This novella is extremely fast paced and a quick read. It definitely kept my interest from the beginning, and although world building was not really done, I did not feel like it was needed. This is a shifter romance story with some action, all of which kept my interest. If you like shifter romances and would like something that can be read in a few hours I definitely recommend this book.

Emotional and romantic


A great shifter romance without the awkwardness of having to tell your fated mate about your hairy habits . Full of romance and action and a sweet kid to help plans along .Part of a series but very easy to read as a stand alone story . If you are looking for a shifter story that has plenty of action but wont keep you up all night with nightmares this is one for you

Glad that things finally worked out for Madison because she didn’t deserve the life she had! Blaze saved her and her son because he was her mate, but it was touch and go for awhile. Great book! Have to finish reading this series.

McTight Pants 😜😆

Read this awesomely hilarious book to understand my title lol, because you’ll get sucked in right off the bat. This is a fairly quick read, but sure does pack an entertaining punch. Blaze and Maddie are just the kind of romance you want to read. They have amazing chemistry, their back and forth banter is funny, yet can also be very sweet, touching and emotional, and seeing them fall in love just makes you happy. There was a bit of action and turmoil towards the end to balance out the romance and test the love between our new love birds, but it worked for the story and really highlighted what an amazing character Blaze is. I have definitely got to read all the Dark Moon Falls books now! ❤️

This was originally in Volume 2 in the Dark Moon Falls Series. This story is a well written tale by S.J. Pierce and set in Dark Moons Falls. This was one of my favorites in this Series. It has good scenes and interesting characters. These wonderfully well crafted characters are part of a throught out series and all their lives interconnect. This believably well constructed world this author has created pulls you in and you never want to leave this wonderful little town of shifters, witches, vampires and a few other characters that pop up along the way. One of my favorite series to date.

Maddie has been a single mom since she told her ex that she was pregnant and he left her. Blaze is the IT guy and a wolf and when Maddie needs help, she calls him. Blaze ask her out and she says yes. As things start getting better, the ex shows back up. When Maddie son goes missing, it is Blaze who comes to the rescue.

This was a quick entertaining read which is fast paced and has some humor, danger, suspense and plenty of steam. Maddie is a single mom raising her son by herself because her ex abandoned her while she was pregnant. She has a crush on Blaze, the IT guy and is over the moon when he asks her out. They mesh well together and things are looking up for Maddie. Then her ex shows up, her son is kidnapped by the ex’s fiancé and Blaze comes to the rescue along with others from his pack. Quick, entertaining with a HEA.

This was a quick but satisfying story line that will catch the reader’s attention from the start. Maddie has been raising her son, Carson, alone back in Dark Moon Falls. Her ex, Spencer, had walked out on her during the pregnancy 7 years ago. Now she is finally taking a chance to look at dating her crush, the handsome wolf shifter Blaze. When he finally asks her out, things are moving along perfectly.

Maddie should have known her happiness would not last. Her ex came back, but his real purpose was to get his hands on his son. He kidnaps him and it’s up to Blaze and the pack to intervene and rescue Maddie’s son. Will they be able to get Carson back without harm?

Blaze is a wolf and biker with a heart of gold. They are mates that are finally dating. Things are changing for the better in her life. But just when she is happier than she has been, her ex shows up. This leads to things getting rough but Blaze is going to protect them. This was an enjoyable story to read. There was a range of emotions from beginning to end

This was a fast paced story. Loved that Maddie was doing great with raising her son and the meets Blaze. She's over the moon when Blaze asks her out. They are really starting to click and then her ex shows up with all his drama and chaos. The ex ends up taking her son and Blaze and his brothers end up helping Maddie get her son back. Madison a single mother has a huge crush on her IT tech guy, Blaze, for the doctor office she works for, the gorgeous wolf shifter Blaze.
They both grow up living in Dark Moon Fall, both leaving and pursue other different careers and both coming back to their roots. After flitering for a few month Blaze finally asked Maddie out and Maddie finally let Blaze know how she felt. Than one day Madison ex came back to town and wanted to be in their lifes again as a family, but what he really wanted was his son only and Blaze came to Maddie's rescue.

Madison and Blaze have a sweet and emotional story. This has a great flow and storyline. Madison and Blaze are a cute couple with an entertaining stoyr. This is a great short read.

Warning: may cause reader to spray coffee over everything.

Really enjoyed this—sweet start through heart-wrenching moments to success at the end. First scene workplace humor of finding oneself eyeing an attractive someone to the point of total embarrassment... felt that one hard! Made me laugh and hooked me just like that. Great way to start the novella. Such a cute couple, and the way they seemed to naturally progress from dinner onward was awesome. Short enough story that there's limited time for twists, but I was still surprised and I loved the follow-through. Her son's simple comment afterward (that she has to figure out what he meant) was so spot on. Perfection.

The shift in point of view of later chapters came as a surprise, and since I think it couldn't be avoided, I would've been more keen to see some of that other POV scattered throughout the novella. Just kinda seemed off when it was just the one section.

The don't think the book info describes the story correctly..... The ex doesn't come into the picture for quite awhile. I expected him to be a problem shortly after the story begins, but he's not. However, there's a big twist in the story after he does start showing up. The book kept me entertained, & I enjoyed reading it.

A Blaze of glory
Such an exciting addition to Dark Moon Falls! I love these characters! The instant love is in the story, but the characters have obviously been circling around each other for much longer. This hint at the length of their relationship adds a depth to the story that made it so easy to fall into. And the book might be a love story, but the author added more than enough action and danger to keep me glued to my seat. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and can’t wait to read the next one by this author.

This is a short steamy romance with a wolf shifter and single mom. Maddie who is a little reluctant at first at getting into another relationship is very attracted to Blaze who comes into the doctor's office to fix the computer. Their first date is steamy and both are interested in more than sex. After talking to Maddie over the phone, Blaze has a bad feeling and his wolf decides to check out Maddie's place and finds her son being kidnapped. The story is very fast paced at this point but they all are happy together at the end.

Blaze and maddie

This book follows on after jaxson, it's two years later after maddies dad died her sister moved back with jaxson and pregnant.Maddie met blaze a year ago or so when she changed job and moved back.Carlson her son has never met his dad but just when things are good he shows up.a short read.
