Great sweet (and clean) romance! I highly recommend this story. I absolutely loved it.
This author has such a fun way with words! I love the way she entwines the beach theme throughout the book, even when the characters aren't right at the beach.
The story is fantastic too! The characters aren't just fun, they are annoying and beautiful and happy and cranky all at the same time and in just the right mix. I've now experienced adventures I never knew existed and loved every one of them.
This was my least favorite, there was no angst just until the end when the heroine was not giving her boyfriend his place, she kept choosing the other guy even when he was kind of a jerk I don't understand why she said he was better than his fiance when he seemed even more shallow than the Bride but the Bride was bitchy and Chase was just a selfish jerk, he even blame the death of the heroines Mother like he used that as an inconvenience because of that they were not together like she could have married him instead of his current fiance, the nerve of this man. He just wanted to have someone next to him to make him feel good not because he loved them and what an inconvenience to worry for your girlfriend while she was dealing with a dying Mother, he even told her that she was such a downer by that time that she wasn't any fun to hang around her. He was a womanizer and still she thought he was a good guy? I don't get it, I'm glad he wanted to get back with the jilted bride because they deserved each other and I can visualized a divorce, Such an Immature man🙄 and I'm glad he Made clear that he wasn't interested in starting a romantic relationship with the heroine, she deserved that after the other guy (kind of stalkish type of guy) told her he wanted a serious relationship but she goes back after Chase🤦 this woman, insufferable.
Andy the hero was a like creepy like he wanted to control the heroine after days of meeting her but the pining this woman after one of her crushes was annoying and kind of pathetic and I like stories about pining and getting stuck in a feeling but this was bad, didn't like it.
Poor Andy though he really had bad experiences in love no wonder he was so controling but at least he was honest.
It was weird how the heroine was pining for both Andy and Chase like I didn't like that part of the story like that really didn't work, it was too much, she was like pining for one but it's such a coincidence that she gets at the end the other one she was pining at the same time? Like which was it? Maybe she had problems Finding out about her true feelings Even back then.
Chase todos advantage of the heroines feelings at least he made an effort to encourage their relationship at the end because that heroine was so dense that she couldn't understand how she was hurting the man she said she wanted to start a relationship with, like couldn't she see that she was living behing her Best option and the man that was really offering a relationship? She was like "but You didn't give me a chance to explain why I told you to go away even when you felt jealous because of course I was talking with my long time crush right after he jilted his bride and left you behind? Like it's not normal for him to feel jealous of course he doesn't know her, You idiot! He doesn't know how You really are or that you are not going to pick him over him while he was the only reason the two of them where there in the First place, to make him regret dating someone else! So dumb, and she acts all hurt and he has to win her back Even when he asks her again not to meet him again while he was sick? WTF
I didn't like all the beach adventures to be honest I wanted Even more drama so that I could complain!! But this was more about beach resort activities and I didn't like that.
Andy deserved someone better though just like your crush Chase girl, he deserved someone better than you.

Fake Engagement? Check. FMC who is casual and carefree. Check. MMC who hides his family's wealth. Check. Both benefit from signed arrangement. Signed? Yes, as in on the dotted line. Check? Trip to a beach wedding. An old crush and a high maintenance bride to be. What could go wrong? Read Jenny Rabe's take on this trope in a cute and fun sweet romance novel!
I enjoyed this light hearted romance. It was interesting and it was not predictable. I was eager to finish it and find out how it ended. The characters were believable and the story line of fake engagement was refreshing and new in that it was fake from both sides initially, each person using the other for something. I enjoyed it!
This is a sweet romance story where the MMC & FMC pretended to be in a relationship to appease others in their lives and end up finding their HEA. I love the way this book is paced. It was a page turner for me.
This was so good!! Great story, characters and writing! I received a copy of this from the author, however, I am voluntarily sharing my honest opinion here.
This was a cute story. Quick read for me. I liked the characters and the story line, though I think some of the characters feelings and dialogue could have been a little more developed.
This was a cute book about a fake engagement that turned real. Sadie had crushed on Chase for years and now he was getting married to Piper, who Sadie didn't really like. She felt Chase deserved better. She didn't want to attend the wedding alone so she arranged for a fake date/fiance'.
Andy needed to prove to his dad and the board that he could be the CEO of his family's casino/hotel business. But, he had to prove this by becoming a family man and taking a wife. He didn't really want that baggage but he needed a girlfriend in a hurry to convince his dad that he was following their directions.
This was a sweet, clean, wholesome romance that was a quick read. I enjoyed the story but glad there was a happy ending for Andy, Sadie and Chase.
I was given an arc copy of this book and I willingly offer my honest review.
I absolutely loved this book! This new author to me is talented in her character development, dialogue and the flow of the story line.
When Sadie's co-worker pushes her to return to her mother's Florida timeshare and attend a friend's wedding Sadie only agrees if she has a guy to go with. With her old friend marrying her summer crush the last thing she wants to do is show up at their wedding without a date. Thanks to a dating app Sadie is off to Florida with Andy Reed, a guy she had a crush on from school. How will Sadie react when both of her crushes are together?
Andy Reed has sacrificed everything to work his way to the top of the family hotel casino business. Now his father is finally ready to retire but he has put one final stipulation on Andy taking over the company. Andy has thirty days to find a fiance. When his assistant finds a woman on a dating app also in need of a temporary fiance this could be the answer they both need, if he can fool his father and keep his heart out of the equation.
I received an ARC and voluntarily offer this review.
Jenny Rabe has written an engaging fake relationship romance. Sadie and Andy are well-developed characters that you may want to smack once or twice, but overall, they are likable. I was definitely pulling for their HEA, which Ms. Rabe delivered. I especially liked the "grandparents" at the beach giving advice! I would recommend this to readers of clean/wholesome romance and to those that enjoy the fake relationship angle. I was given a complimentary copy of Something Blue. I chose to write a review and share my opinion of this "fake" romance.
Each book I read by Jenny Rabe gets better and better. This one was no exception as we are drawn into the story immediately and our attention grabbed by the urgency of both parties and why they need a fake relationship. Andy needed his promotion, and Sadie needed to move on. Lots of humor and "real" moments follow. I really enjoyed this books. Clean romance, good chemistry, humor, and people I wouldn't mind being friends with in my real life. Definitely recommend.
Andy and Sadie began their relationship with a fake engagement--Andy because he needed a wife in order to secure the CEO job he had worked so hard for and Sadie because she had to attend the wedding of her longtime crush to another woman. This story took me through many emotions and there were unexpected twists and turns that finally led to a happily-ever-after. It was an enjoyable read! I received a complimentary copy from the author and this is my voluntary and honest review.

I always love when Jenny releases a new book and every time she does, I get lost her in stories and characters. However, this one has been one of my absolute favorites! I love the story line, the character development, and how the story comes together! I seriously couldn’t stop reading because I HAD to know what happened!
I enjoyed Sadie and Andy storyline it’s well written and interesting. The characters are engaging and well developed with plenty of chemistry throughout the pages. What starts off on both their sides is a deal that turns in much more.
I received a copy and am voluntary leaving my honest review.
This book is so good! It's well written and the author brings the story to life with her words. Sadie and Andy's story will keep you turning the pages to see what happens next. I loved it! I received a complimentary copy and all opinions expressed are my own.
Favorite in the series! When Sadie goes to Florida to attend a friends wedding she doesn't want to go alone. So instead she finds a guy on a dating app to help with her problem. Little does he know, she has had a crush on him since high school. Its a sweet clean romance you won't want to miss.
I really enjoyed reading this book. Sadie and Andy are characters that are easy to like. Sadie has some emotional issues to overcome and Andy just needs to learn to focus on someone else. This is a very good story. I received a free copy of this book and this is my voluntary, honest review.
It has been a long time since I read a book in one sitting. This story has just the right pace to keep you turning the pages. Andy and Sadie's tale is a clean, light read. There's a tiny bit of spice, but not so overwhelming to make this romance lose its depth.
