cake is ordered, and the invitations are sent. Now all they have to do is await the big day, or so they think. Three days before the wedding, the bride's uncle, an eccentric, irritating man on the best of days, winds up dead. With the sane, favorite uncle at the top of the suspect list, Noelle and the crew have to work fast to figure out who really did it before the whole wedding ends up a wash.

Full of family, friends and Southern charm, you can't go wrong with a book from the Keyhole Lake series. I am always left with such a good feeling after visiting with Noelle as well as the others who make up the great cast of characters - hard to choose a favorite one that's for sure (although Max does have a slight edge - he is so funny). Every adventure is just as fun as the last one and I am always anxiously awaiting the next book as soon as I finish!

Good story but horrible editing

I liked the story quite a bit. However, the editing was horrible. Characters are called by the wrong names, words are missing from sentences, many misspelled words (there instead of their), and a chapter starting out on the wedding day while the next chapter began with the wedding the next day. I don't know who the editor was but they are bad. I almost stopped reading halfway through because it was hard to read at one point.

Good but needs another read-through

I like these books, but the errors are distracting. They’re mostly because of talk-to-text mistakes - like “Coralee’s prayer was ‘and answered’” instead of “unanswered,” as well as missing letters and missing words. One final read-through would hopefully fix most of them.

Didn't see that coming...

Wedding bells again but they still aren't Noelle and Hunter's! Those two are too busy solving murders and even a crazy little mystery in this book. Tegan took us on a great ride with this book and I highly recommend it to anyone. But you definitely have to start from book 1 to fully understand EVERYTHING!!

Disappointed

Its not a bad story but... I had my heart set on Noelle getting married in this book. I waited forever for a new book in this series and all we get is some "best friend growing up we've never heard of" plotline ?! And bigfoot? Really? Dang. If it wasn't for Max and the last chapter I would have been more upset.

Weddings

Who knew weddings could be deadly. This one really had me guessing who done it and why. All the suspects had really good reasons to want the man dead. Only one truly did and she will get what's coming to her. Kinda sad that Noelle and Hunter are not planning a wedding soon, oh well I hope they get that vacation that they were talking about.

Dial M for Marriage and Murder

Things are hopping in Keyhole Lake. Noelle’s college friend, Cara, has come to Keyhole Lake to get married. Sadly, someone killed one of her uncles before the wedding. Will Hunter and Noelle find the killer in time to save Cara’s wedding? Buy the book and find out! Another must read from the incredible Tegan Maher.

Great reading

Just finished #15! Love all the characters like family. I like both the mystery and humor. Feels like I live in Keyhole too. Thanks for writing books that can take me away and enjoy it too without too much blood and guts. I read those too but I need downtown too! So, again thanks and can't wait for the next one!

Another great one from Tegan!!!😀

I just love Max the talking donkey who was originally a Lord from the 1600's I think and he lifted a Irish red haired witch and she turned him into a more suitable form. Region's books are a great read for young teens on up there isn't any sex scenes only some kissing which is mild.

Pre wedding murder

It's been nothing weddings the last few months, and Noelle is tired of it . She even pushed her wedding back a year. When she gets a call from her friend in college and was asked to be maid of honor she really did not want to but of course she said yes, but she did not say yes to another murder.

Mystery at a wedding

This one was just okay for some reason, there were a lot of rude people, a death at the wedding of a character I hadn't really met. And little progress in the relationships I do care about. So it was fine but not stand out.

A Good Read

It was nice to revisit Keyhole Lake. I enjoyed the characters, the story, and the ghosts. The book definitely needed better editing, and maybe more resolution to smaller incidents. Like, why was Belle mean to Erol. But, all in all, I liked it.

Amazing as always!

I love visiting with Noelle and company! There were places I laughed myself silly and places I wanted to shed a tear or two. Great story, characters that feel like family, and magic! What more can you ask for? Amazing!

Great to return to Keyhole Lake!

So love this series! I look forward to each new book. This one didn’t disappoint although, I was wrong in who did the crime! Love the nod to Bigfoot and Pokémon Go! Well written and exciting read!

Great characters but terrible editing

Love the characters, but the editing and proofreading were really bad. There were typos as well as crossed story lines. This really detracted from the pleasure of reading the book.

Although I still love reading about the characters on Keyhole Lake I thought that in this book the ending seamed rush with little explanation about the motive for the murder. Despite that I’m still looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

Great

Another fun story from Keyhole Lake. Wish there was more magic to the story, but I love the country setting and southern characters.

Is Bigfoot real? Guess you'll have to read it to find out!

keyhole lake series is the best

I’ve read every book Tegan has written. Each book in this series catches the reader from page one ti it’s done. Except for a few typos ‘Marriage is Murder’ was exceptional. I recommend it to anyone looking for intrigue and a happy ending.

Great

Great, but like Noel... I'm tired of weddings. Found the book very entertaining and am looking forward to the next. No drop ins from Shelby and crew, and fewer of the regulars in general. Still fun. Loved the Bigfoot bits.

Good story

The books aren't quite as long as when the series first started out but Noelle and Hunter have more of less found their niche with each other. Would love to see them seal their 'I do's' before the series comes to an end. Until then on to their next adventure.

Another mystery solved

Another enjoyable story from the witches of keyhole lake. The characters are fun to follow and keeping up with the series allows you to get to know their stories and how they are evolving. Love the southern charm. And Max gets a friend.
