Beauty & The Beast #4

A Beauty So Cursed

Rate this book
A bride is sacred whether given or...stolen.

Once upon a time...

With every end comes a new beginning. I'm an enigma of a man with two sides. The same violent blood that's in the Russian mafia, the Solntsevskaya Bratva lies in my veins. I'm told I could be the new Pakhan.

There's a young scarred beauty in the kingdom, Lada Sokolova with bright sightless eyes, a noble Mafia princess.

The fairest in the kingdom. Her marks go deeper than the ones carved on her face. I see her, and the pain in her eyes mirrors my own.

They say she was supposed to be betrothed to my family. She's too young for me. I'm twelve years her senior so I reject her. Now, she's getting married to a brutal Vor who's more than twice her age. It's been decided, and I can't interfere now.

I do the one thing I shouldn't have, causing my life on the line.

I take her. I kidnap a bride in her wedding dress. I'm only doing what's right, protecting an innocent ...even if it's from the predator inside of me.

Welcome to New York's Underworld.

Loosely based on the fairytale.

I received an ARC copy of this book and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I don't know where to start with this book. I have so many things I loved about it but I don't want to give anything away and spoil it for others readers so here we go.

For me this is the best book in the series, with more than a few jaw dropping moments to keep you turning the pages.

The characters are rough around the edges but likeable and the plot is very unpredictable all the way through, which I really enjoyed. I read half the book in the first sitting and I only stop because I had to go to bed. I usually read three to four books at any given time so yes this is a page turner and there are no slow chapters in the first half of the book.

This book has surpass all of my expectation and I loved everything about it.

Thank you Beena Khan I really wish I could have given this book six stars so good.

Happy Reading 📚📗📘📙📒📚📓📘📗📚📓📘📕📚📙📒📚📗📘📓📚📙📒📚📓📖

I've never written a couple who I wanted to wring by their necks and have them make out already. Well, hello to my most super slow burn novel.

This story helped me heal as a writer, and it gave me breather and a recharge from my other intense & dark books. After A King of Beasts, I wanted to write something more cuter.

This book does have dark elements like my previous books, but it's lighter in content to end on a finale of the series. It'll be time to say goodbye to the series which is saddening. Some characters will appear as secondary characters in spin-off books, and some will have their own books :) I do love what I was able to create in my first mafia universe. Thank you for sticking around.

Here's to many more...

Big thank you to the author for the free ARC in exchange for an honest review!

I have to say for clarification, though I rated the third book in the series, A King of Beasts, I was relieved to find this book milder. I don't believe I could have read this book all the way through if it had been as dark as the other one.

I like the plot idea. A Beauty So Cursed is a story of Miran Demir, son of Roza Ivanova and Kaya Demir. His past is complicated and now his future even more so when he unexpectedly falls for a blind and scarred Bratva beauty.

I found this book lacking depth. For lack of a better word, it felt like someone was narrating the book for me instead of me reading it. All was out there, put into words instead of letting us figure it out ourselves. The dialogues were quite simplistic. I could've had something more.

I didn't find certain character's actions believable.

I believe that this book could have been refined more. Something is missing so I have to give it 3 out of 5 stars. I really wish I could have rated it higher, because I had been looking forward to this book.

ARC kindly provided by the author in exchange of an honest review. Thank you, Beena! ❤️

I’ll start by saying that some books are written for reading and some books are written to be devoured. This book falls under the second category. You know that feeling when a book is so good, that marks the reader in such a deep way that the only thing left to do is to devour the book in order to survive the angst and curiosity? Well... this is one of those books.

This month was hard for me. And I slowly drowned in the sea of reading slump. But somehow I was saved by this book. When I started reading it, I was so “not in the mood” for reading, that I thought it would take me at least a week to finish it. Yeah, right. Not even if I wanted to, I couldn’t have done this. Because the book was so beautiful, that it captured me into its pages and I had to finish it as soon as possible because the curiosity almost killed me.

I am so happy that the last book in the series was a quick and innocent book. In comparison with the other 3 books, this one was lighter and not so dark. Which I really appreciated. I loved Miran and Lada together. They had the kind of connection that not all of us get to experience in life. Especially due to Lada’s situation.

So thank you again, Beena. Without knowing it, you gave life again to my reading appetite. ❤️

I'm sad because this is the last book in the series but wow what a great ending, this book was a complete surprise.

We met Miran in a beauty so cruel he was a friend of Dahlia and he was very interesting and we finally got to meet him and read his story which I totally loved. Lada is a new character and I love her so much I just wanted to protect her all costs.
Lada was so shy but with the passage of time we could see her being stronger and more confident, instead of Miran the "strong" character we could see his vulnerability and I liked that so much.
I loved these two so much❤️ maybe their relationship did not start very conventional but I think they both did quite well.
The way Miran saved her and protected her was very cute.

In this book I can read again my babies Vlad and Dahlia(I miss them so much🥺) and not only that, Beena gave us an extended epilogue for them * SCREAMS *
Also thank you for giving us that reunion between Vlad and Roza because I need it and when he says mamochka ... 😍

✦I can't wait to read the books by Salvi, Valerius, Gabriele and of course after this ending the book by Alexander.
✦Beena thank you so much for give me the opportunity to read this incredible series❤️

I can't believe that this series has come to an end.

A Beauty So Cursed is a dark mafia romance and I enjoyed it a lot because was exactly what I was looking for and I loved Miran and Lada's book!

I'm laughing while I remember that I hated Miran because I thought he was into Dahlia. Don't judge me. Miran is so hot, dark, and twisted in a good way, ok and I loved that. How he will do anything to protect the people that he loves. The moments that he had with Enzo were my favorites that when I knew how intense Miran could be, but then when he was with Lada he was so gentle with her.

We have our heroine, I didn't know what to expect from Lada, and well, she surprised me like no other. She was so strong, kind, and fearless I loved her because of that. How she wasn't intimidated by Miran and fight him back. They were so beautiful and sweet together.

Now, I need to talk about Vlad and Dahlia. I was so happy reading them, I loved their moments together, when they were with Miran and his family too! Please, I need to talk about how Miran was always bothering Vlad about the guns for the sake of his mother and Dahlia. He's one of a kind.

I enjoyed this book a lot. The characters development was so good and I'm not talking only about Miran and Lada, I love this family. They are so special to me!

I received the ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review and I can't wait to read Alexander's book. What a plot! I loved it.

Ps: I'm so happy that thanks to this series we are going to have Salvi and Gabriele's book. I love them so bad. Thank you for bringing those fictional men to my life, Beena! I feel like One Direction, you know? This is not the end.

A beauty so cursed is the finale to the beauty and the beast series by Beena Khan. This edition of the dark mafia series was unique, telling the tale of Lada and Miran.
Lada was offered to be Miran's wife as an arranged mafia marriage. Miran the DEA chief, refused countless times after seeing how young and innocent she was. Lada's father had then decided to marry her off to a much older than her man, Sasha Petrov. After hearing about this Miran didn't want Lada to end up in the cruelties of Sasha so he stole her from him at their wedding (consensual). This action created a messy war between the two mafias costing them both...
The characters in this novel were one of a kind. I couldn't wait to get read this book once I heard it was about Miran and I was not disappointed! Never having met Lada before in previous books I was interested in how her character would play out and I loved her because of her admirable traits.
The writing was great. I love Beena's writing style, a dark romantic edge. The character growth and the whole story was written well. (Spoiler for book two in series: One of my favorite parts was getting to see moments with Dahlia and Vlad together as a bonus.) There are a few triggers in this book such as mentions of sexual abuse and physical violence towards characters.

If you haven't read the previous books in the beauty and the beast series, I would definitely recommend doing so! While you don't need to read them to understand A beauty so cursed, it does contain some major spoilers for the previous books.

Would I recommend this book? 100%

I voluntarily received an e-ARC copy of this book in exchange for a review. Thank you so much!!!

A Beauty So Cursed is a beautiful outstanding story that literally gave me the chills, in the best way possible and it left my heart so full. It made my heart beat faster, and it had me giggling out loud, blushing and swooning so hard. It truly did exceed whatever expectations I had going into this and went even beyond anything I could've even imagined.

At a first glance, Miran and Lada may seem like they are far too different from each other but in reality they have that same darkness inside of them that connects them in a much deeper and special way. Miran hides his emotions behind his darkness not letting him have that love he deserves and Lada literally lives in it with not having the ability to see but it has also always been a part of who she is.

They both seriously have a heart of gold! Lada quickly became one of my all time favorite heroines. She is a sweet pure character who deserves all the good things in the world but also has that badass bold side to her that I absolutely adore. The way she transformed from this quiet terrified girl into someone not afraid of going after what she wants is EVERYTHING.

I completely fell for Miran too, he is now one of my favorite heroes. His compassion and instant protectiveness towards Lada completely stole my heart. Some of his actions may be questionable to some but the brutality of it all is only towards the ones who truly deserve it. The people dumb enough to mess with his girl will have to suffer the consequences.

Miran and Lada truly have an epic love story and the way everything evolves between them is outstanding. The fiery tension, the subtle but not so subtle flirting, the steam and the giggle out loud moments balances perfectly with all the emotions, vulnerability, darkness and overall intense plot. Because of Miran's darkness the tries to push Lada away but the way he quickly learns that she connects to him, falls for him because it reflects her own, is spectacular. He may have saved her at first but they ended up saving each other.

They are also one of the most precious and cutest couples I've read about, and I just adore them so freaking much. This also has so many moments, and the extended epilogues, I had no idea I needed in my life and they made me love the book even more than I already did.

Beena Khan truly delivered an epic conclusion to this marvelous series that I fell head over heels in love with and is one of my favorites!

"He walked into my life like he'd already belonged there, tore down my walls, and lit my soul on fire. We were incomplete without each other. Two pieces of the same soul. He was the only one I would ever want. He was my home."

*I received this ARC from the author but the thoughts are completely my own.*

"A bride was always sacred whether given or stolen."

ARC received in exchange for an honest review.
SO WHOSE GONNA TELL MY FUTURE HUSBAND THAT HE'S GOTTA BUILD ME A LIBRARY JIST LIKE MIRAN BUILD ONE FOR LADA. Talk about relationship goals! Ugh these two. Too damn cute.
I didn't expect how spectacular this was going to be. I honestly didn't know how Beena would endear me to Miran and Lada mostly because for me he gave the whole big brother vibes and I was so scared but nope, Beena nailed t AGAIN!
Miran and Lada now have a place in my heart right there with Salvi and Ehva. They were just so fucking cute. Like excuse me Lada is exactly the kind of fmc that I love and adore. The perfect blend of mischievous and innocent. And my god the little games they play. Mind you I was laughing my ass off & being turned on at the same time. What the hell.
My god, Miran was too fucking hot. Just.. damn that man really is too fucking hot and such an ahole. But his dynamic with Lada oh gosh.
Lada, 3 words – Innocent, mischievous & fuvking feisty as hell. Opps thats more than 3 words but you get it. Definitely so far my favourite Mafia girl from B&TB world. The first time she entered the room and my heart was like oh god, oh god. She just had that kitten vibes as Miran keeps saying. And though her dad and this worlds shitty beauty standards brought down her self esteem, she doesn't let it stop her. It spoke for how strong she was. That she would do anything for you, but only if you appreciate what she is doing for you.
When this idiot said nope not gonna marry Lada, she's too young. Like excuse me. 🙄 GRAB HER & NEVER LET GO. My heart breaks for Lada and everything she went through and I legit jumped when he came to steal his gurl from her wedding. Circa Rhysand acomaf. Man, I was airing myself. And then the lake scene. I keep saying this but they just hit me. Gold, Gold, Gold Beena. Please I can't handle anymore fluff or smut. And when she so sassyly asks why is red not the safe word? Girl please 😏🤌
Suffice to say I legit read the entire 259 pages in one sitting in an hour. Thats how excited I was!
Would I reread?
Definitely
Do I recommend?
100% yes.

Troupe~~>
Mafia romance
Stolen (consentual) Bride
Age gap
Sassy/asshole
Slow Burn to the point where u want to stick them together!

Safe word, rough sex play.

𝔸 𝔹𝕖𝕒𝕦𝕥𝕪 𝕊𝕠 ℂ𝕦𝕣𝕤𝕖𝕕 is the fourth book in the 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝘂𝘁𝘆 & 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 by Beena Khan.

I suggest you read the series in order to get the full experience. Most of the characters make appearances and even have integral parts in the telling of this story. 𝗔 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝘂𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝗼 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗱 book one is where we meet Demir and book three 𝗔 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁𝘀 is where we get Demir’s backstory.

In this book we finally get DEA Chief and rightful heir to the Bratva throne, Miran Demir’s story. It feels like I’ve been waiting for this one since first being introduced to the mysterious tall, dark, and handsome friend of Dahlia’s in book one. Demir is elusive, reserved, but he holds a deep-rooted dark side of himself that comes out in questionable ways.

To be honest, I hated Demir in book one and two. He seemed hardheaded and reluctant to see reason. In A Beauty So Cursed, I saw another side of Demir. His softer, passionate side that he hides away from everyone else for the sake of his job. As DEA chief, he’s never maintained a serious relationship. Demir sees it as his mission to take down the Mafia at all costs. Being the son born into a Bratva family, he works hard to maintain his career as well as alliance with his family.

When his Bratva relatives try to force him into an arranged marriage, he refuses. He wants nothing to do with the Bratva and especially doesn’t want to be their Pakhan. When he meets the woman, he is to be married to, Lada Sokolova he is taken aback by her youth. He feels he’s much too old as he’s 32 and she’s 20. Things take a drastic turn when Demir finds out Lada is now arranged to marry a man twice her age and a known cheater and cruel. Demir can’t just let this girl be married off and takes matters into his own hands.

In this book both Demir and Lada struggle with their demons and grew as individuals. Lada feels he’s unworthy of love and has always been told she’s cursed. Demir sees her and risks it all for her without second thought.

A story of two broken souls finding each other in the darkness. I enjoyed seeing Demir’s gentle side. Lada was strong in the face of her everchanging circumstances. I loved that she stood up to Demir proving her youth doesn’t mean she’s a child.

The extended epilogues were so heartbreaking and touching.

Looking forward to more from the author.

"A Beauty So Cursed" by Beena Khan is the 4th book in the series and I absolutely loved it! The story, the characters, all of it.
One of my favourite things about this book was the female protagonist. Let me tell you, she was awesome! She was confident, cunning and an absolute badass. She knew what she wanted and she got it. A Queen!! Beena managed to create a complex character, without making Lada's personality revolve around her disability. That was something I really appreciated.
Then, the reunion and cameo with the characters from the previous books. I thought my heart was going to explode! It was absolutely wholesome! I even shed a tear at some point. Vlad, Roza, Dahlia, even Enzo... All of it was just heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time.
Overall, this book is one of the best that Beena has written so far and I cannot wait to see what she has in store for us.

A huge thank you to Beena as always for providing me with an eARC in exchange for an honest review!

“𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀. 𝗜 𝗺𝗲𝘁 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗻’𝘁 𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁. 𝗛𝗲 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗱.“

It’s no surprise that I absolutely loved this and devoured this within a few hours because (1) Beena wrote it so of course it’s amazing and (2) we finally have Miran’s story!!!
This may come as a spoiler if you haven’t read AKOB so I highly suggest reading that first before getting into this.

I love being back in this particular world of mafia and being with all these familiar characters again. It’s nice that we got to be with the old ones as well as meet some new ones and them coming together in an awkward but entertaining reunion/gathering (Everytime we meet an interesting side character I’m like “Ahh when is this person getting a book???)

but what I love the most was being in Miran’s head and getting to know more of his thought process and true self. I’ve always seen him as this hotshot DEA Director and Dahlia’s former guardian so I really enjoyed seeing more of his caring side and especially his dark and brutal side. Then here comes Lada who I absolutely loved! She may have seemed as a damsel in distress at first but I enjoyed seeing her grow into a tough and more outspoken version of herself! I was surprised by the disability rep explored through her character but it was so well-written in a way that it (along with her scars) didn’t became her defining feature or weakness but a part of her that played well with her strengths.

I was living for all the tropes in this book! Their deliciously slow burn, enemies to lovers romance was *chef’s kiss* along with the stolen bride trope which made me love Miran a little bit more! There are definitely still the dark, heavy and triggering scenes (that might not be for everyone but are the parts that make me love Beena’s books!) throughout but that was balanced well with all the swoony and steamy scenes! Their banter and sexy teasing were exhilarating to read about and chemistry was just so natural that it was easy to fall in love with every scene they had together. Their love was genuine and the smut was panty melting as always!

Towards the end, their story was wrapped up satisfyingly while still dropping bombs that make me more excited for the next books! The extended epilogues were everything I wanted! It gave me so much satisfaction and closure in regards to the previous main couples’ stories! I’m so so excited for the next books that I’m counting down the days for each one! I honestly don’t know which book I’m more thrilled about because they’re all equally exciting!

Overall, I loved this book and I can never get sick of being in this world filled with an amazing cast of characters with each of their own captivating stories. I highly recommend this if you love dark mafia romance!

A Beauty so Cursed by Beena Khan
Published: August 1, 2021
Beena Khan
I received a copy of this book for free, and I leave my review voluntarily.

Beena Khan is a storyteller based in NYC, where she brings dark fairytales and myths to life. She writes mafia crime romance, romantic thrillers, edgy new adult that gives you a book hangover. Her books are painful, messy, dangerous, and raw. She has a master’s degree in Developmental Psychology and a minor in Arabic studies. She often explores the human psyche. She published her first book, The Name of Red, when she was 26.

“It was spring outside, but winter was in my soul, and it wasn’t leaving this time.”

Miran is a dark, complex man. He has one foot in the light and one foot in the dark. As the DEA Chief, he is responsible for upholding the law. But with family ties to the mafia underworld- he also has a dangerously deadly side he works hard to hide. Lada is the docile daughter of a powerful man. She does what she is told, no questions asked. When her family arranges her marriage, the last thing anyone expected was the bride to be stolen from the alter.

This was my favorite book in the series! I loved Miran from the beginning when he was mysterious and represented safety. Getting to know him and getting to explore who he is finally was fantastic.

The characters in this book were excellent. I think this is Beena’s best work to date. The emotion, passion, power, and familial dynamics that were captured were expressed so beautifully.

Lada was the perfect leading lady. She was the most confident character I think Beena has written. And I love that she is flawed, but that her inner self is so strongly represented. Everything about this character screamed perfection. I enjoyed how sassy, caring, resourceful, intelligent, and bold Lada is. She radiates light.

I enjoyed the tango between light and dark throughout this novel. The imagery was stunning, and the manipulation of the words was so well played. The pacing of this book was perfect for the story, and the extended epilogues were an excellent way to finish this mythology.

4 Lada & Miran Stars!

“We were incomplete without each other. Two pieces of the same soul. He was the only one I would ever want. He was my home.”

This is the last book of the Beauty and the Beast series, and we come full circles as we finally get the closure that we need for all the characters in the series. I didn’t know what to expect for Miran’s story, but it was a good surprise. Miran & Lada’s story was unexpected, and I really liked the direction that Beena took with their book. If you have read the previous books from the series, then you must definitely read this!

To be completely honest, I hadn’t paid much attention to Miran in the previous books and at some point I felt that he was a little annoying. However, reading through his POV and his story, it made me see him through a different light. On the other hand, Lada was also a surprise—she was soft but also strong. Despite the age gap between both, they complemented one another perfectly. Lada & Miran had an explosive chemistry, and it was endearing to read the beginning of their story and see come to an an end.

Also, the side characters appearances from the previous books was what I needed. It was nice to see Dahlia, Vad, Roza once again, and see their own closure in the series. It felt nolstagic reading the epilogues!

Once upon a time…. I started a series that consistently puts me through emotional turmoil. **internal screaming**

The Beauty & The Beast series is not your average fairytale retelling. It’s dark and obsessive. This book was milder than the others but still just as incredible. Miran and Lada have such a deep and intense connection. I loved watching Lada’s strength and confidence grow. She’s a sweetheart and much stronger than she gives herself credit for. Miran is super sexy and twisted yet compassionate. I love the way he protects Lada. He easily stole my heart. The slow burn nearly killed me but made their love story so much more fiery and epic. Beena has created a unique and intoxicating world. She writes in such a way that you can’t help but devour every word. Another review described her writing style as having a dark romantic edge, and I would agree. I think what I love most about her books is how dark and edgy they are. She pushes the limits and leaves you satisfied yet begging for more. It’s hard to write a review on this one because I don’t want to give anything away. I will say that I definitely recommend reading the series in order to really appreciate what A Beauty So Cursed has to offer. Thank you to the author for gifting me this amazing ARC in exchange for an honest review. I’m saving an audible credit for when this one releasing on audiobook!

If you’ve been reading the previous books in this series, you will not be disappointed. Without giving any spoilers away, this book had me hooked from beginning to end. It’s a beautiful love story between Miran and Lada. The author will have trapped reading this book and you will not want to put it done, take breaks or sleep!!
I loved how their love story unfolds and how Lada is so strong and pure. As much as she’s been through she definitely is not a weak soul. I also enjoyed reading about Miran since he was a constant in all the previous books by Beena Khan. You will be rooting for both of them to live a happily ever after that they deserve.
I usually don’t like to read mafia type books but oh my goodness. I am so glad I did. Beena has a way with words and storytelling that you just feel connected and committed to wanting to read anything she puts out. Every single book I’ve read did not disappoint and I promise if you start from the beginning you will be yearning for more!
Also, it was so great to read about previous characters that tied into this book. I always love seeing how previous characters are doing now. Such a good read!!!!

The final book in the series, A Beauty So Cursed, is a slow-burn, age-gap, dark mafia romance. It’s part of the Beauty and The Beast series of interconnected Mafia/Bratva romances.

Lada, our beauty that has been made to believe she is cursed. She has been scared and her father blames her for her mother’s death. Her father has already made plans for her future, but will a knight in shining armor come and save her?

Miran, ohhh you sneak. You kept your identity hidden from all of us for so long. I was so pleased to know you were getting your own book. Miran is DEA and tied to the Bratva, he is Roza and Kaya’s son after all. When he has a family visit, the topic turns to him getting married. But he’s already married, to his job. Can Miran be a hero and save the damsel in distress?

Little by little the series grew on me, I became invested in all the characters, but Miran being so secretive, is why I think this finale was my absolute favorite of the series. He is my book boyfriend of the series.

Recommended for those that like a lil darkness in their romance, a lil mafia in their romance and a lot of steam when it’s time for them to get down.

Read Responsibly.

This is the fourth and final book from the series and it tells the story of Miran and Lada. Lada is a sweet and innocent blind girl who was oppressed her entire life. She was promised to Miran, but when he reject her, her hand is promised to an abusive man. In the day of her wedding, Miran steals her and save her from this terrible fate. I know many people didn't like Miran in the previous books but I never hated him. He intrigued me since the beggining and I was happy when I found out he was going to get a book. Gladly, it didn't disappoint me. This story is lighter and has a slower development than the others and I really appreciated it. I must say they became my favorite couple from the series (sorry Vlad and Dahlia, I still love you but they completely won me when Miran built a library with braille books to Lada 😭). I absolutely loved Lada. She was so innocent and shy but at the same time mischievous and it was soooo adorable. But I think I still can't choose a favorite heroine from this series. I love them all equally.

PS.: I love the Vlad and Dahlia's crumbs in this book 💗 that epilogue was so cute.

Now, I can't wait to Salvi's book! I'm so excited!!

Thanks so much for this Arc . One of The authors best . I absolutely loved it .

I wasn’t a Miran fan and was suspect of him in previous books , but after this one , team Mir!
Lada is so sweet and loved the aspect of her having a disability. It was written well to help explain hardships she faces with daily tasks that other people May over look .
The DEA and mafia / Bravta had some amazing scenes . The fights for power and family dramas were amazing. Seeing Vlad and Dhalia again too was great . Mir goes dark and I’m here for it . Loved the banter and romance with him and Lada also . The scenes get spicy and sweet and a perfect age gap mafia .
Was sad about one scene w a companion when you know you know ( insert tears ) .

“ he was my twisted fairytale Come true “

Chefs kiss Beena Khan thanks for trusting me to read and review your book .

Well, Beena definitely did an amazing job with this series! We got intense, dramatic and sexy look into the two sides of the Mafia world that Beena created. This book definitely exceeded any of my expectations I had!

Compared to the previous three books in the series, this isn't as dark as the others, but I still loved it just as much as the others. Miran and Lada have such a wonderful story, that you definitely should be picking this up!

Beena always creates such amazing reads, and this one is no different! I can't wait to see what she's going to be doing next!

Actual Rating 4.5

I absolutely adore this series and was very keen to see what direction Beena would take for Miran's story. I think this was written brilliantly and showcased both the darkness and light that is within Miran. I will admit this is not my favourite book of the series but it is damn near perfect.
It's totally worth reading just to read the extended Epilogue from A King Of Beasts!
Beena Khan has definitely found a place on my favourite authors list.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I received an ARC of A Beauty So Cursed and I am voluntarily leaving a review. I really loved how different this series was from any dark Mafia romance I have previously read. I cannot wait for the spin off series. I would love a third generation series as well.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

A Beauty so Cursed by Beena Khan is a dark mafia romance. It's the fourth book from the Beauty and the Beast series.

This one is about Miran Demir the DEA Chief and a mafia princess, Lada Sokolova.

Alexei Ivanov was trying for years to convince Miran to take the position of the Pakhan and marry the young Lada. He refused every time so her father decided to marry her off to a man much older than her, Sasha Petrov. Miran couldn't allow the innocent girl to be with a monster like him so he stole her. By doing that he created a war between the Bratva that could cost the lives of those he cared about.
Could Miran be the hero Lada needed?

It's such a beautiful story. It's less dramatic than the previous books but it's more sexy and romantic. The plot has enough similarities with the rest of the stories from this series but it isn't the same exactly. Kidnapping, torturing, and killing are some of the dark events
that happened and could be triggering to some. The romantic part of the book was swoon-worthy. I loved the tragic aspect of Lada's life and how they connected with each other. Miran was a character that I didn't like since the beginning but that kinda changed here. His dark sexy side won me over. Lada was my absolute favorite character by far from all the books combined. She was this innocent girl who turned into a seductress without losing her lovely self. My favorite parts were when she got mouthy with him.

I fell in love with this story and I will rate it with 4,5 stars. Let's see how Beena Khan will shock us next...
