"In Love" is the story of Rhett and Charlotte. A sweet May-December romance about a boss and his assistant. Hero is immediately smitten but Charlotte has her doubts about him. She wants a love as deep and true as her parents and she won't settle for less.
Will Rhett convince Charlotte she is the love of his life? Will they get their HEA?
I absolutely loved Rhett and how he is over the moon for Charlotte. He was obsessed and jealous and possessive my kind of hero. If you like you men with extra testosterone and single-minded in their pursuit and capture of their women, you will love this book!
Nice, angst free, swoony read! Virgin heroine, celibate hero. Loved that the story was told from hero's POV. It was completely OTT, age gap craziness and I loved it! Epilogue was heartwarming! ❤

This one was very cat mouse type of game and since its a boss and employee relationship its alot of push and pull from Charlotte. She doesn't want to be anyone's quick lay and she doesn't know how much Rhett wants her. But that man doesn't give up he keeps chasing and chasing after his girl.
But he does warn her he's tired of chasing making Charlotte think he's done wanting her and this causes a tiny misunderstanding between the two.. I kinda wish they had more with one another I kinda got tired of the push away.

Pretty good, but wasn’t a favorite. So much pushing away. She doesn’t give in until around 75% and it was exhausting IMO
Rhett was all in from the very moment he saw her. He knew she was his future. He wanted marriage, babies - the whole shebang! Charlotte just kept pushing. Making me not a big fan of her. The entire book was in Rhett’s POV with the exception of one epilogue which made me not even sure where her head was.

Rhett falls for Charlotte the moment he sees her, but she doesn't fall right into his lap. He has to work for her, and I absolutely enjoyed their story! I love the way he reassures her about her talent at the job. He wants her to have his babies, but he also wants to make sure she can keep doing the job she loves, if that's what she wants. <3
He enjoys the chase, but only for her. And once he decides to catch her - WHEW!! This story is super sweet, but also HOT HOT HOT. Grab your fan & get ready for the baby makin'!

This one was not terrible, but I definitely wasn't one of my favorites. They didn't really become a couple til after 70% in my Kindle. Way too much pushing away, which made everything feel forced, and I didn't really feel a connection after the first meeting.

Another really good read in this series. This one was a bit different where the heroine puts up a bit of resistance. Poor old obsessed Rhett actually had to wait for her to come around. That let to some fun textual interactions. This series is just chalk full of obsessed OTT alpha male goodness that I will always enjoy.

OMG....I want to be Charlotte!!! Rhett Whitney is a 40 year old CEO and thought he was completely satisfied with his life alone. That is until Charlotte Kennedy showed up to intern for his company. From the moment his eyes landed on Charlotte, he knew that she was his soulmate. Charlotte on the other hand had no intentions of making it easy for him. Even though she was extremely attracted to Rhett, she did everything she could to ignore his advances. She only wanted a love like her parent have, Jamison and Hazel. Needless to say, Charlotte made him work for it....for months! That is until Rhett kind of kidnapped Charlotte and tied her to his bed. He made her voice her concerns and listen to his words of love and devotion. I loved it!!

Rhett sure dragged his feet with Charlotte. The story is told only from his point of view with us getting Charlotte’s in the epilogue so we never find out why she doesn’t give in until the end and then it makes more sense. It was touch and go there for a while and then his caveman tendencies were unleashed which had me gasping and blushing. This is short but it's not rushed, which I loved. It's insta-love at its finest.

This is the story of one of her previous books daughter now falling in love with another billionaire mogul. This time Charlotte gives Rhett a run for his money when she doesn't immediately fall into his waiting arms. She has him wait for several weeks and doesn't fall into bed with him until she hears the three most important words to her. Once that is all cleared up, it is wild out sexy times, with several babies in their future. 4 stars

Another great story in this series. The hot older man that fell head over heels in love with the new intern. Sweet, safe ,steamy with a J/P and obssessed Rhett and Charlotte that was hesitant at first. She wasn't sure about Rhetts motives but in the end the heart always wins. 😍😍😍 Can't wait for the next K-Corp heir to get his HEA.❤❤

Another excellent insta-love romance. This one was filled with more angst than any of the previous books in the series, and it was more fleshed-out as well. Unlike the previous books, the main female character wasn't a teeny bopper, but was in her early 20s instead, while the main male character was 40. Also unlike the previous books, the hero and heroine did not immediately jump into bed together, but the intimacy was delayed until nearly the end of the book...but it caused a lot of tension between the two for the entirety of the story.
While the MMC, the boss, truly pushed the envelope when it came to nearly being an HR nightmare, it only added to the humor that filled the novella. He was definitely a macho, possessive fella who didn't like any other man being around his woman. But that just made him all the more lovable.
As for the MFC...I can see why she held out for as long as she did, but boy did she make him work for it! Still, it was one of the better stories in the series because of the delays in the relationship. It definitely made for a five-star rating and earned a place with the Keeper for the Shelves collection.

First things first; I like the cover of this book!
In love is the eighth book in the ‘’love’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Rhett Whitney is a busy businessman not looking for love. When he sees one of his new interns he soon changes his mind. From the moment Rhett sees Charlotte he needs patience in order to end up making her his woman.
The chemistry between Rhett and Charlotte is clear to see and I liked them together.
I just wish we got more of Charlotte’s point of view. I wanted more of her side than just an epilogue.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.

In Love is a continuation of the Love Series and Rhett does the series justice. Rhett is a 40-year-old billionaire bachelor who works almost constantly. He is content with his life until he sets eyes on new intern, Charlotte. Charlotte wants to have what her parents have but is Rhett the man for the job?
I love Fiona Davenport stories and this can be added to that group, however, I actually have an issue with how patient Rhett is in this story. I know, that is strange. But I was waiting for Rhett to lose all patience and just grab her. This is the only issue I had with the story and the fact that it is what it is…well, I guess that just shows how much I love the traditional, over-the-top alpha!

I received an arc of this story. It is the latest in the Love series. Rhett and Charlotte were good together once they finally got together. Charlotte is Jamison and Hazel Kennedy's oldest daughter. The age gaps are getting bigger and bigger, 18/19 year old vs. 32-36 year old used to be the average, but now these guys are 40+.... I'd kind of like it to go back to the avg. Mid 30s again for the hero's. Overall this was a good one. I'd rate it somewhere in the middle of all of the books of the series. As always, it was good to see the originals again within these next gen. Stories😍

A slowburn romance in this series?
I kid you not. Fiona Davenport gives us another OTT possessive and obsessed Alpha, who actually manages to wait for his woman to get used to the idea of them together forever. Not that he doesn’t try really hard to convince her.
I adore this series. Another billionaire bites the dust of the singles scene immediately upon seeing Charlotte for the first time. Rhett’s possessive and obsessed attitude is hilarious and Charlotte gives as good as she gets. Rhett has his work cut out for him, trying to get Charlotte on board.
I’m looking forward to the next installment. Highly recommend.

This was an awesome book. I loved Rhett and Charlotte. Rhett is brought to knees when he see Charlotte and is willing to do anything and everything to get her. I loved how Charlotte kept Rhett on his toes throughout the entire book. Rhett is very possessive and obsessed with Charlotte and his no problems showing it. Rhett has no problem chasing Charlotte but he is just a man and a has his limits, and once Rhett's meets his, Charlotte isn't going to know what hit her! I really enjoyed this book and I would highly recommend it and this two fantastic authors!

Great novella by Fiona Davenport!!
Rhett and Charlotte's story was a bit of a deviation from the usual FD novella. While there was instalove, it took Charlotte much longer to realize her feelings and accept Rhett's love. Rhett wanted to steamroll Charlotte but realized that she needed his patience more. It was quite funny experiencing Rhett's frustration while waiting many long months for Charlotte to accept the reality of their feelings for one another. This was another great short and steamy read by my favorite duo!!

I love everything Mrs. Fiona Davenport writes! She brings the steam, sexiness and hotness to all her stories. Meeting Rhett Whitney was no different. He was bossy, demanding and possessive. Loved how he caught Charlotte and pursued her like a lion looking for his mate. The banter was everything and Charlotte was a woman who stood up to Rhett challenging requests at the workplace.
These two was playing cat and mouse, and I was there for it! Now just grab this book and see for yourself. *****5 stars all the way!

She came in as a intern but he quickly hire her when he realised how intelligent and overqualified she was and of course to keep her close to him. Unfortunately it took some time to break through her resistance but when he finally did...it was all worth it. Highly recommended.
