I know demanding independence after a family issue is viewed as insensitive, but I feel suffocated already.
My father has lectured me time and time again on how my friends don’t care what’s best for me…and though he may be right, I can’t bring myself to admit dependence.
One minute I’m having an argument with my father, and the next, I’m sitting in a car with a stranger that’s double my age, but jaw-dropping handsome at that. He’s supposedly my boss now, well, until I can straighten out, or so how my father likes to put it.
I’m determined to prove my independence to my father. I’m ready to become a woman, and I plan to satisfy me and my new boss’ deepest desires while I’m at it. Finding more than just my deepest desires, finding myself to be this problem…for Daddy.
❥ If you enjoy steamy short reads with a touch of ddlg, then you’ll love my Please Me, Daddy series. Each book is a standalone romance, so feel free to read in any order you please. No cliffhangers and no cheating. Just a HEA, every steamy time.
Our heroine is ready to be treated like an adult. Turns out that might mean more than she anticipated.
This is book six in the series, but each story is written as a standalone. No prior reading required.
The is a short and steamy story with an instant love and age-gap theme. The story is well written and easy to read with a fun cast of characters. Both the hero and heroine are well developed and likeable. I love the instant chemistry between them and really enjoyed watching their relationship develop. There was also a nice bit of steam, which certainly didn't hurt. Overall, a highly enjoyable story and I look forward to more from this author.
Highly recommended.

Are you looking for a quick. smutty read? If so, then I would definitely recommend this book. The MCs have an age-gap and there's daddy kink too. It's fast and everything insta. There's no beating around the bush and I loved it. It wasn't overly ridiculous either, just enough smut with a simple plot.
Liza’s father, Derek, is annoyed that his 18 year old daughter does not act like an adult so he convinces his client, Bruno, to teach her how to act and behave. Derek springs this on Liza one night and she leaves with Bruno who is a complete stranger to her. Bruno tells Liza she is to cook, clean, and take care of the house and Liza begins to accept the situation and in the process they develop feelings for each other.
A short romantic story of an older man and a younger woman that is written from Liza and Bruno’s point of views. There is angst, relationship building, a father’s disapproval, and acceptance. A great quick read for when you only have a small amount of time or for bingeing the entire “Please Me, Daddy” series in an evening.

Liza feels that she is being smothered at home. She is 18 but her father bans her from going out with her friends on a Saturday night. She and her Dad are having an argument about her independence when her dad's client, Bruno comes in. Just a little while later Liza finds herself in the car with Bruno. She wants to prove to her father that she can make it on her own while her dad wants Bruno to teach her lessons on how to behave.
Bruno is surprised but thrill when Liza's dad forces her to go with him so he can teach her a lesson. Liza is a little brat who needs a firm hand. Bruno is excited about being that firm hand that will guide Liza into adulthood.

B.L. Brooks is a new writer for me but I can definitely tell you that she won't be new for long. Ms. Brooks has a way of grabbing onto her readers from the 1st page to the last. Her characters are so delightfully flawed that you can't help cheer for their happily ever after. Bruno and Liza's story is a unique one, where her father gives her to another man to teach her manners, but finds her happy ending instead. This book has everything that you could want; drama, joy and hot romance. Even it this theme isn't your cup of tea (even in your fantasies) you will enjoy it.

Liza is having a problem with her father smothering her at home. They have been fighting about her friends, Liza's attitude and lake of respect. At 18 she feels that she should be able to go with her friends on a Saturday night but her Dad isn't having it. Bruno ends up with Liza after telling her father that he could teach her about being an adult and learning some respect. At his house she has chores that she needs to do and there will be repercussions is she doesn't comply. Really great story and Liza ends up learning more than cooking and cleaning. Great HEA. This is a great story of Liza and her dad trying to get her a job and have Bruno take her in hand. So she goes with Bruno who is a stranger to her. He is happy to take her in hand. They start to have feelings for each other. This story is great and you can feel the romance building between Bruno and Liza. Liza's father is not happy about this new relationship, which he pushed on her in a way. This is a great older man younger woman story. I was totally entertained. Great addition to the series.

I've loved the previous stories but this one pissed me off. He flat out manipulated Liza into his bed. What kind of man says crap like massage my cock unless you want me to send you back home to your father or Have sex with me unless you want to go back home to your father. I thought you wanted to be a grown up Liza. Yeah... There was nothing sexy about this story. Ugh.. Bruno was just a creep that pushed her into giving up her virginity before she was ready
I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. This is the first book I've read from B. L. Brooks and I loved it. I get a kick out of reading stories about bratty little girls who learn their lesson courtesy of an older man - in the case a friend of her father's. If I get the chance to read any more I will gladly do so. Highly recommended read.
I didn't really connect with this one. Didn't care for either of these characters. Didnt understand their connection. Didnt understand why a father would send his daughter away with another man. I've enjoyed all the other books in this series. This one just not for me.
If you like a short quick read this book is for you.
Liza is finally of age and wants to be independent from her father. Her father has a new client Bruno and he asks him to take her under his wing and teach her some manners. There's a few sexy scenes and her father finds out of their involvement with each other and isn't very happy.
I read an ARC via the author and I'm voluntarily choosing to review it.
