The premise of this book is very believable. The motives of the characters ring true. This book is a bit more narrative than I prefer, but that is a personal preference. As a reader, there are specific things you'll learn by reading this book beyond the entertainment, specifically some things about flying small aircraft. The proper English in the dialog slowed my reading down slightly, but overall it does not take away from the story.

It took 8 years to finally finish and publish.
The story grew from personal experiences and places I had actually visited.
Enjoy reading my first but not last book.

New Cold War
By MK Whiting

New Cold War bridges the Cold War, started in 1941, with the current day (2010) international political climate in the most peculiar way. After discovering a mysterious mathematical formula, James is left to uncover what it means and what to do with it. While the story is fascinating and the premise believable the writing felt stiff and descriptive rather than flowing and captivating. Strong character development pulls you in and keeps you turning pages with a twist at the end that will tug at your emotions.

Had the opportunity to curl up and read cover to cover my own book in paperback.
It was a different experience. The story was already known to me and I still enjoyed it.
To be honest I teared up at the end, not because it was my book, but because the ending just got to me.
If you get a chance, check it out.
