Gotta say I did enjoy the story, but it is one of those sweet lovey tales, where they fall in love, then fall apart cause they won’t talk to each other, until they can’t live without each other and then can’t stop talking lol. If you like HEA then this one is right up your alley.

Sadly my first read of the year was bad.

Let me tell you a little story, I saw Thai advertised as an enemies to lovers romance, but there’s no enemies!! Also, this is called “doctor’s SECRET BABY”, so I thought she had the baby and hide from him, but nop!! The tittle of the book is a spoiler for the third act break up.

Anyways, this felt so long and so boring!
Hopefully my next reads will be better

Sometimes I just want a secret baby trope and this one seemed interesting. But it was very vanilla, the doctor wasn’t enough of a dick for my taste, too much happy time in the relationship and not enough angst.

I wouldn’t say this is enemies to lovers as advertised, Ethan liked Piper from the beginning but they only had like two-three small conflicts regarding how he treats the nurses at work. The ending included the pregnancy also seemed extremely rushed through and was barely a part of the story in my option, it felt more like the focus was on keeping their relationship a secret rather than the pregnancy. Over all not that bad of a book but not what I was expecting from it.

Ethan is an emergency room doctor and the oldest of 5 brothers whose rich parents were killed when he was around 20. He doesn’t believe in love and commitment and only as one night stands with women who don’t live locally. He meets Piper, who had just moved to town after he broke up with her loser boyfriend, at a tavern and finds her sassy, funny and sexy and after drinking they end up going back to her place. The next day she starts her new job as an ER nurse and finds out that Ethan is her arrogant, cocky, and rude boss. Ethan is still attracted to her but doesn’t want to get involved with someone who works for him and he doesn’t want small town gossip. Piper is also still attracted to him but doesn’t like the way he treats people. Will they still be able to work together and deny their attraction?

I loved this story about another of the 5 Cole brothers whose parents had died when they were younger and they where now afraid of love and commitment. I highly recommend this story of Ethan who was afraid of losing someone close to him again so he never wanted feel love again. Piper was starting over in a new town and was attracted to the rude doctor but he didn’t let anyone get too close to him. They had to work to see if they could find a way to be happy together. The epilogue was a great conclusion to their story.

This is one of the books that gets me like how does the man always say he doesn't want kids but as soon as their love interest is pregnant they be like only you... it wouldn't have worked with anyone else. This definitely fell under grumpy/sunshine trope all the way. Ending kind of felt rushed but it was cute the way it ended.

If you enjoyed reading this book, you should read Another, The Enemy Trap, The Promise and Gilded Cage.

DOCTOR’S SECRET BABY is about the oldest of the Cole brothers, Ethan. He meets Piper for a super hot one night thing and then, of course. they find out the next day Ethan is Piper’s boss at her new job.

To me there is always this air of suspense when a couple is seeing one another in secret because of what could happen at work. I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop there.

What’s to like about the book? Ethan and Piper when they aren’t at work have great chemistry. Ethan is kind and charming, unlike how he is at work. I think you will agree with both Piper and me that regardless of his reasons, he’s a nightmare boss. I got a kick out of this comment by Ethan:

“And when I’m done tasting, I want more. I want to fxxx you, slowly at first, and then hard and fast until your neighbors know my name.”

As the title suggests, Piper gets pregnant and telling Ethan becomes an issue. You will have to read the book to see how that goes. It is a quick read. I did feel some of the passionate scenes were a little long.

I downloaded Doctor's Secret Baby as an ebook. Read through it in a couple hours.
The thing about this story is it's well written. The way the author brings the characters to life and pulls you into the story says volumes. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and I highly recommend it to others.

Ethan and Piper face the facts that just because they say they're not ready for a relationship doesn't mean they shouldn't jump on the chance when it's obvious it's the best decision. Until they hit some bumps in the road with self doubt and conversations taken the wrong way. I enjoyed how this story played out and it was done perfectly. The happily ever after came just in time because the steps leading up to that point where there is finally understanding of one another and their feelings was a bit rough.

This story will invoke some emotions. Nothing drastic but enough to keep you in the story and anxious for what happens next. I will happily read this one repeatedly.

Eventually Ethan and Piper begin to see each other secretly. Piper discovers she is pregnant, but before she can tell Ethan, he makes it plain that he does not want children. Will Piper tell him once she has a chance to think about it? Will Ethan see things differently if he knows he has a child on the way? Or will she leave town and start over alone?

Piper and Ethan meet one night at a local hang out. Sparks fly between them and soon they are leaving together. They end up having an amazing night together. Piper starts her new job as a nurse and when she arrives and starts getting introduced around she sees Ethan. Stunned that her one night stand ends up being a doctor where she works. Ethan can't believe that the woman he was with end up being a nurse where he works especially when he makes a point in not getting involved with co-workers. This has him being even more standoffish at work to everyone. Its not long before they give into temptation again and start seeing each other on the side. However when Piper learns that she's pregnant she worries about how Ethan will take it. Will she tell him about the baby? Can they have a future together?

This is an amazing story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

"What made a hospital good was how the staff worked together, how well they got along, how they worked as a unit." This is a well-written story with amazing characters. The chemistry between the two is explosive.

Ethan is the oldest of five brothers. He's a respected doctor in the community. He doesn't have time for a relationship, but is all for one-night stands with tourists. He doesn't sleep with local women, especially with anyone from work. Yet here stands Piper in my ER. With her working in my ER, I’d broken my own rule without knowing it. And that downright pissed me off.

Piper is new in town. She recently had a bad breakup and took a nursing position in North Haven. Today was her first day at the hospital and she was excited. That was until she saw him. "Oh. My . God . Not only did Ethan work at the hospital, but he was also my boss. Yeah, the worst thing in the history of one-night stands had happened to me."

Piper had no regrets until she meets her new boss in the ER. He does not even act like the same man towards her. He does feel drawn to her and they have a fling. Piper discovers she is now pregnant with a father who does not want a child. She has some tough decisions to make. Ethan will have to decide if he wants to trust his heart and grab onto what has been missing in his life. This was a good story with characters who are great together.

Ethan Cole is the third book and third brother to get a book so far. Ethan is the oldest of the brothers and is a doctor and does not commit and does one night stands. He lost his parents when he was twenty. Ethan goes out one night and runs into Piper, who just moved to town. He likes her she is fun and smart and is just a great woman. The next day she starts her new job and she is working for Dr. Ethan Cole who is arrogant and bossy. They are drawn to each other but in a small town they have to be careful because of gossip and he really does not want to date someone that works for him. There is something that cannot be denied and Piper needs to share her secret. This is a well told story and the characters are wonderful. The characters are wonderful and the story flowed well.

This was pretty good

I definitely liked this one better than the previous two. Ethan and Piper had great chemistry. The tension was well placed. It kept me reading and I didn’t once want to skim (I’m a big skimmer when I get bored or frustrated). SPOILERS AHEAD).

My only complaint about this one was when Piper was afraid to tell Ethan she was pregnant. I understand why she was afraid to lose him. But her fear caused so many more problems and ended up driving them apart when she should have just told him. One of my biggest pet peeves in romances is when stupid miscommunication drives a couple apart. It’s just so unnecessary. But things eventually end up working out and the ending was pretty good. But they would have gotten there a lot sooner if she had just been honest with him.

This is the third book in the Cole Brothers Series but is read as a standalone. They say a one night stand can change your life and that's what happened to Piper. A one night stand with a gorgeous blue eyed hunk allowed her to escape from the horrible memories of her ex boyfriend. A night to remember in more ways than one. Imagine Pipers shock when she goes to work the next morning and her blue eyed hunk is grumpy Doctor Ethan. This was a really cute book that was fun to read. Crystal Monroe did a wonderful job with the characters. The story line is entertaining and will keep you guessing. There's no cliffhanger and a great HEA. Oh, mercy, the one time that she let herself enjoy the night. She has moved to a new town, got a new job, and kicked her boyfriend to the curb. Go home with a one-night stand. Only to realize when you get to work on Monday for the new job that your one-night stand is your new boss. He is a total jerk at work and rude. When he sees her, it makes him even worse. As time goes, they give in to their sexual needs for one another and see each other quietly. The problem with this is she becomes pregnant. She is scared to tell him, not knowing how he will react. What can this all mean for them with her being pregnant and small-town gossip?

So this needs to be said... this was so much better than the first book. I am so glad that I decided to give the rest of the series a chance after the lukewarm reaction I had to the characters in the first book.

Even though I already knew the backstory of the Cole brothers having lost their parents at a relatively young age, I enjoyed seeing how another brother dealt with the loss and how that made him into the man he ultimately became. In this case, Ethan, unlike his younger brother, was afraid to love and either didn't recognize it or was just blind to it when it eventually smacked him in the face. And of course, because this is a romance novel, it had to hit him and hit him hard, followed by confusion, denial, and lots of drama before he is allowed his HEA.

The writing itself was great. The characters were strong and entertaining without being overboard. I would definitely give this author another read given the opportunity.

Ethan (doctor) and Piper (new nurse) meet the night before at the bar and hook up. Now at the hospital, he is very different and swears he never dates co-workers. The romance is a vicious roller coaster, with miscommunication, mixed feelings, time apart and the best of everything. One major secret will keep them apart the longest as he says he does not want children. Fear keeps her from telling him until he forces her to talk to him in the hospital gardens. Fantasies become reality, with a new surprise awaiting them on their wedding day. Loved the characters and the storyline. This series just keeps getting better. Can not wait for the next brother.

Ethan Cole is a doctor. He is a very talented and strict person. He is respected for his talents but his attitude is something else.

When these two meet it's at the local Tavern. It was lust at first sight. The sexual chemistry between them is 🔥🔥🔥. The work relationship is a little different. Add into the mix a baby along the way.

They both have their own emotions to shift through. But they come out together at the end. This book is a happily ever after book. I would definitely read more by this author.

I’m giving this read 4 stars and 4.5 spicy stars.

This books was good like really good. It caught my attention early on and kept it….until the last few chapters. I honestly forgot that this was a pregnancy book. The pregnancy isn’t mentioned till the last 6 (?) chapters I think. The back and forth between the main character wanting to really like or murder this jerk of a Dr kept me hooked.

But when the last few 3 chapters felt rushed. (I won’t spoil anything) Ehh I was ready to finish reading the book lol I genuinely enjoyed the chemistry that both main characters had with each other. Even without the pregnancy aspect of it, it would have still been good. Overall, I enjoyed my time reading this.

Ethan Coke is the oldest of the brothers and an ER doctor that demands perfection. Piper is new to town, who happens to have a wonderful night with a sexy stranger, only it all comes to close to home when she sees him the next day as her boss. Ethan and Piper have a good connection, enjoyed how they each challenge the other in their views and what they’ve had to deal with in their pasts. A good romance that has its ups and downs only to be brought to head when Ethan could lose it all due to his rigidity of control. Great ending for this couple who show that opening your heart is what will allow that calm happiness.

This was a fun and steamy read about Piper and her meant to be one night stand Ethan. Turns out he’s a doctor in the hospital where she just started as a nurse. They fight their attraction but decide on a secret relationship which leads to a surprise baby. Their story is so great, even if Ethan is kind of a jerk most of the time. He doesn’t mean to be but it’s been a coping mechanism all his life so it’s a hard habit to break. I loved their story, the characters of the town of North Haven, the storyline, and the steam.

It was ok.
This is totally and completely my fault, I didn't realize how short this book was. Everything happened too quickly, I feel like if the book had been 100 more pages it would have been a very different rating. We didn't get to see the relationship develop. They met; some months went by where they barely interact; suddenly they were together and we got a few pages of them being good; she founds out she's pregnant and everything starts going wrong; they broke up; they get back together and are in love.
We barely got any scenes of them doing things that couples do (except sex, we do get sex). Idk, it wasn't for me.

An enjoyable third book in this Cole Brother series. This is the story of Ethan who is a doctor and the oldest of the Cole brothers and Piper. It was suppose to be one night and that's it. That changes when she goes to work as a ER nurse in his ER. The story will hold your attention all the way through to see what will happen next. The characters fit well together and it was enjoyable to see them grow. Another great read in this series. Looking forward to read about the next brother.

This is the third book of the Cole Brothers series and it is just as cute as the other two! Piper and Ethan have a sizzling hot chemistry, as evident by how they met. It was sweet to see how much softer she made him, and how they complete each other,. I think the best part is that we get to catch glimpses of the characters from book 1 and 2, which makes it more fun to read. Each book truly is a standalone, and you don’t necessarily need to read in order for it to make sense.

This is an amazing, well-written story that has a little bit of fun, drama, frustrating moments, tension... All the characters are well written from start to finish. Piper, a nurse, has moved for a fresh start to a small town’s hospital ER. She goes out to relax and ultimately has a great night with, unbeknownst to her, the reigning ER doctor. Well, he’s not so friendly or pleasant at work. Not a favorite with the nursing staff when he is overly critical. How will she be able to tell him about the baby they’re expecting especially when they kept their relationship a secret? Nicely written and very enjoyable read

Easy, steamy read with a surprise pregnancy

Overall, it was a good book. Though some parts were a little on the cheesy side, the steamy scenes made up for it. I liked the characters and actually enjoyed that there wasn't really a villain in the story. It focused on the budding but controversial relationship between Ethan and Piper rather than drama from a secondary character. And who doesn't get excited about a surprise pregnancy in a romance book? That brings drama all on its own.

Piper and Ethan have a one night stand the night before she is starting her new job and imagine the surprise the next day when she walks into the ER and finds out that Ethan is her new boss. Ethan lost his parents and tries to protect his heart from suffering that kind of loss again so he keeps to one-night stands only. In the ER he is known as the grumpy doctor and therefore is not well liked but the attraction between Piper and Ethan is hard to ignore along with the two little blue lines.
